36 is definitely not a good wrestlemania but I wouldn't be able to add it to the list because they couldn't make it better if they tried with the circumstances
Exactly. It shouldn’t really count lmao
of course they could have: Getting rid of Vince McMahon sooner!! That would have solved a lot of issues and possibly even Triple H would have avoided his heart issues at that point!! Vince was clearly the problem then, now and forever
Was just going to say that. Mania 36 is kind of an outlier because everything that made it bad was out of their control
@@mageside off topic
Yeah, I feel bad for bashing this Mania
Shocked no one said Wrestlemania 4. 16 matches,2 of them only went over 10 mins, 10 went 6 mins or shorter. Absolute slog to watch
its nostalgia for me. i think the first ppv i watched when i was young was wm3. granted i havent watched it in years but i still remember the tournament fondly
Was that the WWF championship tournament mania?
@@HBO2001 Yes
@@arthurrhodes3215 I get it. My first WM was WM2000. even though it’s disliked by many I still watch it back every now and then.
Yeah Wrestlemania 4 is in my worst Wrestlemania list. Such a painful watch.
Luke putting WrestleMania 28 at #3 on the worst WrestleManias list is a hotter take than putting Steiner Math at #1 on the best promos list
It's egregious, honestly. End of an Era alone should exempt it from this list. Imagine putting 28 lower than 11.
@@drexeldragon1723 Fact that nobody put Mania 9 in the top 3 is wild
@@drexeldragon1723 I'm sorry man, I recently watched that match because wrestling fans and list on TH-cam constantly sing the praises of that match. I was watching with the video sped up, because it bears repeating. The match was good. After 25 miniutes. The ending of Taker kicking out of both Michaels and Trips finishers is really the only thing that match is really remembered for.
Personally it's on my top 10 hated list but 3rd worst is a tad stupid. The card only had taker and hhh that lived up to its hype
WM 4 should’ve been in that spot.
Luke picking 28 is WILD…..
legit, sure the undercard is mid as hell but punk/jericho, rock/cena and end of an era are good enough to carry it to at least a 7/10
He is a contrarian
It’s not one of the best manias but it’s definitely not 10 worst
idk i rewatched it recently and it is NOT good lmao
Luke putting WM 28 at #3 is as mind-meltingly baffling as the Stache Club Wrestling guys not knowing about the My Way video package
I feel like I'm always shocked but they're more ruthless aggression era fans right? Maybe even later
@@kashtrey They are Ruthless aggression era fans. I'm not a wrestling fan, I just happen to watch their stuff because it's very entertaining to see them mess up on wrstling trivia. Btw, we need to have them on Survival series.
They are pg era fans they started watching i think in 08@@kashtrey
28 on here by Luke is crazy
Yeah, utter bollocks
fr
28 is like a good 3/5, the headline matches delivered and nothing else really mattered
HUGE sneak lmao
Dondon't understand at all.
36 needed an asterisk because of the circumstances. I DID enjoy the distraction during the pandemic and they were able to do things outside the box with Firefly and Boneyard that wouldn't have happened otherwise. Wouldn't have put it on the list imo. So many early manias could have replaced it.
Yeah I think Boneyard and Firefly funhouse alone takes it out of the bottom 10 and I also think Rhea and Charlotte have an excellent match.
Didn't find it a distraction tbh, more of a reminder that we couldn't go to anything
If someone other than Tempest was on this episode I don’t think 36 would have made top three as it did here. He is too much of a wrestling first purest to allow the Boneyard and Firefly Funhouse Match to “carry” the mania out of a worst position.
Wrestlemania 4: “I’ve never done anything wrong in my life”
Pete, Luke, & Tempest: “We know.”
I think their reaction would be more like: "...oh yeah you exist, I forgot"
The fact that a Wrestlemania with a full capacity crowd was so bad it got ranked worse than a pandemic-era one with no crowd speaks to how absolutely terrible that Mania was. So glad I wasn't keeping up with wrestling as well back then.
27 is the worst Mania.
