    Chris,
    Your seat and backrest look just like my Corbin. Is it, or another brand?

    That looks like garbage compared to the Traxion Dynamics version

      I’ve installed both Traxxion Dynamic and Wingstuff belly pan, it’s best to have some type of lower engine protection than having no belly pan at all regardless of how you think it looks. th-cam.com/video/tCAJMpKjRfo/w-d-xo.html

    Traxxion much better.

    Just an observation...wouldn't you put the front two support brackets with the adjustment part on the bottom? That would make it much easier to slide the belly pan up or down to get the best fitment to your motor right? Also if you look at those arms, when you have the adjustable side down, the R and the L are right side up...anyone tried it this way?

    Is this version 3 of the wingstuff pan? I have version 2 that doesn’t have the new side mounting tabs. It appears that this new version could be a touch thinner

    • @chriscaliente5033
      @chriscaliente5033  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The new design makes the process easier, the thickness is the same.

      I’m thinking that a shop would probably charge an hours labor for installation time but a guy with simple tools can install the Wingstuff belly pan in 10 minutes.

    Chris, you used a socket wrench on the right side and an open end wrench on the left. Any reason you couldn't use a socket wrench on the left side?

    • @chriscaliente5033
      @chriscaliente5033  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because it was very limited space on the left side, it was not enough space for a ratchet on the left. Removing the front lower cowl to install the long black brackets is more ideal for the installation but not required.

    On the right side you put the bolt thought the pan, bracket then nut. On the other side you did bracket pan nut. I think the right side looked better. Thank you for another great video.

      You are so Incorrect. I’ve been using belly pans for years and never had any heating problems. I’ve ridden from sun up to sun down beside the Wingstuff belly pan has vent cuts that run horizontally across pan for air flow, Honda Goldwing are liquid cool with dual radiators and fans.

    I must have purchased one of the last of the previous version a month ago. It appears they have tried to correct some of the poor fitment and design flaws of the previous pan. However, it looks like it’s still made of the same flimsy material. I’m very unsatisfied with the the previous version. I would not recommend it.

    • @chriscaliente5033
      @chriscaliente5033  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can’t please everyone none of the time! In my opinion the belly pan offers significant lower engine protection to prevent damage as things may fly up on the road as your passing by, the belly pan is not designed to be used as a impenetrable plate of armor.

    Hi Chris - bed idea because to change the oil filter of the gearbox and engine I have to dismantle this reptilian thing, and in addition it will suck in all dirt, leaves, etc.

    • @chriscaliente5033
      @chriscaliente5033  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Once you bolt the long brackets to the engine the removal process only takes a few second, just unbolt the two bottom Allen bolts and the rear single nut to drop the belly pan for an oil change. Only an idiot would unbolt the long mounting brackets from the engine to change the oil.
