Can’t wait for the adventures with Max n Occy 😎😎😎🥰
Guys! So excited to hear you’re building a tiny home at Max and Occys! You might have seen I’ve been helping Max with a lot of the cabin Reno’s in particular the electrical, if you’d like any help with the build I’d be happy to offer my assistance 😊 (Im sure max would have a few things for me to do up there anyway 😂)
Thanks so much! I think we'll definitely take you up on that offer! Really appreciate it!
@@KendallandGlenn look forward to it 😀
👍🏻♥️ Max and Occy is how I found your channel. I’m looking forward to watching your prep and build. Congratulations!
So glad to have you here Sue! 🥰
Sooooo exciting! And seeing your beaming smiles and enthusiasm makes us sooooo happy! 😘😘
Thanks Sue! It's all very exciting!
In the UK we call it tag or tig! Tip cracks me up 😂. Gorgeous videography guys 🫶
I love the layout of that tiny home! Particularly the staircase up to the sleeping space feels maximum cozy. Excited to follow along! xo
Hi from Tasmania, I saw you on Max and Occy , good luck with the tiny house build, it's definitely Tip. 👍💃🕺🐕👏👏🏄
What a great idea guys. As awesome as it is to live out of your car, I can only imagine after so many years of doing it, how stoked you must feel to soon be able to call a place home. And Max's property is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing what you build.
You're exactly right mate! I think 5 years is long enough to be exclusively living out of a car. hahaha. Time for more space (even if it is a tiny home).
You couldn’t wish for better House / Land Share mates than Max & Occy! All the best with the tiny home build 🤙🤙
Can’t wait to share more of this next chapter!
A tip in Scotland is a garbage pit. 🏴 “Tip, you’re it” sounds crazy! 🇺🇸
That’s exactly what I’m thinking! Glenn sounds silly saying tip 😂
Congratulations guys, looking forward to seeing your tiny home. Been watching Max and Occy for a while now.
This is giving me so many 2010 vibes. It's so interesting looking at your fave roadtrip youtubers move into a more sedentary lifestyle. Best of luck for the new projets! I just bought a house in Montréal Québec and it can be a lot of work, but so worth it!
Thanks a lot :)
Chasey or Tag in WA :)
Annnnd, congrats of the upcoming Tiny House chapter! Exciting!!!
Chasey is actually really adorable, I think that’s the winner haha. And thank you!! We’re so excited! 🥹😍
So keen for the High Country!
Great to see you both looking extremely excited and happy with your next journey!
So so thrilled for you. Best match up too. Have followed Max & Occy for ages. So for the viewers double hit!
called Tag here in the west, followed the link over from Max and Occy's, looking forward to seeing your travels..
Been following you since Vance and Leo was a pup, great to see you in my back yard and with Max and Occy. My friend has tiny homes on the farm and a big hit is the outdoor bath area on the deck. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Thanks so much for following our journey! And yes how cool are bathtubs outside!
IM SOOOOO EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS!! Can’t wait to follow along with the house build!
Omg! So excited for you guys!!! Can't wait to see your beautiful home ~~
Congratulations guys on your new adventure! It sounds really exciting and will look forward to following the build and more adventures with Nigel. By the way, in Scotland the game is called ‘Tag’ haha. ❤️👍
Growing up in NSW (70’s/80’s) we called it ‘chasings’.
Love that you are moving to Max and Occy’s property - looking forward to this.
What an awesome combo.. you guys and Max & Occy xx
Tip! And how cool to be sharing with Max and occy. You guys have so much in common.
We called it Tiggy here in Far North Queensland..Never heard it called ‘Tip’🤔but have definitely heard it called Tag..Subscribed to your channel after seeing you 2 on Max & Occy’s last video..Can’t wait to see/watch future developments on both TH-cam channels, good luck🤙🏼
Canadian here. We call it “Tag” as well. Also, congrats on the next big adventure! I’m sure Glenn’s mechanical skills are transferable to carpentry no problem
Back in the day, we called it chasings!
