I like the subtitled guide. It was interesting to know that Hall Street is the longest high st in England. Must have been an important town in its day. I can see why it's such a popular place to move to now. It's really quite lovely. Thanks LW.
Every place you have shown I would love to visit or even live. Love the foot path at the end. Foot paths would make a nice peaceful video. Love this town. Thank you again for a wonderful adventure. Hi from Sandpoint, Idaho USA.
Thanks friend for your continued communication, we do value it. BTW, the paintings you've put up on your recent video are just lovely, we particularly love the ones at 0:15 and 1:52. You've got some great results.
A great video of where I lived for 16 years. Just an extra piece of history - Coconut House opposite the Bull hotel was the managers house of a large coconut matting factory next door at Cocoanut House. The industry was founded to fill the gap when the wool trade fell away. Later the factory was used to build coffins for victims of the First World War then burned down in the 1920’s leaving the street front buildings.
Hello there Camilla, what a lovely message to receive from you and we're most grateful for the additional info which I'll add to the captions when I get a mo'. All the best to you.
Sorry @@2024lmf, I get myself confused, apologies, you were meaning Sir Henry Firebrace who served Charles II and was knighted I think? How interesting!
Another lovely UK walk and a nice accompaniment to Sudbury. Thanks for helping me to get to know places with such simple honesty, I like it!

@@LivingWalks do you think with my surname a should vist this place lol
Wow I see why it's named 'Long' Melford! That's what you call long! Lots of interest and little moments along the way. I enjoyed it.
Afternoon LY&M, yes it certainly was long, we thought it would never end but enjoyed the scenes along the way. Best regards.
@@LivingWalks It was changed to Long Melford in 1884, so the 'long' part is a fairly new addition. Otherwise is historically just Melford.

Ah happy to have brought a little bit of it back to you Jill.
I do like the contrast on the channel. One moment a big city and the next a hidden gem!
Thanks for letting us know that RBS, we'll be bringing a bit of contrast in so many more coming this way. Best wishes.
