One consideration that @cruiseman experienced first-hand is when his bike was towed on a flatbed truck to a dealer, they removed it with a forklift. The TD bellypan protected his engine case without issue

It's amazing what the things I make are subjected to! And still survive!!! I once saw a Goldwing pulled up out of a 20' ditch by my Passenger Grab Rails... they should have broke off if you asked me, but there it was hanging in the air by a cable!

What you pay is what you get, i personally think the Traxxion one is the best in the market ... in terms of fitment, quality and durability.

Anybody with any metal working experience can see the Traxxion case guard offers the best pentration protection..the others are better than nothing, but the Traxxion case guard is hands down the best at protecting the engine from any unforeseen road hazard.

I also had a 1998 Aspincade and which had no lower engine protection. So the after market filled that need linke Traxxion, etc.

Rick is probably just buying from his supplier who are not engineers. I think because Max is a proper engineer, Rick should do a deal with Max to stock his pan. I am sure Rick wants to only keep products that are tried and tested and give his customers the best out there, so he should keep Max's products as well. #engineering #qualitycontrol #customersatisfaction

At the end of this, I'm going to send Rick a detailed list of how to make his pan better than the counterfeiters.

@Traxxion That's very generous of you Max. I still think that Rick should keep your wing products as well. The reason I say this is because of Shipping cost from the US. I am not sure about other countries, but for me, for example, I am in South Africa. I have bought from wingstuff before and they use UPS for Shipping. If I am shopping, it would be nice to order from a single place to save on Shipping cost, etc. ✈️🛒📦

I have the Wing Stuff pan. I did leave a review about the t-bolt hardware. Max you are right that it needs a fender washer added for the lock washer to seat correctly. I was able to install the back t-bolt with the bike on the center stand, no issue at all. I also didn’t have any issues with the front straps. I installed per instructions with the slotted end at the engine guard. Thanks for the comparison.

Honda has made the goldwing so cheap anymore from the engine cases being to thin that you need to put on aftermarket parts to prevent busting the engine cases ! Paying $30,000 dollars you shouldn’t need to spend the extra money to make it rideable ! I’ve had two 1500 goldwings and my 2008 1800 I won’t buy the new model as cheaply as there made !

For the record, everyone on a 2001-17 had to add a thin metal belly pan, to prevent road debris from breaking open the coolant overflow bottle behind the engine.

Just wondering why you didn't show yourself installing your own belly pan. It's obvious the quality of the pain is much better than the other cheap s*** just wondering why you didn't show it being installed

We did those in Part 1, but I didn't take the time to video tape the installation of my pan, because I already have video of it posted on TH-cam. Just use the search box and type: Traxxion Engine Case Guard Installation

A master craftsman operating a high end boutique business. This whole belly pan thing is crazy really. Beyond words. Thank you for the time and effort Max.

Truly, I wanted to know if our Guard was best, and if it was, by how much.

I'd like to think that there aren't that many $tupid people out there, but unfortunately there are. They buy a $30k + motorcycle and then put $10 aftermarket parts on it and expect it to be the best. Quality and craftsmanship...this is what Max gives at Traxxion Dynamics, the best in the market!!

Remember the old Bell Helmets slogan? "If you have a $10 head, wear a $10 helmet!!!"

Why would UTube ban your video for saying China (CCP).

    • @Traxxion
      @Traxxion  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

If anything can be seen as "hate speech", then it can "disappear". It only takes on "Fact Checker" or one CCP sympathizer to Report it as such. Just like there will never be any trace of "election fraood" ever mentioned again.

One thing that stands out to me on the ones with slots/holes besides making them flimsy. I know the "marketing" is that it lets water and debris flow out... but what they fail to mention is that it allows water and debris to flow IN first, and that is not good. However, on a solid plate, any gap along the side/back will let water and debris out should it find it way in.. Wind (air flow) and forward momentum will allow/make water exit. Why they feel the need to put slots/holes just goes against common sense reasoning, let alone common sense engineering.

The first version of the Wingstuff pan you had to bend brackets around the exhaust and a hole for the oil filter. This latest version still doesn’t work as well as the Traxxion Engine Guard. I don’t like ‘adjustable fitting’ stuff and the brackets still aren’t the best design.

    • @Traxxion

Almost guaranteed, that's the cause. I've never heard of a right grip moving.

I would even think this pan is worse than no pan...a road hazard could drive this cheap pan right into the engine...like shrapnel
