In this video I show you what part to replace in order to fix a no-speed blower issue or the blower motor won’t shut off. This is on several years of Chevrolet trucks.
Here’s the link to the part: amzn.to/3gj0S3V - บันเทิง
Great video easy fix. Bought same product and blower works and turns off now. Thank you
Good to hear, and you are most welcome! Thank you for the feedback, it really helps:)
Fantastic video, great job. Informative thru every step.
Thank you so much, friend! So glad it was worth your time!
Dude, thank you for the video and the link... I have AC again.. God bless
So happy to hear this!!! This is the reason I make videos, and when they help someone, it makes my day! God bless you too, my friend!!!
Thanks a ton great video
You’re most welcome!!!!
Testing a new resistor because my 12 won't turn on. Trying resistor first. After installing the new unit, the blower won't shut off lol. Think I'll just get the "troubleshooting bundle" on rock auto and be done with it.
Good video, regardless
Love the “troubleshooting bundles” cause it’s all new! Appreciate the feedback, and I wish you success in your repair!
Thank you Sir, mine just happened...
You’re most welcome, and I’m glad this helped!
Thank you
You are most welcome, friend!
Will this help the blow fan ?
Mine just works when it wants to I guess
It will help in some cases. You might check the blower motor as well.
Thanks 👍
You’re most welcome!
Thanks
You’re most welcome!
I have a GMC Savana that I parked awhile ago.Went to start it..battery dead.Hooked up cables..yep..blower fan is running.Would not jump start.Battery conpletely drained.Going to try pulling the wires to the blower.Or pulling the fuse.I'll try and charge the battery.I have no idea yet where the relay switch is.
Unplugging the blower or fuse would definitely help. At least until you can find the fault.
So mine would turn on whenever it wanted to and only be at speed 5. It was draining my battery. I replaced this and it didn’t fix it. Changed the fuses as well.
2002 gmc sierra
What about the speed selector switch on the dash? Is it ok?
Will this module work on the rear blower in a 2003 Tahoe?
Does yours have auto AC or manual?
I have automatic air@@GrubNGas
It has auto AC. The blower will at times not turn off and other times it will turn off when the ignition is turned off. It will turn itself back on some times a few seconds after it turns off with the ignition switch. Kind of strange. The resistor looks just like the one you removed from your truck.
@@tjrobil I did some research and the OEM numbers I’m finding for yours are: 89023386, 89040361, or 93803634…but definitely check those at a parts store to be sure. My part might work, but I’d hate to say yes and it doesn’t.
Same if it's back blower? My front needs replacing
I’m not 100% sure, but if you have no speeds, I would suspect the same part. Hope that helps:)
Will this work on 2003 Chevy Tahoe
I’m not certain, but check the part number at your local parts store, or check it on rockauto.com.
Mines did that but after I started driving for a few and shut off the blower was back running again
That’s good!
Pls change ur resistor block located near blower fan
Thanks for the feedback!
Has anyone had a problem that sounds like the vent won’t stop switching air current from the defrost to vent over and over on passenger side? At least that’s what it sounds like I haven’t confirmed that’s the issue. Know how to go about diagnosing that?
I’m not entirely sure, but it sounds like the door that directs the air flow isn’t moving.
I replaced that and still stays on
Hmmm….may have a defective switch?
How did the wiring harness look?
@GrubNGas all brand new and replaced an stays on when my truck off
The plug to the resistor kinda melted
@@wickedlokz1849 ah, that might do it!
Did this, my blower still blows with key off. This is a fix, but not the fix for me.
Yikes! Sounds like there’s some contacts crossed somewhere.
Might want to disconnect the battery until the issue is traced.
@@GrubNGas Well I’ve had the fuse pulled for quite some time now. Had time to change it today. Unfortunately it didn’t fix it for me. I have a loud stereo in here, I’d imagine shaking the firewall violently would’ve caused this. Lol
@@hunterzent3460 I hear ya, lol!!! That could do it!
I replaced the resister module with a New module and it did NOT fix the problem. f**k.
Dang…have you tried a blower speed switch?
@@GrubNGas Well I removed the Switch Assemble and the Blower even stay ON with it fully disconnected and pulled out of the vehicle! wtf? I also pulled every relay out (one at a time) about a dozen of them, And Blower still goes and goes. Maybe they sent me a jacked resister module.
@@toxsickdog what about the blower motor fuse?
It has to be the climate control unit
