Overlanding the West Coast of Tasmania in our 40 Year Old Land Rover

- This week we continue north and get Nigel in his natural habitat: dirt, sand, rocks and water crossings. We find remote camp spots up there with some of the best we've ever had in our 3 years of living on the road. Safe to say Tasmania has been blowing us away!
See you on the road,
Kendall and Glenn

Your bread on a stick looked good.
Yea ! Battery came in. Have a good week.
Certainly good photography! Never enjoyed watching surfing before but now see what a skill it is! Enjoying your travels in Nigel!
What a great video. Camera work and editing superb. Really enjoyed it. Surfing was great too.
I really enjoyed that, thanks. Our family camped at Stingray back in the 70s and 80s, a beautiful area.
So good to see you experiencing the 4WD. Guess it means you can experience places you couldn’t get to in the van? True freedom ❤️. Hope everything works out well with the battery 🤞
Wow what a spectacular camping spot . Loved the shot of your landy and dog with the surf board and that beautiful sun set in the background WOW . CHEERS from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :):)🐕:) 😁👍🏼
So nice to see you 3, so very happy again !
Aww thanks Sandra! We’ve been so genuinely happy lately 🥰
Brilliant, thank you. Love you three!
Thanks so much Lisa! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend 😊
The cinematography is so beautiful 😍 Also all the food you guys made looks delicious!
Thanks again for sharing! I didn't realize Glenn had been to the states. Nigel goes where Vance would have had a tough go of it.
Cheers guys 🤙🏼
Tassie, turning it on for you guys!
We got so lucky! 🥰
always love the music in your vids guys as much as the views great vid guys. also go nigel mate lol eating the hills and rocks up bruv XD
Love that landy - doing what it was built for!
Cheers from the south coast of WA.
I live in South Australia and we get to watch the sun set over the ocean every night from our dinner table. Kids dont appreciate it much, but I will continue to point it out to them and tell them how lucky they are ☺
It really is magic isn't it?!
Great vid guys. Well done.
This is one of my favourite episodes. Just you three and an absolutely amazing location. Thanks!
Another great video guys!
Loved the drone shots of Nigel - reminded me of when I was a young lad playing with Corgi Land Rovers.
Nigel looked just like a Corgi car!
Nice tucker in this episode.
In Canada we have a very similar thing to damper but we call it bannock. It’s classic bush food.
Never thought to wrap it on a stick but from now on will do!
Cheers 🇨🇦
Some great filming and droning in this episode, love those beaches. Thanks for sharing.
You guys scored. Every Time I've been on the west coast of Tassie its been blowing a gale and sleeting - and thats been in summer. Reckon you will enjoy Marrawah.
We've certainly had some bad weather over there as well that's for sure! Thankfully this time we got super super lucky and had a cracking weather window for it
Another great video stay safe guys
Thanks so much Dianne!
Hey guys thanks for another nice chilled video. Nigel as wel as both of you seem in your element there in Stingray Beach. My van is back on the road and as it's only 2 X 2 I had to turn around in Granville Harbour few days ago, but happy to be rolling again. So glad your able to get another battery sent out, hope that goes well for you and you never know, the fridge might even work too. Was going to offer you a big battery bank able to charge laptops via USB C Power Delivery up to 100W if I was going to run into you on the road if we cross paths. Make sure to head South of Temma, Nigel will have to go in 4 X 4 but all three will love it down there too.
Thanks so much Pete! Thankfully we are back on track and thriving. haha. We had a bit of a romp around Temma but didn't get too far south. I feel like we are definitely going to have to come back to Tassie and keep exploring. So many amazing places to see! Thanks again for the generous sentiment!
Nice one. You both have seen a lot of Tassie alread and like myself, will be very happy to come back in future to see more and lap it up.
Thank Kendall and Glenn for this video.
Great work guys! Very quaint spot for camping
It was such a special time! 😊
Another beautiful Vlog. So good to see your original vlogging style back love it! Carving up those waves Glenn, looked killer! Didn’t realise you lived over in the States for a bit. Lastly, You really need to release a recipe book mate! 😂
Thanks so much! And yeah Glenn did a stint over there before both of us moved back to Aus. It's been a fun long ride for the two of us! As for recipes, we may just put a few on videos that we make. Unfortunately we only have a few staple dishes so unless people wanted to buy a 4 page cook book we may have to wait hahaha
Awesome intro, awesome drone shots! I wouldn’t mind hearing the Rover gear whine a bit.
hahaha oh it whines that's for sure!
What an unreal spot, can you please stop making me want to get a 4wd 😂
The Landy in it's true environment. Just a pity that those wind turbines intrude on the natural landscape.
It felt so nice to finally get Nigel in his element!
Loving the content and camera work guys. what sort of cameras are you using for your You Tube content and your Instagram?
Thanks John! We use our Sony a7riii for photos and videos and then for random vlogs and whatnot we just use our iPhones 😊
Love the drone shots. What a great spot 😍
Thanks so much!
Great video. May I ask where the last camp/surf spot was?
That spot was a random spot we stumbled across on the West Coast further north :)
Please can you not include music when you have spoken dialogue as it is very hard to hear what is being said.
Otherwise very nice to watch. Keep on posting.👍
Thanks for the feedback guys we'll keep that in mind :)
