Don't apologize Freddy for it not being a high class production. We are honored to even have the perspective you have given us. Race is tuff at the best of times. Thank you for sharing this little insight into a high level of motorcycle racing.
The video was very well done, even with iffy sound. Racing is loud to begin with. Thanks for giving everyone a seat in the tent with all that happens at a race.
I was on the toilet when I started watching this video. I had to pause and wrap it up to play this on my 80” OLED to fit all that muscle on screen
😂
Really enjoyed watching the behind the scenes perspective. Best of luck at New Jersey!
Gonna watch the race now after your behind the scenes makes it twice as interesting
Awesome footage!! Thanks for all the behind the scenes that we take for granted and never really see!!
Our pleasure!
This was a great inside look at a demanding sport. Please do New Jersey if you can. Best, Allan
Thanks for doing this! I know dealing with a camera all weekend can be a pain sometimes but I’m extremely thankful for the content, really enjoyed it, and hope to see more!
Cool. The heat is unbearable this summer. Thanks interesting stuff.
I like the raw footage of this. Awesome
I mean i wouldnt be too hard on yourselves a P5 is impressive… you guys are legends!!
Thanks for the fly eyes view😊 Can still see him going down on that monsoon!
Great watch 👍👍👍🤙
Thank you for watching. The rider we worked with who rode in the monsoon at Barber was Jason Aguilar, who tragically passed away last year.
Thank you for great content. Cool to see the behind the scenes stuff on a race weekend!!
I was there and standing on the overhead bridge at the S's when Mathew layed it down in one of the practices.
I was immediately bummed for him as he's one of the guys I pull for every weekend.
The heat was brutal, I can't imagine being in full leathers riding a heat machine at 110*f.
Thanks for the insightful video!
Insider view is fuel for the fire. It's extremely exciting to get to look inside to see the hard work that goes into it.
Awesome video and I loved it and learned a lot...I will be routing for Westby Yamaha and Mathew Scholtz. I had no idea you could make some may adjustments...WOW and Keep up the good work.
What a massive effort from everyone involved. I am thourghly enjoying this.
This has to be some of the best racing content I have seen. Keep it up!
Always love watching the videos and great to see behind the scenes footage of what you guys actually do to make the wheels keep turning! People don’t realize the time and dedication it actually takes to be competitive. Great job and team work. One of the many reasons I only use SBU for all my motorcycle needs!
Thanks Freddy, some great insight.
Can't thank you and the team enough for taking the time to let us see a glimpse of what goes on. Incredible! Look forward to more.
Appreciate behind the scenes very much! Looking forward to more. Overdo seeing content like this, thank you! I hope it brings my riders into the sport.
It was great! Thank you
Great insight - thanks Freddie 👍
Thank you for the inside look at racing , having been to road Atlanta in person you still don't see all that goes into all the work. Just keep kicking it and the wins will come , you guys and girls have a great package and a great rider.
A really great video showing the "behind the scenes" perspective of
the very high pressure you all are under at a MotoAmerica event. I really
enjoyed watching the entire video. The sound quality is not a problem for
me knowing how loud it can get a any racing event. I sure hope you do more
videos like this one. Well done and thanks!
Keep yourselves safe! 😃👍❤🏍
Randy
Great video, thanks for the insight, seems yours and SBU's partership with Westby is even greater than ever this season. Have seen you in paddock almost every race thus year with them!
Freddy manages their electronics completely, so we will be at all races and test events!
One of my favorite rider/bike/leathers/helmet combos ever 🔥✨
Awesome! Wesby racing does a great job! I've been watching you guys for years and you just get better and better. That's amazing, racing is one of the toughest jobs/sports there is, and we appreciate everything you all do to bring us the best racing on the planet! Big ups to Matthew and the whole crew. Keep rolling!
Fantastic to see some of the behind the scenes stuff. It's really cool to get to understand what a team gets up to in the garage where you make it all happen! Thanks for pulling back the curtain a bit so we can see your jobs! Oh, and keep up the great work! Also the bikes coming up the front straight sound absolutely fearsome!
