Looks like fun! Ther are also a couple of models for submarines that use that same kit on Maker World. DSV Bambu Kit 010 Submarine and DSV Bambu Kit 010 (remix) from atm473
Looks like a fun kit. I just checked and the motor is $5 which is reasonable, but shipping is $7, so will see if I need spare parts. I just received over $100 in parts, so probably OK for now. I had to replace my first stage feeder on the AMS, now have spares, and it seems to be working.
Just got my BL printer and am printing this now, currently on the second plate. Any idea why it creates the seemingly unnecessary extra block tower in the back? It didn’t make that for the bottom (plate 1) so i’m not sure what the purpose is for it, seems like a big waste of filament.
Welcome to Bambu Printer world! It is a purge tower for when it does a color change. It will automatically appear anytime you have a print that has more than one color. It does create waste but it helps the the nozzle get the pressure adjusted before it continues printing. You can make it smaller. But I wouldn't recommend removing completely. Thanks!
Maybe use a rubber band or hair tie and tie the motor so it stays in the center, but can still move a little?
Oh that's a good idea!

Haha that whale is pretty cool! I didn't even think to see what people remixed them already! Thanks!

Oh yeah that's a good point. Best as an add on. Thanks!
Glue the motor with superglue so it only goes straight, tun to see
True. There really isn't any reason to have it turn. Thanks!

That's a strange design. The rotation of the spring will cause it to spin to one side. And makes the boat spin in place
It definitely does spin. I assumed it was something I did. Thanks!
TH-cam algorithm! I asked for 3D PEN videos not 3D PRINTER videos! Either way great video
Haha! Thanks for watching!
