Suffolk is a stunning county of England in East Anglia. It borders Norfolk to the north, Cambridgeshire to the west and Essex to the south. The North Sea lies to the east.
The county is low-lying but it has quite a few hills and largely arable land with the wetlands of the Broads in the north. The Suffolk Coast and Heaths are known as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Villages and towns in Suffolk are renowned for their historic pink-washed halls and cottages, which are widely known as ‘Suffolk Pink’. Decorative paint colours found in the county can range from a pale shell shade, to a deep blush brick colour.

Bardwell, Woolpit and Walsham le willows are some of my favourites.
My great grandfather came from little fallow in Suffolk to NZ in 1860 i think name was Arthur Smith ,
I can't find a reference to little fallow. There is a place called fallow cottage near Hadleigh and somewhere called Fallowfield near Reydon.
Really enjoyed this! Thankyou! XXX
Like a lot of those also like Boxford,, Bures and Shotley Peninsula
East Bergholt is the setting for many of John Constable’s most famous paintings, including his masterpiece The Hay Wain. Oddly West Bergholt is in Essex.
why does the commentary have to be in unreadable all-caps? Lower case shows us word shapes that we understand, all-caps are just tiring rectangles!
Isn’t the Rampant Horse shown at the end in Needham Market? Grew up there in the 70s/80s.
Westleton
21st Century Suffolk.
Ive been living in Suffolk now for 48 yrs and would agree with that list apart from Coddenham, its not particulary interesting at all.Ive lived in Lavenham and its lovely, also lived in Long Melford and its ok but not very special.Kersey and Polstead are stunning. In general though Suffolk isn't that sleepy county anymore, its not particulary well kept due to uncaring councils and there has been a huge influx of new properties build in recent years.Suffolk was a wonderfull county to live in 25 yrs ago but sadly no more.
Nice little video but just a note to anyone watching this and thinking theyll pop into the Rampant Horse Pub in Coddenham, that pub is actually 4 miles away in Needham Market.
Indeed the only pub in Coddenham (Duke's Head) which used to be lovely has been shut since 2014. It looks quite a boarded up eyesore now - I believe applications have been made to convert to housing.

Norfolk and Suffolk, they must be the best two counties to live in. You can't beat the calm laid back pace to life.
woodbridge
... that's a town.
