On the note of red paint. If there was one paint option I never knew until I saw it on a WRX STI PDF: It was a paint colour called Lighting Red. Apparently; at a first glance it can look the same as Pure Red but under direct sunlight you can see it's brighter than Pure Red. Not sure why such paint colour was discontinued for Ignition Red.

I can't say that I've seen Lightning Red in person, but it sounds nice. I'm not sure why manufactures change the colors in different models/years - they discontinued CGK on the Crosstrek, which was by far the most popular color available! Like 80% of our Crosstrek orders were CGK because of the popularity.

The 'Onyx' heritage all have Turbo motors. A non-turbo car is not an Onyx edition, Subaru. Man, did the cool people retire from Subaru or what's happening with product development.

Only 1 of the three Onyx trims available here in Canada have the Turbocharged motor, and that's in a vehicle where a NA engine isn't offered.
With a quick Google search, I couldn't find anything about the 'Onyx heritage' - could you fill me in on the history of the Onyx trims?
