It's liberating to realize that the opinions of others do not define us, and that true fulfillment comes from being true to ourselves. Sadhguru's teachings remind us to focus on self-awareness and personal growth rather than seeking approval from others. I'm grateful for the insights shared in this video, as they serve as a powerful reminder to break free from the chains of fear and live a life guided by our own values and dreams.

Meditation and meditative music can be powerful tools for helping us let go of worrying about what others think. By quieting the mind and turning inward, we can gain a greater sense of self-awareness and self-acceptance, which can in turn reduce our need for external validation. Meditative music can further enhance this process by providing a calming and grounding backdrop that can help us stay focused and present. With regular practice, meditation and meditative music can help us cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace and confidence that allows us to be more comfortable in our own skin, regardless of what others may think

Where I live (small village) people have the greatest ability of telling others what they think about them and their actions. 😅😅
And above all, to classify it as 'this is bad' and 'this is good'.
We don't need to read minds.... People just throw their limitations on you and walk away.
"Very good" for spiritual growth or "very bad" when most people take these limitations as their own.
    😂😂😂😂😢😢😢
I try to smile and love them as they are, but I cultivate ridiculous ways since I was a child. 😂😂 So, if I don't fall down. I go out in pyjamas.... Now I am on with sadhguru and yoga 😮😊❤😂😂 they don't have to tell me. They think I am nuts they look at me with half smile or some ask with interest.

Fear of judgment and ridicule is a common experience that many people face in their lives. It can prevent us from expressing ourselves fully and living the life we want to live. Overcoming this fear requires effort and practice, but it is possible. Here are some tips:
    1. Recognize that everyone experiences fear of judgment and ridicule at some point in their lives. It is a natural human emotion, and you are not alone in feeling this way.
    2. Challenge your negative thoughts. Often, our fear of judgment is based on negative self-talk and assumptions about what others may think. Challenge these thoughts by asking yourself if they are based on evidence or just your own fears.
    3. Build your self-confidence. The more confident you feel in yourself and your abilities, the less you will be impacted by the opinions of others. Practice self-care, set achievable goals, and celebrate your successes.
    4. Surround yourself with positive and supportive people. Having a network of people who believe in you and support you can help boost your confidence and reduce your fear of judgment.
    5. Practice self-compassion. Be kind and gentle with yourself, and remember to treat yourself the way you would treat a good friend. Practice self-compassion can help you prioritize your own feelings and needs over the opinions of others.
Remember, overcoming fear of judgment and ridicule is a journey, and it may take time and effort. However, by practicing these tips and embracing your true self, you can find the courage to live a fuller and more authentic life.

    What Others Think
Once upon a time it was announced that a dog show was to be held and the top prize was set at $1000. But this was a special show because to win the money it required all ten judges to agree on only one dog as better than all the others. So through a process of elimination it came down to selecting the best dog out of the last two - one was a Border Collie and the other was a Golden Retriever.
Both were nice dogs and most of the audience wasn't able to tell there was anything special about them just by appearances. So to make them even more noticeable, the owners washed them and brushed their coats until they were shiny and smooth. They even tied colorful ribbons on them and brushed their teeth. Both dogs looked their best and they both wagged their tails and wiggled their butts when their owners would pat them on their heads.
And now the big moment had arrived and the judges examined the two dogs while the proud owners stood beside their pets. The judges cast their votes and the results were in. Half of the judges liked the Border Collie and half of them preferred the Golden Retriever. And no matter how much they discussed it, neither side could convince the other to change their votes. And so the contest ended in a draw with neither dog owner collecting the $1000 prize.
Once the two dog owners left the show they met outside in the parking lot to complain to each other how disappointed they were at the results. They talked about how they did so much work trying to win the approval of the judges and it was all for nothing. Then they unleashed their pets and immediately the two dogs ran off to splash and play in a nearby mud puddle. They seemed happy the show was over and they could finally have fun just being themselves again. They wagged their tails and wiggled their butts as they chased each other around in the dirty water.
The moral of the story is: Your happiness doesn't require the approval of others. Do what makes you happy, and if others don't approve of your choices that's their problem, don't make it yours. As the old saying goes, you can't please everyone, so just please yourself.
In this story the pet owners let the choices of others determine their happiness, but the dogs didn't care what anyone thought of them, they were happy just being dogs and doing what they loved to do.
So do what makes you happy and don't worry about what others think. This is an important thing to learn in life, especially for young people who often base their own happiness on the approval of friends.