Tiggie is what we called it in QLD
Been waiting for this episode joined once seen you both on Max & Occy. How awesome 🙌 to go on this journey with you all
Awesome getting beau involved! Great craftsman’s and great using the smaller builders
Noosa looks amazing!
Aww. So happy for you guys.
You two are so awesome!
This is the best energy I have ever seen you guys have! How exciting! Max and Occy are my fave, you’re going to have an incredible time along side them
Great news, combining my two favourite TH-camrs! Congratulations great idea. I wish you all the very best and I am looking forward to the tiny house build.
Thanks so much!! We’re so excited to share more about it! 🥰
It's a great idea for all of you to be sharing Max's place. It's a great location and still close to the surfing beaches.
Tag , from WA and NSW. Best wishes on your new project.
Pega-pega in Brazil (catch-catch) 😂
I think you guys forgot to say "Welcome back" 😂
Growing up in NZ we called it Tiggy Touch. Congrats on the move into the tiny home❤️
Congratulations 🎉 I'm so excited for you. This will give you the best of both worlds. Can't wait to see the future begin.
Chasey in QLD, congratulations good things to come,
Am really looking forward to your next stage...should be really exciting. As an old bloke who has/is following a number of young folks as they travel around different parts of the world, I have noticed that the desire to settle/ set up a home base seems to occur around the 4/5 year mark, and I think that is quite understandable...most creatures need a nest. !! When I saw Nigel pop up on Max's video, I was curious about the sight, especially as I was aware of his ideas for the future possibilities for his property. I believe the area is an ideal choice for you. Good luck. Stay well.
Thanks so much Ian! Yeah we’ve noticed that trend too, after so many years of always being on the go it’ll be nice to have a home base for a little while 😊 can’t wait to share more!
Congratulations legends!! Can’t wait to come watch this journey! Love tiny homes so much 🙌
Aww thanks guys!! So excited! Hope you’re all doing well 🥰
So excited for this new chapter! Occy and Leo are for sure a good match!
Because I've lived in fived different countries, it's both tip and tag to me. Great news, and beautiful filming on this as usual.
Frothing guys! So sick - enjoy the next chapter! 🎉
Gonna have to get some of your expertise on all things architecture and permaculture mate! If you are ever up this way please come say hi!
Hi guys great to see you're rig is back on the road.
As for the game.you said , we call it tiggy here in Vic.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
We used to call it chasey! But we would say 'Tag, you're it!' And we'd say Bali when we were on a safe space where no one was allowed to tag you... made sense as a kid!
Siete fantastici!!! vi seguo dal Italia
Hey guys! Just came over from Max and Occy’s channel, and now loving yours too ❤
Welcome!
In WA we called it chasey, wife is from Ireland and she called it chasey too, that was in the 70s when in primary school 😊
St Helens Oregon USA says Tag your it👍👍
Awesome . Looks like things are coming together for you all . Having space like that would help with your filming as it will give you more room to work in .looking forward to seeing more to come . Will also allow for leaving things at home or taking other things on trips . Cheers to another great video . Thanks again from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A . :) :) 🐕:) 🌏🍻👍🏼😁.
You're so right Steve! Being able to leave some things at a home base, and having more room to film will be such a treat!
@@KendallandGlenn ..🍻👍🏼😁
Some classic 70’s surf film vibes around 12 minute mark…great film work
Thanks so much mate!
Hope you watch Eamon & Bec as they are awesome builders, as are Van Wives and Ambition Strikes. They know their stuff!
Thank you for the recommendations! We’ll definitely give their videos a watch as we prepare for our build 😍
It's called Tiggy. A Tag is something you put on your luggage and a Tip is where you dump rubbish. Congrats on the tiny house.
Haha can’t argue with that! 🙌🏼
Yep. I'm from the same school as you Grahame.
Yeah tiggy too. We always said tag chasey, but for speed, tiggy.
Chasey in South Australia. Have heard it called Tag and Tiggy as well.