36 had circumstances beyond its control, 32 had injuries to Cena/Orton/Rollins/Bryan.
27 OTOH has no such excuses.
32 could still work if they let more of the faces win, or if they’d built some of their wrestlers better, or if Reigns/HHH was about 80% shorter. It was definitely a cursed show, but they did themselves no favours
Is now the wrong time to say I loved wrestlemania 25 unironically? (Aside from the Santina stuff)
25 is over hates because of Santina and the main event. Everything else is at least ok or better
No, me too, it was the first Wrestlemania I ever watched.
Same, it was my first mania and it has a special place in my heart
@@MrSamBerrett1 no bro 25 sucked stop it
I was there so no 😂😂😂😂
The fact that no champion at the end of Wrestlemania 31 was on Wrestlemania 32 due to injury is baffling
Also Luke having 28 even in the top 10 is just wild
Wrestlemania 28 at 3 for Luke shocked me. I thought it was amazing
really?? 28 was ok
I mean, compared to 27 and 29, 28 was beautiful 😂@@vampirascoffin870
4:33 See I disagree with Tempest and Luke here. Going into Mania 25, Randy Orton/Legacy vs Triple H/The McMahon family was *the* hottest angle going on TV and was almost single handedly carrying Raw at the time. Yes they massively fucked up the payoff by a) having this be just a regular 1v1 instead of a weapons filled war and b) not having Orton win but still, at that moment in time it made sense for it to main event
Agreed it should have just been hell in a cell
Hell in a cell OR an I quit match
Triple H vs Orton had been done to death already much before that. 9 months before that Mania, they were having Steel Cage and LMS fights. No matter how much you dress up the build, there was just no interest in seeing them lock up again.
@@ritangshubhattacharya1654 See, I disagree with that because while it had been done before, the build to the match a lot of people found so intriguing and compelling that they were all in to see them beat the hell out of each other at Mania. The problem, said before was that it should've been a No Holds Barred, anything goes, Unsanctioned match and let the two go all out but instead they made it so that if Triple H got disqualified, he would lose the title, resulting in them just having a normal match which nobody wanted. It also didn't help the fact that it went on after Undertaker vs HBK which was so good that it would've been hard for any match to follow it up.
@@donazard8884 I love HHH and he was my favorite Superstar from the attitude era but making it a stip match would've done nothing to make the match more memorable. HHH thinking he could outwork taker/hbk was always a bad decision fueled by ego.
It's sad how WrestleMania 36 could've been one of the best WrestleManias, but ended up being one of the worst, that just shows you how important fans are to wrestling
1:29 Theyre crazy if they really think the Iron Man Match is really bad tbh. Like, is it the best iron man match, no, but it isnt a bad match. I just dont understand how people can say its some horrible match, when it isnt.
Ik its opinion based and not everyone has the same opinion, but its a great match actually. Like recently as the years go on i hear more and more and it makes 0 sense to how they call it a horrible match
Wasn't expecting to get jumpscared by Dave Chapelle partway through this video lol
I’m gonna be honest, and I might be in the minority on this, but I was really put off by the use of what I imagine was a transphobic joke by Chapelle? While the line “What is a woman?” works great in context for the joke WT was making, hearing that out of Dave’s mouth I can only think of his transphobia. It genuinely took me out of the video for a bit. I know WT/PFK/NRB try to be and are very inclusive and supportive, so I wasn’t expecting to encounter that here. I truly love everyone there, and I support both NRB and WT on Patreon; I’m not really mad about it, but I do hope that clip and others like it won’t continue to be part of their editing techniques in the future.
@@OnABedOfSticehonestly I’m glad you said this because I was literally just about to myself
@@OnABedOfStice If a small clip like that offends you, you might be the problem.
@@TheDutchDude532 I mean, yeah, transphobia offends me. If that makes me the problem then okay 🤷🏻♂️
@@OnABedOfStice it’s being a snowflake that’s the problem, it’s a comedian. If he tells a joke it doesn’t make him transphobic, it means you can’t take a joke. Isn’t the point of the whole lghdtv stuff that they want to be included? Well then don’t start crying when you’re also included in a joke by a comedian.
