As a person who works with web development the processes are quite similar, preparing on paper before pixels, making a "handoff" template and then using it to actually build. I do this everyday and I did not think about this way of building. Your content is gold, and since steam's early access is available we'll see more and more people into tale spire, so I hope you keep doing this amazing work. Thank you!
Aha! I wasn't sure with your accent, mais tu es en effet Francophone! J'ai compris en voyant a partir de 7m, quand tu présente tes pages écrites a la main en Français 😁 Je viens de te découvrir, je viens de commencé ta série. J'apprécie que tu ai pris le temps de faire ces vidéos-ci! Merci!
The castle you built is absolutely amazing! Is the castle available on a slab site like Tales Tavern? Great work on the tutorial, it's been a major help!
@@istallri I found it, and also viewed the rest of your work on Tales Tavern. You do such amazing work; it's all excellent! I look forward to seeing more of your content in the future! Much love and thanks again for your help!
Ah indeed it was really interesting visually and gameplay wise, alas short lived. Though very glad that you recognized the mask, few of us know it! (And it is a magnificent piece imo.) I also have the Dishonored 2 mask and the Ghost of Tsushima one !
Hi, at 11:37 how to you select the whole tile? I always select an element of the tile, like only the floor or only the wood pilar. Ps: Nice guide Astra, I'm learning a lot from you

Thanks for wounderul tips! But one thing I don´t understand where you turing off the grid snap? It´s really annoying e.g. when it´s a gap between the outer wall and the door...
I'm using clipping, there is episode 7 talking about it, but you can't turn off the grid :) It is clever use of différent tiles, clipping and rotation to get such results. With a bit off habits and practice you'll get it :)
@@istallri I was trying to do the thing were you line up all the tiles and props that you are going to use and it just takes a while for me to copy and paste the ones I'm about to use I just thought there was a keybind I did not know about

Time to get back at these!
Yeh :D The 10th tutorial is being prepared :D

All my slabs and boards are available! Check Castle Wilhem if I remember correctly :)

great stuff any idea when this is being released for retail sales to the public....I Need this NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Currently closed beta, and early access on steam 'late this year', but development is tricky so don't hold it too much :)
Absolver mask, damn, a game I loved that died too quickly.
Ah indeed it was really interesting visually and gameplay wise, alas short lived.

I also have the Dishonored 2 mask and the Ghost of Tsushima one !
I was gonna ask if it was absolver mask. It's cool to see more fans of the game!
@@ohitscheft8871 Is it? The discord seems pretty active still and the subreddit.
@@DorakaiserVT it has a good fanbase for sure but the genral public lost it quickly alas :)

You can use the selection tool, the keyboard shortcut is"X" and can be rebinded in the options :)
bro is doing architecture shit, I literally learned about this in class
@@kaijurat well as long as what I'm saying makes sense ^^

Very helpful, thank you
Has camera work for dungeons or caves under large buildings been improved? Or do you still have to switch to a different board?
Camera has not changed, but we also build better to handle the camera so depending on the map it makes it more manageable :)

@@carolinegreen8266 Well the good news is that a new prop placement system will soon arrive! :D
Check out the latest kickstarter update for that ^^
A fellow Absolver! Do you still play perchance?
Alas not in a long while but very good eye to spot it! :)
It was such a nice game, and the collector mask is amazing!!
Where do I find this "foam board"? Did you just use grass?
In the 'nature' selection of the tiles :)
is there a way to copy the map to an other layer or how you did this
check episode 7 on how to share a map or check this timestamp on how to select/cut/copy/paste th-cam.com/video/FuCwvnp10ww/w-d-xo.html :)
How are you copying and pasting the tiles and props so fast?
Copy and paste shortcuts :)
And then you also get faster with practice! What are your issues? :)