Yep tiggy! In Vic 😊
In France WE call it the wolf, the one who's tag is the wolf 🐺
Really enjoy your channel guy's, I always want to go back to Australia when watching 🤙
Tea three ❣️
That's an awesome name for it!
Love it!
Here's hoping Occy and Leo enjoy their time together. Great to have a base when you are traveling.
They've settled in nicely with one another that's for sure!
Definitely Tips 😀 and you couldn’t tip the person that tipped you. We’d say … can’t get the butcher back ! Or you’d call out B.A.R I’m bar 😀 I got the lovely surprise when watching Max & Occy when they showed you guys were moving there. What a spectacular piece of land, it’s magical 💜 can’t wait to see you guys all together 👍🏻
Oh my God I completely forgot about "Can't get the butcher back". hahaha wow that's brought back some memories!
And thanks a lot Storm!
TAG your it. Coming to you from Max n occy, I'm sure Max will give you a few hints with the build, great guy.
So cool to see all these familiar landscapes in this latest video 😍 and stoked for you guys moving into the tiny home era!! Been wanting to do it myself for a while 🙌🏻 thanks for the plug too 🙏🏻
Thanks mate! So nice to use some of your music! Makes all the difference :)
I grew up in Perth, live QLD now, we call it Tag.
Actually found your channel just last week when Max&Occy posted the video where you showed up at his property! Been watching your video's back since then.
Welcome Ella!
Great video, again. Saw you at Max's and thought what a good combination. This lifelong nomad is also looking at establishing a base and stable community. Best wishes with the new project ❤
Noosa looks amazing! BTW, it’s officially called tag.
OMG IM SO EXCITED!
Will you please do a Q & A so we can learn more about you, how and when you met etc.?
We called it TAG as kids 🏴 😎
Yeah it's called tag chasey , or just tag, in Victoria/Tasmania. Body surfing, even with a board, is fun too. That's if people struggle to surf.
SO EXCITING!! Welcome to the tiny community, you’re going to love it ❤
Always happy to chat if you want real life experience. Main tip, get your foundations sorted first… it’s been a struggle with that for me. I didn’t do it right first up. I follow you on all the things, hit me up if you want to chat ☺️
Ohh thank you so so much for that, super helpful! I will definitely reach out I’m sure, it’s going to a lot of learning as we go! 😅😅
We all it touches in south African....love you guys. Love and respect from durban South Africa
❤❤❤
Yup 😉 I'm from Victoria and from the 80s Tag but I was a 60s kid and it was chasey... wwhen you got older it was kiss chasey🤣💖💖💖✌
Born and bred in NSW and we always called it "Tag your it.!" Glen mate' you need more caffeine buddy. Blame it on the cold morning brother. Lol Long time watcher of Max and yourselves looking forward to all the new content. 🙏
Glad to know there’s a bit of ‘tag’ down here too!! Can’t wait to share more of our new chapter with Max and Occy 😊🙌🏼
That's awesome ❤
I grew up in NZ and in Australia, in NZ it's tag and in Australia it was Tip
I’ve spent my childhood growing up in both Australia and Papua New Guinea and both places we called it Tip. Tip you’re it, is what we would say!
Hi guys, I just found you guys and love what you're doing and good luck on your next step in life!
My wife and I are VERY interested in buying a LR series IIa 109 to convert into something similar to what you built. My only worry is the engine power to move everything I would add in the back.
Can you please comment on how fast (or slow) your series 3 is with everything you have? Can you cruise comfortably cruise at 80km/h - 90km/h on the highway and what kind of gas mileage are you getting? Oh, and how is the noise level while driving?
thank you so much! I think you're one of a few people who actually have real world experience living with a Series 3.
Hi mate! Thanks so much for following along.
Honestly it isn't for everyone. After the engine rebuild and with all the extra load we are carrying we can go about 90km/h on the highway. We are still slow up hills. It is still very noisy (can't really converse comfortably). With our 55L fuel tank we can get about 250-300kms.
We still love it so much but also understand that for a lot of people that sounds like a nightmare. hahaha. Best of luck with finding your adventure vehicle, whichever one it may be!