How Mercedes Mone didn't win the women's championship at mania 32 is beyond me.
RIGHT?!
Mercedes mone wasn’t on wrestlemania 32 you must be confusing her with her second cousin Sasha banks
@@dnm1499 I'm used to calling Mercedes mone now.
@@samdath3439you’re some knob
With what we had and what was going on in the world... Wrestlemania 36 was great. I understand and agree with the fact that it's hard to watch back and I probably will never do that again but it still made me forget about the shittiness of the pandemic for a brief moment.
So I can’t defend Mania 27 rationally, but it was my first one. And I got to watch my best friend get more and more pissed off, so it just gives me warm feelings to this day.
And The Miz’s video package rules.
I was there live so like I can’t hate the whole show a lot of it was dreadful but like it still had some good stuff in it. And yes that video package was fantastic
not to mention in hindsight the whole idea for Taker vs. Shane at HIAC was so Shane could control RAW. Why do you need a HIAC for that? And then the next night on RAW....Vince doing his Vince thing went and gave it to Shane anyway after he lost. So now, that half hour long HIAC match WAS FOR NOTHING.
I disagree with 28 and 36 been here in the list
28 was ok but not great
I feel like im the only Pandemic Mania Apologist. _It awkward but could've been worse._
Nah it was fun, they just have bad taste, especially having it that low
It was fun and kinda broke the monotony we had during those early pandemic days
Pleasantly surprised that WrestleMania 4 was left off entirely.
To me 36 gets too much hate. The circumstances were unimaginable. They did the best they could and the effort alone makes that show exempt to me.
Meanwhile 9 was under-hated here. 9 is so, so bad.
I dont know if its just because it was my first Wrestlemania, but i love 28. I don't understand the hate it gets
It isn’t just that, it’s a genuinely good Mania these lads just miss sometimes lol, I swear people remember main events and nothing else
Yep, I was there live for Wrestlemania 28. I thought it was a great show
That's how I feel about 12 and 9 never watched back but as a kid I enjoyed both...
The only good couple things about WM27 is HHH coming out to Metallica, and just Stone Cold Steve Austin being there
I get the hate behind mania 27 with Miz and Cena main eventing and Lawler vs Cole. But there is some good matches on that card:
Punk vs Orton
Cody Rhodes vs Rey Mysterio
Edge vs Notable Prick Alberto Del Rio
Triple H vs Undertaker
I know its not a good show but i'm not having it be the worst when you have Mania's 2, 4, 9, 11, 32 and 34 have a less total of good matches than 27
Wrestlemania 32 was my first wrestling Pay-Per-View, and I don't know why I continued to be a wrestling fan afterwards.😅
Cos you had no point of reference lmao
My first was 31, so this was A Thing
Luke saying HHH vs Taker at 27 blows is baffling to me
I wonder where Pete put Mania 39 Night 2?
Well they would rank both nights as one but if we did them separately I’d probably actually put it worse than either of 36’s nights, nobody went over , omos (I don’t care if win or lose) to go down with a single f5 in 5mins and auska going 0-4 at mania , and the never ending story due to the same bloodline bullocks
0:05 One day, Stairs will be involved
Top 10 worst gimmick matches???
I'm waiting for Tables & Stairs, Lists!
Best/Worst weapons in wrestling
Luke putting Mania 28 on the list is crazy to me...but the crazier part is how vastly undersold how bad 9 and 11 are. Those shows are ass! Also 4 should've been at least mentioned somewhere
0:01 - 0:05 that joke becomes more funnier every time...
I'm so glad Edge's career didn't end with WrestleMania 27.
Because I think 27 got a lot of slack, before 2020, for being Edge's last show. And then he came back at the Royal Rumble! And Adam Copeland is STILL GOING!
So now we can hate on WrestleMania 27 *properly*.
I understand why you put 36 there but it’s very harsh because it’s not their fault and they did their best with what was given
I love you guys, but talking down on Bret and Shawn at WM12 hearts me heart! 😢 I still enjoy that match lol.
