Installing the two NOCTUA fans does not really help with temps on your GPU or CPU in a liquid cooled R10, the reasons being; your cpu is liquid cooled so air is not blowing directly on the CPU. If anything is going to help with that it’s push/pull on the radiator. Even then it’s not going to make a significant difference. The GPU already had a fan running on it before so this is likely not to change. By adding an additional fan to the HDD bay, we are circulating air to the ram, Vrm, ssd, and the mono itself. This will help with performance and thermal issues for the mono itself but temps with the cpu and GPU will basically stay the same unless of course you have air cooled systems.

“Mobo”, not “mono” sorry about that 😁

@@kronichgc how is it with loudness though, does it still sound like a jet taking off?

No it’s actually been very quiet and fans don’t ramp up as often because cooling has been very good. Adding that extra fan in the hdd bay really helps. The only fan that is loud right not is the top radiator fan and that’s because I haven’t done the mod for push pull yet. I will be doing that mod soon as well as replacing thermal paste on the cpu. My temps have been amazing so far though. For a ryzen 9 5900 that usually runs warm. I haven’t exceeded 75 degrees on a very heavy load so I feel addding the push pull will benefit but only about 5 degrees. The noctuas are not loud under load. They can get a whining noise under intense load but nothing like stock dell fans. I recommend doing this mod if you don’t like the noise of the stock fans

@@kronichgc ive ordered two i have just gotten an aurora r10 with the same cpu and water cooler thats why i asked. also what gpu did you get with that thing, tell me you got the rtx3090 with sale they were doing

@@portersherman9893 I wasn't able to get a 3090 at the time. I wish i would have but at the point i purchased mine it would have been another 1,000$ more so i just went with a 3060ti. I will be upgrading soon once nvidia comes out with its 4000 series. I can probably get one for pretty cheap then. I'm glad you got a R10 with those specs though because they are trying to force the R14 on people and you would have had to pay an extra 1500 for a case and whatever they call extra cooling.
