As a Hathaway's Flash fan I can confirm that the Gustav Karl looks like the result of throwing a GM and a Zaku II in a blender, the Xi Gundam looks like a dorito, the Penelope looks like a chicken and the Messer looks like the child of the Kampfer and the Jagd Doga.
Gustav Karl & Messer are fine (anime versions). they fit in what has been established before and I didn't even realize Gustav Karl was a HF when first shown in Unicorn. Xi and Penelope are just why I think both in and our universe people decided to go small like the F90 project and eventually Victory just to avoid design creep to end up with those 'things'.
As a Unicorn Gundam fan, I will admit that I do like the recent kits. But the RG’s is where it’s at. I already have the Perfectibility and I’m getting the Banshee and Full Armor soon. My plan is to also get the Phenex and make a display will all four of them. It’ll looks really nice
Just watched Hathway today and God DAMN was it good, music was great, mobile suit designs weren't that bad compared to what we could have gotten, sound quality was the best and highly recommend anyone give it a shot whether a full Gundam fan or not. ❤️
the fights were great, except the ending shot , it's a very good movie on visuals and seeing how MS fights feels for a random citizen in the middle of two giants, but damn I was annoyed by how you end up not getting any intel on what the hell happened to Hathaway and how he ends up in this mess or why he became a terrorist. The gundams were just thrown coz the show is named that way , we had no build up toward them