WM 27 is made worse by the fact that Miz was concussed, ruining the planned finish. And McMahon basically going, “We gotta finish, so dammit kid, finish!” Dude didn’t know where he was and was essentially told to keep banging his body around. And damn John Cena for making that spot happen the way he did. He could have (and should have) had Miz come down off the barricade so he wouldn’t slam Miz’s skull off the concrete. The match was sloppy to start, didn’t get any better. No real highlights to anything from that show.
It’s sad because I feel like if WM36 happened outside of COVID it would’ve gone down as one of the top five greatest of all time
0:36 *GENERAL KENOBI?!*
Yes that is the joke
Luke doesn’t get more talk about 28 shouldn’t be on this list. He gave one reason for it being on the list, and it was a filler tag match. Nothing else
Solid list as usual, chaps. Although If I'm honest, I'm hoping your next few lists shift away from best/worst PPVs as I do feel that a chunk of these picks turned up in your other list videos before now. I have my fingers crossed for Top 10 Best/Worst Factions in future.
I disagree with Mania 8 being on here, it had two great matches in Piper vs Bret and Flair vs Savage and Ultimate Warriors return
There's plenty of Manias that didn't even have two great matches so I agree, it shouldn't be on here.
Also through the first couple matches the card seems actually good. Like taker vs Jake was OK. Martel vs michaels OK to. 8 was better than 4,7 and 6
TLC list of best wwe/aew debuts ever. Could have some good lists here! Awesome videos gents!
As an old school fan since the early 80's, Wrestlemania 8 cheated the fans of the Dream Match between Hogan and Flair for the WWF title. Back then it was who was better, Hogan or Flair. You could tell from the fans at that Wrestlmania and at home that the WWF screwed up huge. Mind you, they built up Wrestlemania 8 for that dream match and 2 weeks later changed paths due to Hogan admitting steroid use. That match STILL could've been done because nobody cared that wrestlers were on steroids. We already knew that.
When I started watching wrestling again, 9 was universally accepted as the worst one. A year later, 27 happened and suddenly there was a debate. Now, 9 isn’t even in the top 5. That’s pretty sad.
So, I don't think anyone will see this but I would like to give some creative criticism. I absolutely love these lists/videos but I would love a little more explanation in the decisions. I'm someone who is a massive wrestling fan but don't remember all of these things or PPV's and I just don't want to be researching every choice so I can know that they are talking about. I do agree, most of the time it is fine, it's just some times, I would love more context.
Slightly funny story. I was at WrestleMania 27. I remember really enjoying myself.
had lots of drinks, I remember Cody vs Rey was a great match. I think Cody was starting or in the beginning of the Undashing story and had the mask. Good stuff
I unironically liked Jersey Shore at the time. So I remember Snooki doing a good looking handspring elbow in the corner.
I remember hating Cena at the time. So watching him lose in the main event to the Miz made me happy at the time
So now the twist. A big group of my friends went, but one guy couldn't make it because his job didn't approve his time off. So he watched it alone in TV. My buddies and I were talking with him the next day saying how great mania was and blah blah blah. He looked at us like we were crazy and said it was awful.
So one by one we all tried to rewatch it that week and slowly realizing how bad the show was.
TLDR: being there live and intoxicated in the crowd can change your viewing experience.
See Luke what you’ve failed to realize is that we can defend the Miz without trying to defend WrestleMania 27
Exactly
Bury 27 all u want but Taker vs HHH was the only shining star in that whole show.
Was it because of the chair shots to the head?
I’m bummed they never brought up the ic ladder match from 32. That match ruled, and Ryder winning was awesome.
It's funny because while I don't like WM27 in general, WWE has made me dislike more because of their inability to maintain licensing rights. Undertaker vs HHH was the only good match imo and a big part of what I loved about it was the entrances
HHH looking BADASS lit aglow as For Whom The Bell Tolls plays, Taker slowly walking to Johnny Cash. Awesome. And both edited in subsequent replays.
