Knowing what to do and NOT to do when it comes to exercise during pregnancy and motherhood can be so challenging! Please let us know what questions you have for us, whether you're pregnancy, going through motherhood, or even a personal trainer working with pregnancy and new moms.

You guys are awesome for putting this conversation out there. As a new mom, I've been disappointed by the lack of information online, in books, and from my healthcare providers for postnatal healing and recovery. I've learned a lot from your videos about how to take care of myself in this phase of my life. Thank you!

Hi! I have 7 months baby and diastasis recti (2 fingers). Could you tell me if I can run? Is it safe activity in this situation?

Hi Monika. There is a lot of debate over running with diastasis recti. Do you have a prolapse as well? Leakage? I would say if you do NOT have leakage, you know how to engage your transverse abdominals and you are doing your diastasis recti exercises, you should be okay as long as you aren't pushing yourself. I would check with you doctor and read this: www.runnersworld.com/pregnant-running/why-ab-separation-happens-and-how-to-fix-it. Also, check out the other videos on my channel with DR exercises as well as my 4th Trimester Workout. It would compliment your running routine well: sarahaley.com/product/expecting-more-the-4th-trimester-workout/

What exercises should a woman do who already has diastasis recti and is newly pregnant?

I'd watch this: th-cam.com/video/QT4-dMmhYDY/w-d-xo.html. Also follow me on Instagram at instagram.com/sarahaleyfit. I'm 34 weeks pregnant right now and have had DR so everything I do is safe.
