@@creeperizak8971 It increases the effect of TP arts. (ie more healing, more damage) Its exponential I believe so having 100 Potential isn't much but 500 is crazy

@@piousaugustus84 Always had something on my mind about breath of the wild, which went full ejectable chair when they saw that wii U was a flop and instantly went on switch. Never really figured why xeno didn't do the same, probably lack of fund.

It could really do with an overhaul, especially controls and general gameplay mechanics, maybe get the loading times down too. Having gone back to it recently it's definitely showing its age. Definitive Edition feels better to play than X even though DE is based on an older game.

This was the one build I saw and thought, "wow, that's way too strong, I don't want that"
It's really funny that you've started doing X videos recently, cus I just booted up the game again for the first time in a while, just a couple weeks ago
I’ve always wanted to see builds based around weapons I don’t often see, like Sniper rifles, gatlings, shields, knives, and spears.
I’m not the most experienced with a lot of these, but gatling is definitely another I can do!
@Bamichinees Psycho Launchers besides Dual Guns is the only ranged weapon with actual defense, however they need attribute resistance augments since if you have a certain amount of attribute resistance you take very little damage, Psycho Launchers best art damage wise is gravity lunge but it can't benefit from core crusher so it's kinda mediocre damagewise. Dual Swords do have decent TP scaling but that's mostly because it has 2 decent TP arts Dual swords best trait is that it is the only melee weapon that gives crit power, blood sacrifice is handy too for if you don't have TP augments. Purely TP Scaling wise 1st Gattling 2nd Sniper 3rd Longsword 4th Dual Guns (this is without taking into account bonuses from combo and the like) Longswords is mostly the strongest due to Offensive Stance being the only aura that's an independent multiplier. I personally like Photon Saber/Dual guns because you don't need alot of augments with essence exchange and for defense you have reflect and ghostwalker so you have alot of freedom buildwise.
Sniper + knife with sleep based gimmick is also really powerful if you just want to use Gradi as punch bag.
I remember when I was playing I could do something like 65M with 1 Afterburner on Gradi which is, I think, a bit stronger than Blossom Dance solo build.
Blossom still remain unmatched for slaying highly resistant tyrant like Nardacyon the Shadowless. Offensive stance and Blossom Dance's Resistance denial are just too OP.

I was preparing myself for this build almost 2 years ago and decided to come back to this awesome game. Currently farming the Spatha and damn! That thing is hard to get. I got everything right except for the Overdrive count on the Nebulons and Gear, the Spatha itself and I think one of the arms. Still managed to solo Gradvius (without one hitting him of course) but this Video is the most helpful when it comes to explaining how this build works.
Just let me thank you again for your perfect explanation dude. Not many people go into much detail but you took every bit and explained it ALL.

I really enjoy seeing people either get back to playing or continue to play this game. This game is simply amazing and my favorite game of all time. I'm praying to God above that this game will find new life on the Switch one day. The Wii U held back this games potential in regards to sales and bringing this game to the Switch would be great. 5 years late but love this game and I used your earlier builds for mastermind and full metal Jaguar. I'm a bit of an adventurer I like to try and finish most side quests first before finishing the main story. I didn't even realize I did so much with my adventuring lol.
Just got hit by nostalgia and wanted to redo the game from the beginning. I knew there was an infamous build but forgot the details then saw this video. Never expected an update to it after all these years, so this was a blessing to see.

I Always wanted to do that stuff Back then but I never found a decent Guide for the Farming of the items. Also I never got enough miranium capacity for the Ares probably because of a few left Out Mission even though I sidequested the Shit Out of the Game xD
I would love to See a more Story focused Sequel one day or an official Connection between X and the Main series (No, XC2 DLCs doesn't Count! Cx)

Bro. You saved me the research time. I just recently tried to play the game I had it 3 years ago but to young to understand anything. So I started a new game. I'm chapter 12 now an still got a million questions. I hope to see more like how to farm tickets or where to farm the weaps and skell weaps
hah restarted X for fun now, def going to be following this to do even better than i did back then (had the old blossom stuff) and some weird builds where i could afk and the bosses killed itself

I had nostalgia from listening to the ost, and felt the dopamine as i remembered build crafting and how op is ghostwalker. So here i am, looking at op build from the past. I remember watching someone perma sleep and oneshoting most ennemies too. Pretty rad stuff that air walking lol

Just beat Xenoblade X last month on the off chance it ends up being connected to the main series after Future Redeemed.
Came RIGHT back to this video to start my endgame grind after getting Ares 90.
Rocking 708 Potential atm! Can't kill any of the superbosses yet but some minor gear changes to get those Overdrive Count Ups should do the trick.

update, matched your gear almost perfectly (minus some weapon attack ups) and now if i upgrade my potential boost traits i will now have your exact build. you're a godsent enel

After 30 defeats & an unknown number of runaways/out of range. I have final defeated The Endbringer, and have completed Xenoblade Chronicles X. I used Ultrad Nebulan Dyads with Pot Boost xx & Pot Up xx traits and the augments (Arts: gain TP xx, night vision xx, and nullify ether reflect xx), Bewitched Glave: Receding Rust traits ( null phys reflect xx, WEAPON ATTACK POWER UP XX, melee thermal res down xvii) with augments ( WEAPON ATTACK POWER UP XX, and 2 Apendage Crushers), armor is mostly potental up& boost with Overdrive count up, max TP up, and the augments for the gear was 2 anti spike XX & 3 potental ups. My final time was 299:47:23.