Without those what are you left with? An admittedly good but not match between the two and an admittedly all timer of a video package for Miz with Hate Me Now? Show is bad
I think the iron man match is awesome and Diesel vs Taker was a good big man match. 12 is no where near the worst mania.
0 mentions of WrestleMania 4?
Also 36 and 28 have no business being on this list
36 was awful. It will never be remembered for anything other than it being a boring show with no one in attendance during a period of time in the world when we were confined to house arrest.
@@BigWoody823 that's not WWE's fault though. It was a great watch at the time. And the cinematic matches are amazing.
I feel like it's kinda unfair to put it in the top 10. Especially when there are definitely worse WrestleManias
Just my opinion though
@@shachardahan1081 it is one of the most un-rewatchable manias there are…that puts it on my list.
@@BigWoody823I respect your opinion
@@shachardahan1081 same. Much respect.
Shame about WM36 because the Boneyard Match and the Firefly Funhouse Match especially are two of my favorite matches.
Saying the HHH V Taker match in 27 blows is fucking insane
Suffering from an insane hangover right now and i feel the headache cured as this video plays
9:11 Sauce-less Steve Austin is great 🤣
36 is a time capsule, it’s going to be fascinating to look back on in 10 years and a damn sight more entertaining than at least a quarter of other manias. Doesn’t deserve this ranking, similarly 2 needs as asterisk for the experiment - it’s the second mania and with that extremely early in PPV, it’s tough to really follow a guideline of what will work when you don’t have one established.
Mania 32 sucked. So I get it. But a dark horse for bad Manias is definitely 34. Goodness that was a tough one
I know im in the wrong here, but i kinda liked mania 34
A lot of wrong winners, sure, but hey, champions have to retain sometimes
Shinsuke and AJ, Asuka and Charlotte, and Brock and Roman are the only matches I’d change who won, but outside of those i think the show was pretty okay
Especially with Seth getting his IC title reign in that absolutely PERFECT opening match.
@@thatonek1duno Completely fair. It was a lot of factors that went into me not liking the show though
@@thatonek1duno34 doesn't deserve the hate it gets. IC opener was a banger. Asuka/Charlotte, despite the finish, was a great match. Nakamura/AJ was solid. It's not their fault that the fans hyped it up to be an 18-star classic. That's the fans' fault. Grade it on what it was, not on what you expected it to be. The mixed tag at this show was also incredible. Go back and rewatch it. It's a trip. And as shitty as the main event was, I actually popped when Brock won. I thought it was hilarious.
To this day, I still have not seen the main event of mania 32. I watched everything leading up to it, but I when triple h's entrance was over, I cut it off.
Honestly, not surprised that 36 is on the list. The grandest stage of tjhem all...in an era where a virus effectively placed almost every human being into house arrest. It's probably for that reason why 36 (and really just 2020 post-Elimination Chamber until MitB 2021) would be considered a bad time all around. That said, probably wouldn't have placed it in a podium finish though (9, 32 and 27 from Bronze to Gold for me)
To me, WrestleMania 36 is #0 on this list. It's the worst and something that I'll never watch again, but I also can't hold it against WWE since the circumstances were out of their control.
Wrestlemania 28 so high up on a list is crazy. I know all personal opinion. However Taker v HHH, Punk v Jericho and Cena v Rock should have kept it off, or not so high.
Also personally I think 36 deserves a pass just due to the circumstances surrounding it

Dunno why I imagine I would be in one of these videos, so instead I'll just wait for Luke to be in the middle seat to do what I would do: "Tables!" "Are Lists Actually Good?" "And Chairs!"
Every time I think about the main event of WrestleMania 27, I think about Miz getting a concussion and don't remember the match.
WM 2 would not have been on my top ten list because a) they were still in the "let's throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks" stage, and b) the Dream Team/Bulldogs match was absolutely a MOTY candidate. That said, with the steady growth of PPV even then, it was less a new concept in closed-circuit television or "satellite" television and more a last major push for it before PPV proved more profitable to promoters of all kinds than closed circuit TV.