This was great. Thanks for sharing all this. I will definitely watch another when you do it.
MotoAmerica showed you in the Superbike race video they put up on TH-cam. “No way that’s Freddie!”🤣 Super cool.
Great content as always Freddie 👍👍👍👍
Loved this, a detailed workaround of the bike would be great :)
Noted!
dint actually know you had a team on track. I am a client, but seeing this gives a comfort that what you sell is actually from a racer who understands what the are giving their clients.
Thank you. We've been racing at some form or another for about 10 years now, but for sure this season is the highest overall level of technical level and rider capability that we've been involved with.
Liked the video, it actually takes you firsthand to the race. A lot of post production eliminates the raw experience of the actual event. Kudos
This is amazing. I use SBU and Matthew is my favorite rider!! thanks for posting this!
Awesome! US SBK is gaining ground and it's needed.. Imagine if it was as popular in the US as in SP/IT? All this type of hard work is what's needed plus the streams by MotoAmerica! Bravo!
Really enjoyed this
This is great content. The behind the scene insights is super interesting. More please 🎉🎉🎉
this was an amazing view enjoyed every minute super cool please do more ...and some race footage in there aswell would be really 👍 good thanks team
Great content great job thanks for sharing
Good luck this weekend Homie
Much appreciated. Hammer down, for sure!
Started the video with a gun show 💪
do you think the big swamp cooler fans were making any difference? if not, maybe cuz the bay doors were open eh? hehe. but yeah, always good to see another SBU vid drop, im a simple man, myself.
All I can say is wow. This was absolutely amazing I love the Westby Racing Team ,and Mathew has been my favorite racer for years ,and years. I am not sure what you need to do to make this happen more often but, you defiantly have a sub & like from me.
What a Boytjie Mathew
Can we get that aluminum motorcycle work table at SBU? That’s a great alternative to a lift table
I never understood how some riders could wear leathers without an under-suit the i would always get stuck in the suit if i tried that lol… with an under-suit the suit doesn’t stick to me which is way more comfortable when on the bike and i feel the under-suit keeps you cooler on hot days too… especially if you mist yourself down with some water b4 putting your suit on.
loved this - awesome to get an inside look into the chaos. what bodywork is the westby team running? i need a new set...
Stay tuned on that, we will have something available soon!
@@SuperbikeUnlimited also, any idea who makes the foldable motorcycle table? i could use one for my garage. the only company i found in the US that makes them is Apex.
Leave it to Freddy to do what Moto A should have done all along.
I love Scholtz! He had some bad luck this season. That sucked!
I can see how that flamin red ducati of Josh's was running at 110c. What's that V4R putting out, like 245whp like they claim? Yeah, that's almost a fire-breathing factory motor. Pretty hard to compete with on a purely hp basis.
Awesome video, why do they plug an external battery in for start up?
We use a very small battery on the bike.
36:48 Mate is sucking his pants in the millwaukee 🤪
I wonder what it would take for a skilled tech to participate in a team of this caliber?
Send in a resume to our email!
How hot do the bikes get sitting on grid after warm up lap before race start? Do some people shut off the bike for a sec and coast to their grid and then restart when the green flag comes out and lights go red?
Depends on how long they hold them. No one restarts, it’s too risky. Usually around 100c /212f
@@SuperbikeUnlimited got ya. So I assume motoA is little quicker then Wera with the starts. Sometimes my rr-r gets up to 112c and it drives me nuts. Almost wanna shut the bike off and pull of the grid. Not trying to blow a 10k motor for a club race. But I’ll be doing couple motoA stock1000 rounds next year. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Heat soak without coolant circulation.
So Bluetooth, no cable for data acquisition?
We download using a cable, yes.
Shit bro! Jacked asf!
😂 The uniforms do a good job of hiding any musculature!