Without watching the video yet to see Sadhguru's answer. I Would like to point out what i have noticed; we tend to create imaginations in our mind about certain situations. For example the situation that what will be the other person's reaction if you do certain thing or act certain way. The key thing to stop worrying what other people think about you is to cease to identify/living the thing that your mind tells you. We exaggarate things easily in our minds. I Belive all people have noticed this aspect for example in situation where you have started to imagine what will be the situation if you have done something wrong, something that feels to you as wrong.
And also if people would judge you, react negatively, in a non-friendly way it is in your hands how you relate to this situation. It's about how you relate the to your bodily response to the reaction of other - emotion, thought etc. What is up to you to decide is that do you identify with emotion or thought. I Tend to choose always not to react. I Have realized this only causes suffering. Attachment to your mind's movements mostly causes sufering or exaggareting of the reality of the existing situation.
Summary; you consicoussly can shape your experience of reality by not identifying with the movements of your mind/not starting to live your innerworld (thoughts, emotions).
You can apply these to all sorts of cases.
Hope this sheds some light on how our reality experience is basically construction of mind.
    Serenity and conscioussness,
    Teemu Nuutinen
Bonus: Little by little you start to realize that ego is just a thought. I Have noticed good way to observe your mind is in meditation practice. What worked for me was zazen-meditation.

One's own estimation about self is far more important than what others think about it ! Because, one can't cheat oneself and one's own conscience ; provided, ofcourse, someone has any ! How right was the great Napoleon Bonaparte in his assessment in saying -
"Men may treat me unjustly ! No matter - so long as I am innocent ! My conscience is the tribunal - before which I judge my conduct ! And, my conscience is untroubled !"

. . Let it be very loud and clear that my comment was meant for the channel operator, alone ; and certainly not for one's foot soldiers and cronies ! Does someone hold a brief for the channel operator ! Or does it require someone's prior permission to participate in its various programmes ! If so, I am quite oblivious of it ! Can someone take pains to share it with the viewers in this august forum itself for their knowledge and information anytime soon or in the immediiate future ! Is that understood ! Someone should better understand it !
I do hereby challenge someone to master the necessary courage/guts to come out of the veil of secrecy behind a pseudonym and reveal one's real face and true identity, without mincing any further word, and, without ever trying to dodge/deviate from giving a direct response ; and, share it with the viewers in this august forum itself for their knowledge and information anytime soon or in the immediiate future ,; provided, ofcourse, someone is not otherwise a coward ! Is that understood ! Someone should better understand it !
How right was William Shakespeare in his assessment in saying - "Cowards die many times before their death ,; but the valiants never taste of death but once !"
To get optimum satisfaction as also to ascribe some semblance of authenticity to it, someone should better put this question to one's own conscience ! Because, conscience never lies ; provided, ofcourse, someone has any !
It seems - someone, who has lost the morale courage to speak directly, now finds it expedient to indulge in a soliloquy, instead - completely out of context ! How disgusting it looks !
The answer is very much implicit in the narrative, itself ! What's absolutely required is - proper application of mind ! However, it's an altogether different issue, if someone feigns ignorance intentionally ! How right was the great Lao Tzu in his assessment in saying - "The truth is not always beautiful nor beautiful words the truth !"
Ioften wonder - why does some people make a mockery of themselves by evolving stories out of nothing ! I very much pity someone's stupidity and abysmally low level of intelligence, although one pretends to be so smart ! Even a person of average intelligence can very easily understand that similar questions merit similar responses !
Has someone been invited to come and poke one's nose here ! What else is someone doing here ! Why does someone poaching here ! Perhaps, leg - pulling and back - bitting is someone's favourite pastime ! Propriety demands that there should be a limit to hypocrisy.!
Infact, it's the other way round ! Someone, who's really a so - called "Nonsense,' and has perfected this obnoxious art through practice over the years, finds one's own reflection in everyone, whenever one ventures to look at others ! Someone might have seen one's own image in the mirror, prior to writing this comment ! How farcical and hypocritical it looks !

Hey Amit, sorry my involvement here. But you don't need Sadhguru to answer this question because it's been answered by him numerous times.. read his Inner Engineering book.
Anyway the answer to your question is 'Absolute Involvement'. Do not pursue something to taste success as a result, instead pay absolute attention in whatever you are trying to achieve on a daily basis and eventually your intrinsic involvement in that activity will open the doors to success, you don't even have to run behind it.
