Suunto watches do that since years ago. I am tacking about the differentiation between going upward with the lift and skiing. This is the most important feature for skiing.
Garmin, you know. Has customer support and doesn’t break your watch when you send it in for a $100 battery replacement then charge you to fix what they broke when they put it back together. Eff you Suunto.
Hi guys, I bot mine a month ago and I haven't really time to explore it, but today I find out that doesn't have the maps preloaded. How you access the maps, do you need to be on the resorts or you can see them is you as I am in London.. Please help, because I cannot find them at all

So did Garmin. I have the Fenix 3HR which is getting old and it does it just fine

It was automatically on the watch.
