@@sreedathcreatechannel4346 heres the deal- hand recovery is the last limb to recover as recovery is from proximal(close to the brain) to distil(farthest=hand). I started with strengthening shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand while making sure hand and wrist doesnt go into contracture.i used elbow immobilizer to prevent over activation of biceps while I worked on shoulder, triceps and shoulder blades. Then I worked on elbow wrist and finally wrist and hand. That's where I am today.i use double channel FES to activate my wrist and fingers; five times a week. According to my therapist, my fingers are one third strength of my working hand now. I'm sure I will have my hand soon. I hope this helps. You can me anything about my recovery. I'm not a doctor or physiotherapist, but my son is a doctor. I have access to any research paper I need through him.

I used both saeboflex and SAEBOglove, doing about 250 balls per day. All it did was- didn't let my hand go into contracture. Made no change to the fingers movement.it's been 5 years since my stroke with no impr no improvement. Thinking of living with hand as an appendage now.
so there is no actual working treatment for hand recovery after stroke?
@@sudipghose5945 in my experience of 6 years stroke recovery. Only FES is helping to move the hand. But, remember more joints more complicated the recovery is. You can count the joints in arm and hand, the you get the answer. Dont be discouraged. I couldn't do any therapy for my hand for about 2 two month due to pain in my shoulder until they gave me cortisol shot. Also my I had a massive stroke after surgery in my neck that put in comma for r weeks. Every stroke is unique. Dont be discouraged. Find a very good neuro rehab specialist physical therapist and keep working on it. I hope it helps.
@@sudipghose5945 one thing I forgot to mention is stretching the hand arm. Also do lots of visualization as brain doesnt know if the experience is real or imagined when you close your eyes.
