This is a great safe, I bought mine close to a year ago! Great review too! Yeah, I’m not a huge fan of the door rattling either so what I did was take some small felt chair leg protectors and put them beside the rubber seal on the inside of the door, not directly on the seal.
10000% what I was looking for! Thank you! I am going to buy it today! I understand it’s not a $10k liberty safe but it’s made by liberty and does the truck better than more budget safes!
I just picked this up for $1045 it was a blemish model at TSS..Love the liberty 64 too in bronze almost wish i went with that but both are amazing values!
OUTSTANDING! An honest to God, no frills review. JUST what I needed. I was just sitting here for the past few hours trying to decide on a $1000 Canon 64 gun safe or this $1300 Revere safe... all from Tractor supply. I was truly leaning toward the Canon but one simple thing has turned me off. The paint is trash and comes off with the packing tape! I figured if something that simple is shabbily applied, what else is wrong with it? Honestly, I was concerned with the play in the door of this Revere but that seems to be insignificant, particularly with some gasket tape or something thick to put in the door frame like you mentioned. I seriously think I'm going with the Revere now. It is a bit too large for me but being able to EXPAND is the name of my game! Thanks a ton for the solid review!
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I wanted to make it as honest as possible. Also I ran into a similar situation. It didn’t help either I found no reviews of the liberty 72 Gun safe. Only thing turned me away from cannon was from people having issues with the electronic locks. I’m very happy with my choice.
@@thetruth45ful Well, it was bound to happen and sure enough, Mr. Murphy intervened. I had it all set up for the Revere 72, payment made and I was waiting on the invoice to be sent to me. Few hours went by and the only information I got was how the transaction could not be completed due to some kind of stock problem. Keep in mind, this is from my LOCAL TSC store but I'm doing this online, of course. Rather than wait for them to sort it out, I changed my mind and went with one that was actually IN stock and was a close first pick to begin with. I got the Liberty 1776 - 36 instead. It is a mite smaller but WELL more expensive, has a better fire and security rating. I was a bit disappointed but in the end, I think I probably ended up with a better model for what my needs are at the moment.
@@thetruth45ful Yeah, Liberty safes are great products. I just wanted to "buy American" and Liberty is made in Utah so I just had to go that route. However, I have heard, but not sure that the more 'budget' lines, particularly the ones made for TSC are all made in China. I hope that is NOT the case though. If money was no object I'd be all over a Fort Knox safe or perhaps a Presidential model from Liberty. I'd have more money invested in the safe than the things stored inside if I went that route though. :P
Reason I chose this vs the cannon, liberty backs their product and when I researched cannon people were constantly getting put on hold and hung up on, liberty all the reviews I seen is they give you a new safe most of the time and if they don’t have the current model usually they upgrade you
I was looking at these and the door rattle didn’t set well with me. But neither does $2,700 for a safe. I will probably get this one and put extra weather strip tape to fix the door rattle! Thanks for the review!
Hey thanks for watching the video! Also this model doesn’t have any adjusters unfortunately. I ended up not putting anything over my fire seal. I don’t go into this safe enough for it to bother me!
In researching Safes for about a month now Between TS Winchester or Cannon or Liberty Love the Made in USA label Big difference I see is the Locking Bars , while most Liberty Safes come with the 3/16 x 4” plates, This 64 has the Bolts But for the Price… heck on Libertys website a 24 Centurion is $1399 Seems like a No Brainer to me Thanks again for the Facts Only review.
Thanks for watching it! It definitely is a better bargain if you ask me. Especially if you can find one locally. My local dealer had them at $1600 at the time and they didn’t allow pickup only delivery which was another $150. They’re on sale right now for $1299 also!
Fantastic review . This really helped me make up my mind on purchasing this safe. Can you please send the links for the electrical kit and what tape you used to stop the door . Thanks

So since there is no keyhole for safe does the safe give you a warning or something when the batteries are low ? That’s the only thing scaring me away from this safe is if the batteries die and I have no way of getting into it with no key option. Or can you change battery from outside under key pad ?
The batteries are inside the keypad. Just twist the plastic cover and it comes off. The red light will flash to let you know it’s low to my knowledge .
Thanks for the review - considering this safe or the Cannon 64 gun safe $200. Cheaper, but I think this might be a slightly better safe in this price range. I have 3 other smaller safes, all from TS - I would to get replace the smallest with a big safe. Can never have too many guns or safes!
I agree 100% with never too many safes! Also the main reason I went with liberty is just from experience with them. I feel more comfortable if that makes sense.
Thank you for the video. Been. Looking to get a larger safe. How many rifles do you think it could actually hold? It appears you have 7 ars in there and seems pretty full on that side.
Awesome review! I just recent purchased the same safe and absolutely happy with it. I did not know that I would need the electrical outlet piece for it until after I had the safe put in place and started filling it. Was the hole for the electric outlet on the left side or right side of the safe and which kit did you have to get the 2” hole or the 3” hole?
@@thetruth45ful Thank you. I just got mine delivered yesterday. Bought it off a coworker for $800 after he won it in a raffle. He already has 2 safes, & no space for a third. Unfortunately, it cost me $450 to get it transported from where it was at location A, and then delivered to me and moved to a spot in my house at point B. They did a great job. I think I made the right decision to pay a moving company to go pick it up and transport it my my place cuz that thing was stupid heavy.
Was it difficult to install the power outlet ? Was everything pre cut perfectly to install? Just ordered safe it will be in March 26 and just order the outlet kit so I can hook up my golden rod and light kit
What kit did he say it didn’t come with? I kept replaying to see what he said but I can’t make out what he’s saying. Some kit he said that he bought online that the safe did NOT come with. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
I did not. The only thing you need is a drill, a drill bit, 3in hole saw, a knife or razor blade and a Philips screwdriver. There is a Template plate in the back on the lower right side you pop off

Most things are made in China. Unfortunately, some people can’t afford the American version that’s anywhere from $600-$1000 more than this. They have to start somewhere as far as securing their valuables.
Thanks for making the honest video review, much appreciated.
Your welcome and thanks for watching!

It was the right side standing in front and I did the 3’’ if I’m not mistaken
Did you ever put gasket tape? Trying to wonder if this moves that much is it rather having too much room where the bolts lock up once closed?
I did do the gasket tape and literally got rid of the slop in the door!
I didn't see on your video how far out the door swings open. Can you tell me how far out the door swings open?
Thanks for the video
The door swings open almost 180 degrees

Between 15-20 long guns. It’ll be tight but they’ll fit.

How many long guns can one actually fit in that safe?
I would say 25 comfortably and that’s using both sides. Max you can probably do is 40 and that’s with them on top of each other.
bad ass guns
Thanks! It’s still a baby collection lol
Does it have a backup key?
