Can you let me know where you got the music? It’s a sampled track of a famous jazz tune called ‘a day in the life’. Btw I came for the cleaning video which was very helpful.
If it's alcantara then you can check out this video and some of my other videos. If you have a dashboard that's literally made of the same kind of fabric that's on your floor that I'm not entirely sure what you would do. When you want to deep clean something like that you carpet extract it but that might be difficult on a dashboard. If it's just plain old fabric I suppose you could use a laundry detergent diluted in the water and lots of towels. Depends what your goal is and what you're trying to clean if you just need to vacuum it then vacuum. If you stains are bad smells then I would use some kind of cleaner.
I have dirty Alcantara seat inserts on a Mercede from my work pants. Would you say using a Bissle extractor would be ok to properly clean, Before putting a seat cover on for future ?
I have another video on my channel about deep cleaning alcantara. It's pretty recent! Give that a watch. An extractor in theory could work but if it's really gummed up and stuck together I'd try my video method first. Once the fibers are freed up the extractor step could be more effective. To really deep clean alcantara you need agitation and a cleaner to soften and loosen the dirt stuck to the alcantara. Then a dry towel to pull all the junk out.
Not going to lie. I had to Google that to fully understand and be able to reply in confidence. Yes this method will work in that situation too. Be very careful to not get the surface damp or wet. Your just kinda tickling the top of the fibers with the brush and a spray or two into the brush. A detail factory brush is even more gentle too. You could also spray leather cleaner into a microfiber then gently rub that across the surface. ALSO... Lol. You can legitimately mix/dilute water and tide. Afterall it's one of the best fabric cleaners made. Mix it light, as in lots of water and little tide.
@@STATUSDETAIL thanks, I couldn’t find anything to clean the dash and this is the closest material I could find, I’m going to give it a go. Thanks again.
@@cjovanovic6489 that brush is not hard at all. I have a more in depth video on alcantara if your curious to see that. This is more maintenance. That other video is more deep cleaning. You might enjoy it🙂
Didn’t realize it was this easy. Thanks! I’d been dreading the process
I have another video on this that dives a little deeper too👍
This video cam in clutch I had no idea how to clean my Alcantara steering wheel and I was stressing over trying not to mess it up 👍
I have another more in depth video to deep clean correctly 👍
Nice tips. You mean 4 minute Fridays? 💪🏻🙌🏻
Lol. It will likely be a joke that it's never two minutes... But close to two minutes and fast paced videos. Intro outro don't count lol.
Sweet! I already have the Gyeon leather cleaner kit w/ that brush! I'm gonna try it on the alcantara steering wheel in my M3! 👍🏽
Good luck!

Honestly I have no idea. I find random songs on TH-cam! I don't monotize videos so I use whatever I find.
@@STATUSDETAIL thanks for the reply 👍
I’m pretty sure it’s a weirddough song, not sure which one. You might as well just go through all his music, it’s really good!
Found it, but you just gotta go through and find it yourself . Won’t take long and you’ll hear some great sample chops !
The guitar melody in the track playing is taken from a Jeff Beck song!
I didn't know that. I also don't remember what it sounded like lol. Made this awhile ago

Hello, I have a question: How can I clean a carpet-type fabric dashboard?

anything work well as a protectant for the alcantara?
I actually use gtechnic leather gaurd. Spray it into a microfiber and apply to alcantara carefully
Does this work for dinamica as well?
If that's a form of alcantara or suede then it should work
@@STATUSDETAIL worked! just needs a lot of scubbing.
@@TheRealMystermaN awesome 👍
Would this work on flocked dashboards

@@rali742 my pleasure. Glad I could help 😃🙂👍 definitely subscribe for more detailing videos!
Alcantara is not leather, it’s fabric. I think better use a fabric detergent, gentle enough for alcantara
You should use whatever you are comfortable with 👍
@@STATUSDETAILI’m comfortable using bleach so I’ll use it. Thanks! Solid advice!
I wouldn't call this cleaning
What would you call it?
@@STATUSDETAIL he expects you to drench the entire interior with water lol
@@STATUSDETAIL Maybe reconditioning? idk I would just call it maintaining lol
@@Naeromusic maybe!
Alcantara is not leather its 100 Prozent Synthetik. Show us your seats in 1-2 years 🤭😉
I've been taking care of multiple cars with alcantara interiors for like 6 years lol
@@STATUSDETAIL ok nice so why you clean Alcantara with this Hard brush and leather cleaner

My 2001 still has very good alcantara so idk what's your point
My 2016 BMW has Alcantara seats which are like new because they’ve been looked after
