  • MusicGlove is a clinically validated music-based rehabilitation device. This stroke recovery glove helps motivate patients to perform high repetition of therapeutic exercises. Here's a quick link to learn more: flnt.rehab/2ZyfnTg
    In this video, Flint Rehab demonstrates how to use MusicGlove, the world’s first FDA-approved, clinically-validated hand rehabilitation device that uses music and gaming to make therapy fun and effective.
    Options for rehabilitation at home are severely limited for the over 3 million individuals living with hand impairment after stroke or other neurological or muscular injuries. MusicGlove empowers individuals to regain their independence by delivering a motivating therapy regimen that is proven to significantly restore hand function after three weeks of use.
    The device features a sensorized glove that tracks the user's hand movements. Users make specific functional grips to play a therapy-based game where scrolling notes are displayed on a touch screen console that are timed to the rhythm of upbeat songs (similar to Guitar Hero).
    This music and game based approach motivates users to make a high number of intensive and functional movements that have been proven to lead to vast improvements in hand function.
    The device is used by some of the most prestigious rehabilitation hospitals in the US and backed by the National Institute of Health and the National Institute of Disability and Research Rehabilitation.
    MusicGlove is now available for purchase at flnt.rehab/2ZyfnTg. Contact our sales team for a free consultation at 1-800-593-5468. Thanks for watching!!

    This looks very interesting! I am wondering if it could help recover from musician's focal dystonia, is there such possibility?

    • @Flintrehab
      @Flintrehab  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +odysseasodysseas Thanks for the comment! While we haven't had any patients with dystonia use the device, it does have the potential to help since MusicGlove is intended for neurological injury. And musicians typically see great results with MusicGlove because they become very engaged with the musical aspect of the device. If you'd like to talk to a customer representative to get more information, please feel free to give us a call at 949-667-0410 and we'll be happy to help!

    I had a stoke almost 5 years ago and left me with numbness on my left side , my hand doesn’t really want to function, I have pain and hard to grip everything and I drop everything. Will this music glove help me ??

    So if I had a half paralyzed right hand, would this work to restore hand movement or would you suggest passive movement with a left hand while wearing the glove on right hand? would that help increase the neurological response time?

      +Jude Blank Hi Jude! Thank you for your comment and we apologize for not seeing it sooner. To answer your question, yes the MusicGlove is effective when used passively (i.e. using your unaffected hand to help move your affected hand). We have had a few patients use the device in this fashion and they saw improvement! Hope this helps.

    Does it work for someone who doesn't have any hand movement? Or they have to have some already for this to work?

    • @Flintrehab
      @Flintrehab  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Jesus B Hi Jesus! Thank you for your comment and we do apologize for not seeing it sooner. The MusicGlove does require some hand movement to be used actively (see comment above about passive movement). Initially, you need to be able to touch your thumb to any one of your fingertips. We're also releasing a device soon that requires no movement! So stay tuned :)
