One place I would go and spend sometime is the "The Mill Hotel." Looks like a wonderful place to hike and take photos.
I'm sure many people love your videos because, like me they will probably never travel to the Europe. It is nice to be able to enjoy the shops, buildings and people. Thank you... Hi from Sandpoint, Idaho USA.

Hello friend, quite agree the Mill hotel was perfect at the end of a long walk, they serve a nice drop of ale and the view of the cows paddling was just the ticket. It's our hope to bring these places to your and to other folks door, so it's great to know they are being enjoyed. We feel the same about Sandpoint, it's been really interesting to get to know the place through you. Happy to have stayed in touch.

Thanks for taking this video! I stayed at the mill hotel, it was super inexpensive (around $65 a night) and the views out the window were amazing, as were the morning walks along the streams! Loved it there! Be sure to visit lavenham as long as you’re near there. I’m sorry I

It’s not really hiking as much as a picturesque long stroll in the meadows with swans and cows:] The only reason I ended up in Sudbury during my trip to Europe was because of the Iceland volcano ash stopping planes from flying for a week or 2. I didn’t want to stay in bustling London so I looked up “quaint villages in England”. It did not disappoint. Sudbury is super reasonable and an easy trip on the train. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel. I met a couple of guys there at a pub and we hung around for a week. One of them was kind enough to suggest I travel out to Lavenham for the day while he spent the day working out there. I spent the day looking at old crooked buildings, the cutest cottages with lush, colorful landscaping and thatched roofs, then got a bottle of champagne and drank while I hiked the hills and meadows. Btw…one of the guys told me how much he hates hearing people describe the village as “quaint” cuz it’s so overused (and now I feel a tinge of shame any time I use the word). I didn’t tell him that’s how I ended up there via my google search!

How much would our ancestors have loved this, a walking tour, before the long haul there! Very helpful, thank you! Yes, I am going to be in this area, in May 2023; from Maui, Hawaii, and looking forward to mingling with you all!
Love, Aloha, Claire + my dog, Tarkina.

Aloha, Claire and Tarkina! Well how interesting that you'll be visiting from Maui, Hawaii. I do hope you enjoy your trip to Suffolk and this helps to give you a picture of it before you come. As you say our ancestors would most certainly been amazed at such things. Here to some good weather for you!

Oh wow, I lived here from 2012 to 2017 before we moved to Australia. We are now planning on moving back to Sudbury maybe next year. Thank you for sharing this, it’s great to see the market is still thriving and there’s some new shops too. It makes me realise how much I miss the place.
