Oh, this vid is a nostalgia bomb for me. I also used an Knife+Dual Guns build to take down Telethia. However, since my build wasn't nearly as optimized as yours, the fight lasted around 9 minutes lol. You can be sure that I popped off after my first win

Not at all they've already said it would be to difficult and costly to port it to the switch, this is one of the worse xenosaga games in the aspect it lost players extremely fast due to no tutorials and bad combat system.

Also my friend who’s actually good at the game unlike me informed me I targeted a plus 3 appendage on pharsis which is why my damage was less on it so target a different one to probably one shot it

I really love the "everything is broken" approach in Xenoblade X, was a lot of fun to play around with. Between my brother and I, we have probably ~500 hours put into X. And it's been over a year since I've played it, so now is a great reminder to start a replay lol
Just FIY this is the fastest setup to build to sweep everything. Actually you don't even need to grind for any equipment to make this build and defeat everything! (Well you might want ~20 minutes of gtind for the superbosses) but hey that's it!
from what i've played (ether longsword) and seen, anything ether based in this game seems like it can be made game breaking.
On the torso, you can use the Sakuraba armor with Aura Rapid Cooldown. With a Potential Up augment of course. But as you said, it is useless against enemies you kill in one or two hits.
yeah I don’t have an optimal build here for gradivus or consistent dps. My only real dps gear is for nemesis stuff

They are working on something new right now it might very well be an enhanced port or even a sequel. We can only hope.

Sup Enel xeno X was my first xeno game and gosh did i liked it u need to make more build for X like each weapons/combos everything keep it up
Elma is already FMJ class. My main character learnt it but main is now focused in Duelist. Blast Fencer is another class I like.

I love this game, when you understand how it works you can pretty much build around and use any weapons
Though if this game ever get a port on switch i would love a tweak to some of what in japan was the dlc content, like the Sheriff skell, i wish there was a higher lvl version, or the Multigun, that only had 4 arts

Hmm, I was thinking of a build similar to this but focusing on Ranged attack up instead of Overdrive count? Is Ranged attack really useless when using TP arts? Never knew

so all classes need is 3 things, ghost walker, potential gain/boost/up, and overdrive combo.

all I care about is the fact that I specifically remember having almost the exact same art and skill build on celica, minus the skills that she doesn't have. This adorable girl just ghostwalker's through an entire universe while using executioner and cleaning house.

I started a new save file recently and I will try to get this gear asap so that I may kill everything.
I remember sinking sooo much time into X, but I couldn’t beat the last chapter and I just lost interest. But I really didn’t understand a lot of the mechanics... maybe I should restart my game, I’ve always thought about going back and replaying.
But dear lord... it’s such a huge game
I'm looking at the farming resource in the description but I'm not sure where to grind for the drops. Is there a resource for that or am I just blind and not looking in the right section. In particular I just wanna know where to grind for the dual guns. Thanks for the vid! It def got me interested in picking up X again to mess around
Edit: nvm I'm a dumbass and didn't know how weapon drops worked. I am curious though what your weapon/armor grinding strat was since I bet it's better than rando Gamefaqs poster
basically just one shot them with a skell attack and then return to skell and do it again
I like executioner and blossom dance builds but Gatling gun vs gradivus tickles my pickle
Let's hope Monolith Software don't 'fix the broken mechanics' when they decide to bring this game to the Switch.

Enel, do you mind in doing a video about breaking the combat of Xenoblade Chronicles?
I strugle to understand the combat of the first game and I don't know in what equipaments, skills and gems to defeat the super bosses.
Agility Up, Topple Plus, Night Vision for Shulk, Melia, Reyn, Fiora, and Dunban.
Double Attack and Haste for Shulk and Fiora. Dunban may benefit from them too.
Dunban can critheal with Critical Drain. Link that skill to Shulk and Fiora.
Ether Up, Poison Plus, Chill Plus for Riki and Melia. Burn Plus for Riki as well.
This is probably the game I know the least about as far as combat and I haven’t played it in a few years at the least. May not be the best help here.

Which party members would you say that are the broken ones? Besides Fiora that I know that is really broken.
Narumi Mori i used a shulk, riki, and dunban team in my playthrough, but fiora with final cross is deadly. Also topple locking kinda trivializes most things in xc1

I thought that would be interesting and helpful if your channel had a guide of tha combat of all Xenoblade game, but the first one has a overwhelming combat system and customization, I think this is the reason why people doesn't fully understand the combat of the first game.

Shame there wasn't an option to shoot him and Lin the first time she tries to defend him. Then only Tatsu would be there on the stupid scale, but he is harmless.
Why do you have appendage crusher augments with core crusher on? Doesn't core crusher make appendage damge not work?
appendage crusher increases your damage when targeting appendages by lowering enemy appendage tiers. Core crusher makes appendages unable to be destroyed by ether attacks. They actually have amazing synergy
How about a photon blade build?
Do you need 900 potential to kill super bosses? I'm struggling to get gear that puts me past 500-600, I also like having arts gain tp for my potential builds. If played right i assume I could still kill these superbosses with enough practice. Any feedback you give is greatly appreciated.
By no means. This is just a super-optimized variant of his build--even if you're not too keen on grinding for "perfect" equipment, you can still kill the Superbosses pretty easily. It'll just take a bit more time to fully deplete the enemy's HP is all.
Also: in Overdrive, Purple Arts will give TP when used--1000 per hit at Max Count. When you start to get really good at Overdrive, having at least one multi-hit Purple Art kind of negates the need to Arts: Gain TP (but you can still use them until you get there, or even use them both together for ridiculous amount of TP). I'm not sure if you really care, but it's just something I wanted to say.

Hi I started Xenoblade Chronicles X 4 days ago and i was asked to choose a division. I picked the curators division but what do divisions do and what is the best division (if there is one)?
basically just determines what actions give you more blade points. The best division depends entirely on what you plan to in game.

Alex Vrambout if u love fighting monsters especially uniques then go for harriers, it also gives u melee atk bonus
Remember that you can change divisions at anytime if you don't like your current division
Pathfinder is best for the story, then Harriers for postgame.
This game really needed a Switch Port a long ass time ago. Since it would never get a Steam release.

@@RedDNA Look on the "Armor" page for what gear can get the traits you want, then look on the "UI Armou Drop Table" for the enemy that drops that brand of gear, go farm the ones it says drops the light version.

@@SlimekingYT The end boss on XC2 isn't as hard as the boss on XCX. If you understand the arts and the power of TP, then doing a speed run with only 3 characters to the end boss is rather jaw dropping.
You've got to know the game inside and out.

Doesn’t another enemy spawn in the Gradivus fight? Because I didn’t see it. Maybe you killed it quickly.

@@EnelXC I just looked it up and the wiki says it can spawn a parasite gerrid. But I didn't see it spawn during your fight. xenoblade.fandom.com/wiki/Gradivus,_the_Headless_Emperor
@@MrAgility888 That enemy is summoned every 2 minutes. If you see it you are taking longer than 2 minutes. If you don't, you are killing Gradivus before 2 minutes is up. Hope this helps/

I really like X and it's really cool how your still making videos for it but I have to say this video is a great example of why Chronicles 2 has a better combat system. Good builds in X always feel so cheesy like your cheating the game whereas high level XC2 play feel much more balanced and engaging. For a game where you have so many options and arguably far too many different character stats it's humorous how only a few are ever relevant. I hope X gets an awesome sequel someday with a better balance combat system.
