I love the experimental side of you! You make me think of a girl scout and I like them and have wanted to be one of them for the rest of my life. When you tell us the "why" of things, they become things we remember forever.
On my experience, I tried ox bile 150 mg with my meals and doesn’t feel anything, then tried it right after meal give me a lot of diarrhea for 2 days, so after a while I tried again one hour after meal and seems to work. I started taking it December 5 and my TSH was 5.9 and on May 31 2024, my TSH went to .02 now am having symptoms of hyperthyroidism, don’t know if it’s related, and on July 15, stoped the supplement and waiting for blood test examination. Thank you for your excellent video
Thanks for the video, sounds reasonable. 👍 Does it work the same way with enzyme supplements? I feel that they slow down my digestion and motility. 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for your work 🙏
What would you recommend if you have a hiatus hernia? My doctor put me on PPi which I was taking for over 20 years, I have now stopped these, ( been off 3 months now) iv since been using gaviscon and ox-bile supplements, note I’m not interested in surgery
would love the experiement to be done on a prokenetic (ginger and artichoke), it gives me all the side effects you mentioned when i take it. seems to nutralize my stomach acid. i think its the ginger
Great video however, I am just curious, we know bile does not neutralize stomach acid & that this task is performed by the gallbladder squirting bicarbonate into the duodenum. So in the event that you are dealing with bile sludge & a potential blockage with the gallbladder, what can we do about the acidic food entering the duodenum? Is there a solution to ensure that the acidic food entering the duodenum is made alkaline in the event that the gallbladder is blocked & not squirting out the bicarbonate? I know we need to deal with the root cause of the blockage and that any intervention measures will usually be short term however, taking a bile supplement will be a solution for only one half of the problem, what about the acidic food entering the duodenum in the event that the gallbladder cannot squirt the bicarbonate?
Thanks for that, it gets confusing though. I watched a video where a practitioner said that your gallbladder also squirts out bicarbonate. So if the gallbladder is blocked with bile sludge there shouldn’t be a worry about acidic food entering the duodenum as the pancreas will neutralise this with the release of bicarbonate. Obviously the aim is to break down the bile sludge & get the gallbladder working optimally again. 😊
when your pyloric sphincter stays open because of stomach acid imbalance doesn't that bring bile back into the stomach causing inflammation/irritation?
Ultrasound identified, quote, "innumerable small gallstones!" Then I read, improve bile flow to dissolve. So rather than take Tudca or ox bile with food easing the gallbladder load, would it be better to preload my system away from eating?
Are you at all familiar with the work of microbiome expert guy daniels? He says that the genus lactobacillus is not helpful for dysbiosis and is in fact a bad actor in the situation . This comes as a big surprise to me, having spent three decades buying lactobacillus probiotics in the belief i was helping my gut. Do you have any thoughts on this? Thanks.
Question for ya. I have been trying to work on my gut health for sure and will continue. But just got told I have a UTI. These are the first antibiotics I've taken in yrs. How do we recover from antibiotics 😢
Can someone please tell me why I get stomach acidity (burning sensation) which leads to stomach pain during the night followed with multiple diarrhoea in the morning?
I heard there are a lot of people who don't have a gallbladder and do fine. you know reling on your liver that can do such things. I think It indicates another problem

Love all your pod cast
Excellent explanation. Plain and simple.
Maybe it’s low stomach acidity that isn’t triggering bile secretion and not lack of bile itself.
Yep this is correct, where were you when I needed that answer months ago
Thanks for clearing this up. Just saw a video saying the opposite!

I love your salty talk and sweet sweet knowledge bombs

I’ve been wondering this for so long. Thank you!
Oh, is it better to take OX bile before, during or after eating??
Thank you!

Which ox bile supplements do you recommend?
I may be an anomaly cause I took tudca once and that night in my sleep, acid came up my esophagus. So it definitely made my stomach more akaline.

Your pancreas secretes bicarbonate into the duodenum, also, and bicarbonate neutralizes stomach acid.

I get bad constipation whenever i use bile salts or tudca ..
Had horrible constipation when i took bile salts with food😢
so, you are saying an alkaline substance will not neutralize acid? Maybe the ratio was wrong.
So even alkaline water can't neutralize stomach acid? If you only drinks alkaline ph water
Dr. Berg said 2h after a meal, now i am confused
My Tudca supplement says "on an empty stomach"
Other doctors on TH-cam say the same thing. It makes sense to me, so I’m going with one to two hours after a meal.
It's 1 to 2 hrs after meal only she's completely wrong about this
@@Aibots777 if you think it’s wrong, you could’ve explained why
Take it on an empty stomach or 1-2 hours after a meal. If you get diarrhea, you’re taking too much ox bile/TUDCA
Question for ya. I have been trying to work on my gut health for sure and will continue. But just got told I have a UTI. These are the first antibiotics I've taken in yrs. How do we recover from antibiotics 😢
You need to re add good probiotics like kefir, sauerkraut kombucha also charcoal to sweep up dead bacteria
Can someone please tell me why I get stomach acidity (burning sensation) which leads to stomach pain during the night followed with multiple diarrhoea in the morning?
For the length of time on taking Ox Bile, what if I do not have a gallbladder? I guess I should take it for life, right?

Answer at 7:44😉
Thank you!!!
How about Betaine pepsin that you said was good to lower the acid? Now you are saying not to do that and just consider Ox bile?
Great video.
My gallbladder was surgically removed when I was a kid. Do I take OX bile temporarily or for the rest of my life?