@@KendallandGlenn Thank you guys for the reply. I need to do some soul searching to see if its the right path to take buying a 109 haha.
We called it TAG in Canada
Tag is also called Tiggy in Australia
In W.A, I've only ever known the game 'tag' as being called 'chasey!' 😂
As an Aussie, never heard of tip 😂. Always been tag or tiggy
Followed from max and Occy too
Very excited for you
Two , Forty Foot Hi-Cube refurbished shipping containers is a flying start to a Tiny Home . 40 foot x 16 foot rectangular structure .
Just make some level Footings and lay them side by side butted hard togrther . Angle grinder makes Doors and Windows .
Some cladding with insulation and you're away . Modular and easily extended . Just a suggestion .
Max wants a mobile, ie; on wheels home on his land. It's a temporary agreement.
@@mezanian. Seems to me , after a Re-Watch , they ARE talking about a Relocatable Home .
A Framed Small House . Turns up on the back of a Truck and gets Placed on-site .
And Container based dwellings are a Relocatable as it gets .
Back a while I worked as a Container Truck Crane operator (sideloader) , so I know how it works .
We have definitely entertained the idea of container homes however to abide by council rules we need it to be movable so that it isn't classified as a home but rather a "caravan" haha
@@KendallandGlenn So how is a Relocatable Home any different ?
Still turns up in Sections , on a Truck(s) , and gets Craned onto the Ground/Footings .
A Multiple Container Home is COMPLETELY relocatable .
Can be Permanent if you want , but absolutely doesn't HAVE to be .
Sounds like Council , A : Lack of comprehension , Or , B : Council " fishing " for higher Fees . Likely the latter .
@@johncunningham4820 You and I both know there is no difference but unfortunately council makes a lot of hoops to jump through otherwise more fees will be in place. As soon as it isn't istantly relocatable, a lot of councils will require the land to be sub-divided which costs an arm and a leg. Very stupid but makes it easy if we keep it on wheels.
It was "tiggy" when I was growing up in the north of England
Yeah we call it tip 😊
I’m from NSW
In New Zealand we called it tiggy back in the day…have heard of tag but tip though? Errr no 🤣
Tiggy is a great name for it! In retrospect tip is pretty weird but it's all I've (Glenn) have known. hahah
Tig in England 🏴
Great episode guys. The tiny home news is awesome. Well done for organising this. I'm a builder and only do high class work for exclusive clients and can give you one huge tip. Don't buy your timber products from Bunnings. Hardware yes but not timber
Thanks so much Jason! Ahhh yes, we learned not to buy timber from Bunnings after our first van build 😅 appreciate the tip, I’m sure we’ll need a lot more once we get stuck into the tiny home build!
@@KendallandGlenn get high quality tools. That helps an amateur turn into a professional.
Awesome 👍❤All the best.❤❤
Thank you so much!
In mexico it's called "las traes"
TAG would translate to Tikkie or Tikkertje in Dutch. Enjoyed your episode and great news!
Dobby, with the rule that if you’re off ground you’re safe.
Well done guys on the tiny house i watch Living in a tiny house on Ytube love it in NK was Tag
❤❤
Thanks
Thanks a milliion Brian!
In the UK they call the game TIG, but I can understand why Americans call it TAG. I still can’t get used to some of the descriptions that Aussies have for things 🙄 - even after almost 20 years here. Brilliant news about your ‘home’ but the best of both worlds that you can still take off in Nigel. On the DIY skills thing - mate it you can strip down Nigel and rebuild him, DIY will be a piece of cake (especially with TH-cam 😂). Good luck.
Yeah Australians do have a habit of naming things ridiculous names hahaha. Thanks so much for the words of encouragement and following along :)
Tag 100%! But I’m in the states.
Tikkertje in Dutch.
Tikkie jij bent hem.
Tik translates as tap maybe tag but sounds like tig. So best of both worlds 😊.
Hi Kendall and Glenn. The gane “Tag”. Is called “ Tikkertje” in Dutch