Pete hating Wrestlemania 34 because he was trying to impress a girl and it didnt work is somehow very Pete
Wouldn't be surprised, since Mania is 2 nights now, if they experiment with holding one night in one city and the next in a neighboring city.
I’m expecting it, half in Saudi half in NY within 5 years
@@SimoSensaiUK the me to think of it, The Dub could have cities warring over who gets nights 2. A metric ton of money to be made there

luke saying the Triple H vs Taker match at WM 27 blows is a take you can fry some bacon on. and i do not agree with it. 27 is still an ass show. it was the first wrestlmania ive ever watched. but i will defend the undertaker match till my dying breath cause if it wasnt for that match i wouldnt have become a wrestling fan
I'm just gonna suggeat a TLC episode since it's Mania season: Top 10 Best/Worst WWE Title Matches held at Wrestlemania. No WHC or Universal Title matches, just the WWE Title. You really dig deep into some of the matches that happened with that belt on the line
Also, gotta agree wuth y'all. F**k Mania 27!
Can you all just leave the logos at the bottom of the screen for the whole time they are being discussed?
Just to help me keep clear what is being talked about and facilitate me googling things.
Wrestlemania 28 being on the list period is a wild take but to have it as 3rd worst?! Luke what are you smoking
Surprisingly enough, Wrestlemania 32 is one of my favourite Wrestlemanias
I don’t think 36 should be on here.. YES most of us WONT go back to watching it, but there was indeed a lot of good moments/matches…

Poor Tempest 😂
Quite literally, caught in the middle 🤣
34 deserves way way more hate nothing has brought me closer to giving wrestling up than that ending after everything when the crowd spent a half hour doing anything besides reacting to Brock Vs Roman 8823 Brock Wins ohhhhhh all of my hate.
28 is deceptively shit because it's between 27 and 29. Team Johnny Vs Team Teddy, Orton Vs Kane, Big Show Vs Cody, Bryan Vs Sheamus, the Maria Menunous match, CM Punk/Jericho not being THAT good, and the main event being divisive. Like there's actually almost nothing good here.
All we learned from this TLC is no one can stand michael cole

Luke is 100% right about the casual fans 😂🤝
36 is a good mania but I’d probably cry if I rewatched it
Would love to see you do this exact video for NXT Takeovers. Likewise I want to see every NXT Champion as a catergory for Survival Series.
The thing about doing Wrestlemania in multiple cities is that now, they actually can do that and have it work. Do Smackdown and Night 1 in one city, and Night 2 and Raw somewhere else. Maybe this is how they facilitate more overseas Manias, by doing an American city for one of the two nights, and London or Paris or Sydney or whatever the other night.
WrestleMania 27 was my very first Mania and while I was a big Miz fan at that point, the show is terrible. I loved it because I was 10 at the time but god it’s bad
Why is "twice in a life time" such a big deal to people? Very VERY few matches happen just once. Especially when they draw as much as they did.
Its because the WWE spent a whole year telling us that this match was once in a lifetime. If they didn't book Rock vs Cena at 28 as "Once In A Lifetime" this wouldn't be a problem. From Wrestlemania 27 all the way to 28, they couldn't stop themselves from telling us that it would be once in a lifetime or "never before, never again" all the while planning on doing it twice. Also really doesn't help that while the 1st one was fine, the second one wasn't. One of the wrestling's best examples of false advertising and since they effectively booked the main events of Mania 28 and 29 before 27 had even finished, they put themselves in a bind where if somebody got majorly over, the main events were already set, do it didn't matter how over the person got, they weren't main eventing. Usually, this wouldn't be a problem as this time period was prime "If you're not John Cena, Randy Orton or Brock Lesnar, you can go screw yourself" but then all of a sudden, CM Punk become the hottest thing in wrestling. While I do think Punk shouldn't main event 27 or 28, Punk absolutely should have been in the main event for 29
@@paulmoore5392 never before never again was for the survivor series tag match, and my thing is if a match drew THAT much money the first time, why not do it again? I agree 29 should've been punk vs Rock vs Cena, but crapping on a match just because it's a rematch makes little sense to me
I definitely agree about WrestleMania 9. WrestleMania 25 I was there and spent the entire last match texting my friends back home.
lol yeah, I was at WrestleMania 25 too. And even with attendance bias, I freely admit it was a mid Mania with 1 fantastic match in HBK vs Undertaker.