This game is so slept on. I'm still playing it even though I have Xenoblade 2, and I'm still figuring out new builds. I found a glitch with the Verus Skell where the smell completely disappears along with the player. I can't replicate it, cause I think it's due to positioning, enemy damage attribute and player level. Please do more on Xenoblade X!
xc2 was my introduction to the xenoverse. im currently playing x with 670hrs invested. i had not once fired up my wii u until i started this game that i bought used for 12 bucks.
I've been getting back into Xenoblade X again, and when I see what kind of damage one can do in this game, I can't help but wonder if this game is the reason Xenoblade 2 has a damage cap.

Can't get my potential over 500, and you have the absolute PERFECT weapons that would take a week to grind for. So far I'm hating it because to maximize my Potential I have to sacrifice everything else like HP, unless I have near perfect gear like you. I do have one good helmet with Potential Boost & Potential Up, everything else I have isn't better than store bought when it comes to potential.
I feel like at the end of my giant grind to one shotting the most powerful enemies in the game, I'll need to switch to Receding Rust's little brother, Blood Dance, just to nerf myself enough so that I still enjoy the combat itself when Im not fighting Telethia Plume or Yiggralith Zero. Maybe I'll get to perfecting Zipzo's topple shadowrunner build after that.
Ughhhh I hate getting Nagi's affinity up to access the mission to unlock blossom dance. Been doin tonsss of affinity mission and the 3rd heart has taken forever... still not finished ;-;
I know I'm 5 months late but what I do is just do sidequests. Simply doing every sidequests between chapter 7 and 9 got a full party tk 5 stars

there some crazy builds in this game if you take 2k hours play time literal made a 1300 potential build with 700 melee damage with rust now i need to finde the best skell farm spots

You can also switch your class to drifter so that you are able to have 5 skill slots, and are able to use all the skills from other classes.
Its not worth it in this case
That is known but Mastermind with 4 skills out damages Drifter with 5 skills a lot of the time due to the extra 60% base potential whereas Drifter only has a 50% addictive skill left that's useful and that's only a 7% damage boost.

I didn’t mean it as a slight. That video was released right around the time the game came out with very limited knowledge of the mechanics. I have some pretty bad videos on two from a similar time period as well but I’ve basically revised all of them at this point

What are the enemies who drop the armour and the dyads?
I remember watching that video and then Zipzo's video about when they came out. I was so amazed by how difficult it had to be to do that. Then I realized it's not difficult, but I still have difficulty doing it well. But I'm learning now that I am back into the game.

What is the easiest way to tell when your aura and buff effects expire? Are they only visual on your character, such as Ghostwalker’s white mist visual effect, or can you see a timer or meter somewhere else?
They will display the buff/aura icon next to your name on the left, cycling through all the different ones you have. The only way to tell for certain is to count down the duration in your head, but when the buff expires the icon will as well, or in some cases you can tell (e.g. lose ranged accuracy buff = you start missing attacks etc)
I know you get weapons from feliciano but where do you farm the armour? I already got the headgear with double potential from just killing luciel, is there a better alternative?

Oh hey its the build but actually as nutty as advertised instead of taking a while to kill the 100mil guy with. Whats the reason for the sword aux cores being appendage based? I thought core crusher negates those
It negates damage to appendage HP, it doesn't affect primary damage - primary damageis influenced by appendage crushers. It doesn't work with Ranged Appendage Damage/Dismemberer skill etc because that affects appendage HP not primary HP. As a result we can get to a -5 app level and with Core Crusher, obtain an independent multiplier of 6.25, before we even look at Aura Assault or Offensive Stance.
Ah gotcha. That makes much more sense than the ol dmg up xx :D

Can anyone tell me how do you swap arts? If I choose Mastermind class, I can't pick a lot of arts from this build!
A month late, but whatever. You can only choose arts based on your equipped weapon, and until you hit rank 10 on a class like mastermind or full metal jaguar (the classes at the far right of the class tree) you can only use a class’s weapons while in that class. So, if you’re a mastermind, you can’t use a long sword unless you already maxed out the class that uses longswords. But, once you do max out a class, you can use their weapon (and by extension arts) while in any other class.
Question: Does Blossom Dance negate the Reflect attributes of Goh'ra, the Sun Deity?
you need nullify ether reflect for that and telethia for reflect effects like that

So i'm grinding for the Ultra Infinite Ward R and got one with Overdrive Count up, should i stop there or keep grinding for one with Overdrive Count + Melee ATK UP? Does Melee ATK UP even affect the damage for this build?
Melee attack up does nothing for TP arts.

