    I know this process must have been super stressful for you guys but I really appreciate you taking the opportunity to rebuilt Nigel. It has been a really great series watching you do almost everything yourselves and I’m sure it won’t be too long before you start the next lap of Australia. Looking forward to the next episode 🤙

    Can't believe the amount of mechanical work you have put into Nigel, not all planned but once your Committed....My relatively small break down in Tassie at Kettering (on way to Brunie Island) is just a blip comparef to what you guys are doing. I have nearly finished setting up another van last over summer at the same time you guys are working on Nigel, so we are both keen to hit the open road again. Thanks for the repair videos, interesting to watch too.
    Cheers Peter

    Strange about the copper brake pipes, here in the UK we always replace rusted metal ones with copper pipe for a lasting fix.You have done an amazing job on Nigel

    argh you left us on a cliff hanger. Well done on the resto. Ive enjoyed following your trips and the work on the land rover. I met you two at Marrawah on the west coast of Tassie in March last year. Glad you're still following the dream and also sticking with the Land Rover

    There’s a great product called knead-it, I think the Americans call it jb weld, it’s a 2 pack product, comes in a roll like dough.
    Mix it together, stick it on, once it’s set, you can grind, sand etc
    Fuel, water, oil proof, might be a handy item to have in the tool box in case the head weld lets go somewhere remote.
    Nigel’s looking great

    Nigel is looking class! I have a 1979 series 3 that I am converting into a camper. I have spent 8 months so far rebuilding Poppy and creating the interior, so much work left to do before her big maiden voyage across Europe. I have a million questions to ask but i will try and limit myself. Firstly, where did you get the box for the rear door? Secondly, have you any storage/water tanks underneath? Cheers!

    • @KendallandGlenn
      @KendallandGlenn  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks a lot Harry! How exciting for you. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you have. We also have our entire build series from over a year ago documenting fitting Nigel out into a camper that should help with a few things. As for the box, I bought it from a trailer parts store in Australia. I think your best bet would be trying to find similar in europe that supplies storage boxes for trailers and utes. As for the water tank we have only 35L unfortunately. We slightly modified the mounting of a "front runner" tank made for a Land Rover Defender. If we had more time in the build I would have either heavily modified the tank for more storage or just used their design as inspiration and just built my own. Ther's so much space in front of both rear wheels for storage it's ridiculous! Best of luck with Poppy!

      @@KendallandGlenn I have been watching Nigel's development for some time and it has given me quite a few ideas for Poppy. As it stands I have just committed to a partial engine rebuilt so watching your videos is providing me with a lot of comfort/entertainment. I'll have to look out for a suitable box for the rear door as it seems a fantastic idea to utilise a little more space. I have found a suitable 40l tank and spent last weekend installing a pump and shower setup. For now, at least, the landy budget is being well and truly hammered by the engine rebuild work, all DIY of course. Looking forward to more videos of Nigel!

      @@harrystrickland9238 That's awesome Harry. Sounds so exciting! Unfortunately the old bank account does take a massive hit with these projects but it's so worth it in the end! Best of luck with it :)

      Thanks so much Harry! The packing cubes are from Northern Olive (for the cotton ones) and I believe the green ones are just from Amazon, but I think you can find them at Kmart or Target even 🙌🏼