...Why on earth did they make Triple H vs Orton a regular ol' singles match with DQ? Even without knowing they'd have to follow an all-timer, it was a blood feud that had escalated to the point of home invasion. Baffles me.
@@A-Oh-Trey yeah the Undertaker and Shawn match was the best of the card. I did like the Jericho match because of how great Ricky 'the Dragon' (I honestly can't remember his last name) looked at his age.
@sheliamonette539 Oh yeah, getting to see Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat still go was neat too 'cause he was before my time as a wrestling fan, but I had always heard great things about him. MitB was fun as usual too. I also personally enjoyed Hardy vs Hardy, but I've always been more a Matt fan and know I'm probably in the minority there lol
@AyOhTrey I had too. When I got into wrestling it was because of the Von Erichs. My main reason to go was for the Hall of Fame to see them and Stone Cold be inducted.
MITB was fun. Matt and Jeff should have been given more time. I hated the build up to the match unfortunately.
@sheliamonette539 Nice! The Von Erichs were also before my time (didn't get into wrestling until '99/2000), but I've heard of them too as Texas legends. Saw The Iron Claw this year and have even more respect for what they went through now.
Also, agreed on the Hardy match build up. The implication of Matt being responsible for Jeff's house getting burned down was an...interesting choice lol
WrestleMania 27 & WrestleMania 32 was the Two Worst WrestleManias I ever watched 😭
Wrestlemania 34? There was so many good matches on this card, like you said the triple three intercontinental championship match was brilliant.
But then you had Charlotte flair vs asuka which is probably one of the greatest women wrestlemania matches of all time, yeah, the wrong person won, but it was still a great match.
Undertaker vs John Cena was a masterful display. I don’t care what anyone says for Cena to go down in under five minutes, just proves that the dead man is still legendary.
AJ Styles vs Nakamura still a very good match just not what people was expecting.
Rhonda Rousey debut tag match with Kurt angle, Triple H and Stephanie was amazing.
Daniel Brian’s return just that.
But no you don’t like it because you’re friend, who’s never watched wrestling got bored that sounds like a you problem.
Yea, "my friend who doesn't like wrestling didn't like this wrestling show" is an embarrassingly silly way to try and prove that a show was bad.
Revisiting this video because I went back to rewatch 36, and I do agree with Pete that 36 is full of great matches but the show is unwatchable. A personal note that hurts more is that COVID caused the pandemic shutdowns that gave us Mania 36, and it’s also the illness that led to the heart attack which killed the man behind the best match of that weekend. The one big plus of 36 is giving us the two-night Mania, which is still the best production change WWE has made in decades.
i agree to all of the list specially mania 32, man i remember how boring hunter vs blank, we sleep at that match
im with pete about 34. my friend had a huge party with people whod never seen WM before, and have never watched wrestling since. ill defend balor v miz v rollins to the hills, everything else is a no for me.
As a New Englander I can confirm, Hartford Connecticut sucks.
Spoilers:
Am I being gaslit by them placing 36 at 1 or 2?
Did the empty arena matches really hurt that much?
Its less about the quality of the matches as much as what they represent and the rest of the world at that time
Projecting the (understandable) depressed feeling we had during the pandemic onto wrestling, 36 was fun as fuck lol
Same, I quite enjoyed the empty arena matches. Granted, not having fans did hurt them, but I don't think that much?
I honestly cannot in good faith put 36 in the "Worst Mania ever" list because it was a situation that no one could have predicted would ever happen
Wrestlamania IX is the worst where Hulk Hogan defeated Yokozuna in an unscheduled match where the bell didn't even ring in 30 seconds
Another reason why mania 27 is worse is Miz and Cole keeps bringing it up
