Years ago, when I had a PC with Windows, I used Office Word. Got rid of that computer with it's Blue Screen of Death and move onto an Apple. Love my MacMini and, thanks to you, have realized that Pages is even better than Word. [word up]. Thanks for the great tutorial and reminder of some of command key functions for the alternate/enhanced menu.
I just got the go-ahead to design the quarterly newsletter for the Historical Society and I found your TechTalk America for Pages for Mac. I am so glad to have watched this video so I can start my first newsletter due April 1. Thank you

I appreciate your speed of speech and the enunciating, very important. I have a major gripe with many TH-camrs and that is they always sound the same, say the same things, talk really loud.... Great stuff. I'm a Project Manager and programmer so I need to document and track tasks, issues, things. I have been using FreeForm but I interface a 1 page Pages doc daily with my details. Thank you for a nice detailed but not too granular video. You are an amazing trainer.

I am a newcomer to Pages. I listened well enough to know that very little applied to me and what I need to learn. Many options on the drop-down menus were grayed out. I had questions about almost every sentence spoken by Mr. Cox. He assumed, I suspect, that we watching were beyond the elementary level. In my case that is not so. Also, it could be he was using a newer model Mac. My model MacBookPro didn’t appear to have all of the same menus. I got very little from this so-called tutorial.
Great video that got me up to speed on Pages in a flash. I'm a veteran of Windows and MS Word and am slowly getting used to my MacOs. I will go search for more of your videos to help in this transition.
I have the same question as others here. I watched the video (very good, thanks!) to learn how to shape the text around a picture. I still can't figure out how to do that.

I was looking at your video to figure out how to place photos, but what I really wanted was a nice library of icons. even better than what I was looking at online. I thought I knew most of this. nope. your vid just uped my game nicely.

For those old guys like me, it would help us follow better if you changed the cursor color in your videos from black with a white outline to something like red which would be much easier to see and follow. (That’s an old printers trick) Great video, I just subscribed.

I have used Word in Windows 10 [and now in windows 11], and have simply come to dislike the Windows document storage system. I have been thinking of switching over to Apple Mac, and I happened on your tutorial, and loved it for its clarity and presentation. So I might just switch over to Apple Mac now, except that the machines are quite expensive compared to machines using Windows. Thank you in any case, but here's a question I want to ask : I use foreign language softwares such as Urdu Inpage which works only in Dos based environmment. Question: Will I be able to install it on the Apple Mac system and make it work?
Brief, but substantive. I've avoided Pages nearly altogether because it's a whole 'nother world from Word, the lynchpin used by most. However, for at least simple documents and some templates, it might be the best alternative. Thank you.
