    Cargo ships are essential for global trade, transporting goods and products across the oceans to different parts of the world. In this fascinating video, we reveal the little-known facts about cargo ships that will leave you amazed.
    We start by exploring how the size of cargo ships has grown tremendously over the years, with some of the largest ones now able to carry over 20,000 containers. The shipping industry is responsible for around 90% of world trade, and cargo ships are the backbone of this industry, carrying goods such as food, clothing, electronics, and even cars.
    Despite their importance, cargo ships also have a dark side - they are one of the major sources of air pollution, emitting large amounts of greenhouse gases and other harmful substances. We delve into this issue and explore what is being done to mitigate the environmental impact of cargo ships.
    The life of a sailor on a cargo ship can be both rewarding and challenging. We take a look at what it's like to live and work on a cargo ship, including the long periods of time spent away from home and the constant threat of piracy and other dangers.
    Join us on this captivating journey as we uncover the secrets of cargo ships and their vital role in the global economy. Don't forget to hit the like and subscribe button for more informative videos.

    I served on 3 ships back in the 1960s, haven't been back to sea since 1969. Your videos and ship tours, like this one, are very enjoyable to me. I was an electrician and stood my watches in the engine rooms, but had the run of the ship because every space had electrical gear. Favorite memories include going up and fixing the aircraft warning lights (highest point on the ship) a couple different times while out at sea, great view up there...Great video, thanks.

    Sorry I had to postpone the watching of this episode Karanvir, but right now, after having taken the entire tour together with you, I'm even more impressed with your comprehensive knowledge and your hands on explanation of 'connecting the dots' re. everything that is needed for such a massive ship to be operating!
    And, mind you; more than _once_ I've been struck by the thought that from your _employer's_ point of view - your detailed [and brilliantly directed!] videos most _definitely_ is contributing into making you a unique asset for the company, your captain, and the rest of the ship's crew! (And, I might add, I'm speaking from over 50 years as a seafarer across the globe here, and so every one of your videos immediately puts me in either 'at sea-mode' - alternatively 'alongside-mode' and all in between! . . .
    The only thing I might regret on _your_ part, is the extremely short 'stop overs' today's shipping involves, literally robbing you of the possibility of shore leave in the different ports of call, thereby _not_ getting a little taste of different cultures and such, . . . .
    As an example; I was only 16 when the ship I worked on at the time, were loading corn/grain [maize] on the US West Coast - bound for Pusan, S. Korea.
    Upon arrival, we had a draft [which determines the _minimum_ depth of water a ship can safely navigate] prohibiting us from going alongside (as moored to a pier/wharf), so we had to stay anchored for more than a month, unloading by our ship's cranes to small barges, before being able to go into the port proper, where shore cranes (with greater capacity) were used, and where we stayed securely moored for yet _another_ month(!), all this on account of that the hatch covers for our 5 cargo holds had to be immediately closed shut once rain started! - Well, since this was in monsoon season, there was a _lot_ of closing and opening, and this naturally interrupted our unloading tremendously, the _upside_ for the crew on the other hand, was the we were allowed and able to frequently go ashore, even spending the _night_ ashore (with all _that_ might encompass!...), sadly, this also was something that might actually _heavily_ 'eat into' one's personal budget during the stay (something_ today's_ seafarers are easily avoiding!). Still, this gave opportunities for lots of experiences and lots of memories were made! . . . . I thought I just wanted to share this! 😃
    Take care, stay safe, be happy & Bon Voyages dear Karanvir! . . . 🙏

      (Btw, since you've shown so much of and from the different vessels _you've_ been on so far, I thought I'd let you have glimpse of my last ship before I went ashore for good, this is the Norwegian Stand-By/AWSAR-ship ''STRIL POSEIDON'', which has been operating in the Norwegian offshore oil & gas fields since it was launched, specifically built for off shore emergency operations;

      As an avid helicopter enthusiast, I always enjoyed the training regime we had with the Airbus EC225 L1 Super Puma AWSAR-helicopter based on the nearby oil platform, picture: The heli's rescue man hanging from the winch, ready to be lowered down to our ship during winch-training (the ''HEIDRUN'' oil platform seen in the background, and where the chopper was based!).

And yes I see Maersk container ships pass by every day.in the narrow Kill which is only 900 feet wide. I can almost touch your ship as it passes bye!! When the Emma Maersk ( approx 1300 ft. long and 170 wide) passes bye, it is absolutely stunning.. At least know I have a much better understanding about what really goes on inside!! Greetings from Gonzales, Louisiana. Not many people get to see the Sun set like that. The Sun rising, now that's another thing. To all sailors of the world, my hat is off to you.

      @@KaranvirSinghNayyar When I was about 20 years old (I'm74 now) my Dad worked for a Major Oil company and he really wanted me to have a summer job aboard an Oil Tanker. He said the food is terrific, and so is the pay, and I'd get to see a lot of the world! He tried really hard to get me in, but at that time, the Unions were tough to brek through, so I never got to go! I did work for an airline later on and traveled a great deal, but I always throught what an adventure it would have been to travel on the high seas! So thanks to you and your videos, I've getting that experience, albeit it through video! Thanks again, Karanvir! I DO enjoy your videos a great deal!!!!!

    IDEA: Make an "ASMR" video with only the camera looking forward and hearing the sounds of the ocean :) Like a 10 hour relaxing video :D
