They could make a snapshot of the server, copy it during maintenance and open a second fresh pvp server -> give people the choice where they want to play their chars -> if one dies just merge them in a couple of months.
Here is another point i forgot to make, if i wait 7 hours to get into a queue and then get d/ced for some odd reason because things happen. Then i have to wait another 7 hours to get back in. Thats not going to work for raids either.
That’s what we ended up doing. It’s the issue of Blizzard not wanting to fix the problem and forcing us to move even though we pay money every month to play the game.
Remote Desktop works for some people. I work out of town a lot with no service so it’s hard for me to utilize that software. It shouldn’t have to come down to that though. People shouldn’t have to go out of there way to play the game they pay for and love.

Very good point. It’s just nonsense that blizzard does not want to offer any other solution but creating new dead servers.
It’s funny cause that’s pretty much exactly what they did yesterday when they launched the new fresh server