@@So_nyaBlade It does, but its not the best choice for most weapons. Only worth using as a 5th/6th weapon trait on very high attack power weapons, and after you've considered stuff like Ether/Slayer XX, or SCR XX etc.

@@So_nyaBlade Potential Up will be enough for endgame content. Weapon Attack doesn't do much for the Spatha (at least compared to Rust) anyway.

You should've fought Leva'El the Terminus! there are many alternative ways to fight Telethia, Pharsis, and Luxaar's Xern on foot, but being several hundred thousand kilometers above an ocean to fight Leva'El is impossible without sky high or vortex (javelin art)

Have a full party of people who use longsword and have yourself on the duelist class, find durvin the perceptive in primordias beast lair and kill it over and over. It can only drop weapons and having everyone equipped with longsword as well as yourself on duelist gives you the highest chance to get them as drops

This is all fun and great, but y'all ever try a Servant Sacrifice build? 50% of the time, it works 100% of the time.
Not on Tyrants, unfortunately. It's a great way to power-level but that's about all it's useful for, sadly.
@@d3-ll754 Oh, don't flatter it. It's a gimmick build that can only really work reliably on lone, non-Tyrant enemies. It's _really_ fun, but it's no great way of doing anything.

It just requires 3K TP to activate, so you can activate it again with that

a lot of things tbh, ultra diamond weapons can be dropped by certain tyrants late game
Got any builds that actually involve using your party members? The only one I know is the "Best Ally" build.
Party members in the postgame are only good for providing you a buff or particular soul voice, then dying. The alternative is either adjusting your build to include Ghostfactory, Smooth Recovery, or a bunch of attribute resistance buffs, or grinding extra attribute res/eva gear for the party.
@@Abarax The build I mentioned wasn't a post-game build and exist for getting through the game with minimal grinding (Just max TP augments and shop gear). It relies on Defensive Stance and Last Stand in an Duelist infinite overdrive build meant to make you a near unkillable TP battery Tank for your AI party members so they can keep Overdrive and actually contribute to a fight without dying (they do refresh Overdrive on their own most of the time when they have enough TP). The name "Best Ally" comes from Xenosaga because you are also the guy reviving party members on the off chance they get killed. Of course, you can also load up on Melee/Potential augments to do damage via Blossom Dance/True Stream Edge/etc. if you really want to grind for them (the defensive stance damage nerf becomes irrelevant at a high enough overdrive count). It also doesn't take up all the art slots so there is flexibility to add other arts.
Obviously you can grind for better gear/augments but I never saw the point when I just wanted to kill some tyrants and get through the game.
@@brokenm8950 Literally never heard of that build before. If it was during the story, I guess I would control Elma with Ghostfactory (she can maintain infinite overdrive very early with Blood Sacrifice and her FMJ kit), or Irina (who can also do infinite OD with smooth recovery and furious blast, and has Last Stand and decent TP regen from purple arts), to keep the rest of the party going.
@@Abarax Irina gets one-shotted easily though so I don't find myself using her. L works better as the party healer with anyway. You don't need to worry about TP restarts after your counter hits 50. At this point either Green or Blue arts will be enough to refresh the Overdrive effectively.
You can still have infinite Ghost Factory with Elma without controlling her. She's in overdrive and always has max TP due to repeated Last Stands from the build I mentioned. She also heals effectively with Soul Voice if you give her C&C gear due to the default potential augments (the debuff suppressors do well too).
You can add Lin's Shield Wall for extra party protection. Lin will also actually use Trash Talk in overdrive against single enemies which is a plus (Give her heavy armor and that HP regen aura and she'll survive most fights). Depending on the enemy, she'll topple lock with Wild Down but it isn't reliable enough IMO.
I bring those two up specifically since all the story missions call for them. Just makes sense for a story build to use them.

Drifter is better u can use the 20% eather passive skill bones which increases all dmg done by eather so your attacks can hit much harder

@@milamaxwell1731 You either can't read or don't know what you are talking about, likely both. There is a 20% potential boost skill (Inner Search), or a 50% additive ether damage skill (Ether Boost). I would suggest going back and maybe pausing the video or slowing it down so you can see it better. In this case however, Inner Search was the correct choice for a higher damage output - it might vary in other situations. In general, Ether Boost and the other attribute counterparts are among the worst skills in the game, when for damage you should always pick the massive multipliers, and then the combo or position ones (Supreme Sword, Combo Gunner, Night Vision, Background Noise etc) since they are higher, or for more sustained damage, pick the utility skills (Secondary Accelerator, Fast Forward, Trigger Happy).

They are really good augments because they lower defensive tier of the enemy so you can do massive damage
