    LOL! Mr. Road Rage was driving an honest-to-goodness land barge! Now that is a good catch in itself :) Crossing runners and a crew change along with two long trains is top-level cool - they emptied one of the yards, for sure!

    Odd part about the crew member that got on... He wasn't carrying anything. Moving one member from back of train? Would have expected 2 to go on and 2 to come off... The 2 mile long trains moving at VERY slow rates would get me to turn around for a different route in a lot of cases..... especially if I had to be somewhere in a timely manner....

    • @ayabokti161
      @ayabokti161 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah. Me too. I hear them bells & see lights & I floor it lol.
      Hamilton is really bad for long slow movers.
      Out in the back roads of the midwest, back in the day, when a real long train is tying up the whole town & leaving town & picking up speed, we'd chase it to make it to the next crossroad to bust tail over the tracks to get to the other side 😏

  • @jeremypreece870
    @jeremypreece870 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Hello from the UK. That second train was really long - about 167 wagons if I counted correctly. And yet there was no DPU. Just think of the weight that the first couplings on that train were pulling. I thought that distribution of these huge weight forces is why DPUs came about.

    • @patrickstanley9434
      @patrickstanley9434 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The second train likely picked up the coil cars from New Miami which is just about 4 miles north of that location. The train will terminate at Queensgate Yd in Cinti which is all downhill from Hamilton. So not quite as bad as you would think.

    I think the guy squealing his tires was more irritated with how slowly the first guy was trying to turn around. Looks like that town gets split in half pretty frequently..nobody has any patience left!
    Great video JT!

      Yes, I think you are right. They know the train will block the roads for a long time and maybe even stop. They are just too long

    our friend didn't stop at a crossing that only had a stop sign no signals, and the RR cops gave him a $400 ticket !!! Guess one should always obey. LOL Awesome video, so precious to see Chessie running up to the kids with her tail spinning. Can't believe how big Norfie has gotten too. I had to laugh when you said 'that guy needs therapy' LOL so true. Keep on filming and thanks for sharing.

    The motive power had some grunt JT. Dead stop to near road speed in the time the consist took to pass you! As for the runners, well, I only feel sorry for the loco crews when they happen to collect one of the idiots. A really good vid son.

    Great catch of the CSX and UP trains JT! I tell you these people that get so bent out of shape over a train is ridiculous! The trains have existed long b4 us and it's a part of life. I'm like you I'll sit and wait for a train anyday just to see it. The outros of Norfie and Chessie are always a great addition to your videos! Norfie reminds me of a freshly painted NS locomotive lol. And Chessie is definitely a fan of the trains too! Thanks again JT for another great video!

      Chessie is funny. She knows when I am getting ready to leave and she flies out to my truck wanting to go. If I turn on a pocket scanner or get my keys she will instantly jump up and run to the truck.

    Awesome action JT. More driver impatience on full display, that’s why we have road rage. I didn’t know trains could move so slowly wow. Another huge manifest, holy cow. I’m a fan of big trains, but this is ridiculous lol. Thanks for sharing JT. U the man. 👍🏼

    • @JawTooth

      No, the wasps were kind of fun. There was a guy about a week or so ago in my county who accidentally cut into a nest while he was in a tree cutting branches. The television news said he got stung 20,000 times. It made national news also. I heard the hole thing on my scanner.

    Unless you lived in Southern California like I did... the unwritten code is that this doesn't really qualify as 'road rage' unless shots were fired. Have a nice Sunday, Señor Jaws. Gracias por tu video, RT sends, Puebla, México...

    Hi Brian! Burning rubber in Caprice whale car wagon? That car must be 30 years old! I guess he/she/it figured on breaking something on it after all those decades. Chessie looked so excited to see your grandson at the end, that she started running sideways. Great railfaning video by the way, LOL!
