Great Planes Dynaflite Series Super Decathlon with DLE55RA and Xoar 20x10 CF Prop.

In this video we explore the possibilities of using a DLE55RA 2 Stroke engine on the 89" Wingspan Great Planes Dynaflite Series Super Decathlon which originally was powered by a DLE30cc engine. The DLE55RA will be spinning a Xoar 20X10 carbon fiber prop. Because of ground clearance I could not use anything bigger without the possibilities of striking the prop during landings or takeoff. I also have a onboard digital Tachometer to get ground readings of the engine RPM also using throttle curves to smooth out the throttle while also dumbing down the power band throughout the curve at each point. Time stamp 0:26 thru 0:32 the tanks are located just behind the firewall. Two 14oz tanks on its side
