Can you use this irig without the power supply or is that mandatory if your phone is already fully charged?

If you’re having static issues it’s whatever source you’re using to output your audio. It also depends on your overall mix of your music and the volume of your iRigStream and audio interface.

straight to the point and super helpful. I do have one questions. What is the configuration if you do not have headphones with a built in microphone. I have a podcast mics and other mics that could plug directly into the interface.
If you have a set up like that, then you’re good to go. I do that all the time.

I’m using the iRig stream and focusrite as well I did exactly what you instructed except I have my mic plugged into the focusrite I’m unable to hear my audio through OBS I only hear my phone audio only through the headphones on the iRig and not OBS I can only hear my microphone working through OBS Question how do you hear the audio from the phone/IRig using OBS ?

Heads up : Instagram sums to mono and the Jack output is mono only, your phone's mic jack input is mono aswell.
Awesome! I saw your other video for the iRig 2. Im trying to freestyle with the instrumentals playing in the background and also having my mic on, while also having the viewers hear both the music and mic feedback. Should I get the iRig 2 or the IRig Stream? Do they do the same thing for what I need? I got a little confused at the end of this video because you said the music was playing through the speakers, and not running through the Rig Stream.

Thanks! I have a ProMackieFX mixer. So that would connect to my computer for the instrumentals to play off of, the 2 male cables go in the back of the rig stream, the adaptor side goes into my headphones output on my mixer, my mic is plugged into my mixer, I would be able to hear my mic and beats, as well as the audience would be able to hear my mic with beats? Thanks for the clear concise video & explanation. One question: Do I need to load drivers onto my Android phone for this to work? When I went to the IK site to register and download drivers it basically said my Android (Velvet) was "too new" for the drivers. I'm just going to create videos to upload to TH-cam/etc. w real-time high-quality audio via RCA jack inputs on iRig Stream Pro~ no live-streaming. Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!
Excellent question. So I’ve never ever downloaded any drivers in order to use the iRigStream. Currently I’m using the iPhone 14 Pro. I use the iRigStream to record high quality audio videos to share with my friends & family. All I have to do is plug and play.

Great video my guy. I have a quick question for you. I'm trying to go live on TikTok with the iStream, but I'm only getting the audio when I'm using IK's iRecorder App on my phone. I've even selected the setting for it to run in the background but as soon as I leave that app I lose audio. Then it will come in for a few seconds and go away. I'm on Mac using Monterey and an Apollo X4 with all the proper cables. Any help is appreciated.

Good question. I used a Nikon DSLR camera for video and audio. However, it’s easier to sync your iRig device into your smartphone. But do not buy a Nikon Camera for video trust me! Thanks for watching!

I am a musician and I want to be doing live streaming with my keyboard connected to my DAW. I will like to use my iPhone 13 pro max for video and I will like my audio to hear my voice, another singer, and my keyboard.

Hello thank you great vid. I successfully streamed on Instagram but am wondering what other apps one can record on or to. For example it isn’t capturing the sound to my TH-cam video live, and doesn’t record sound to the actual video recorder in iPhone both are just phone mic audio. Hello loved your video. I connected Irig stream to my pc and turned music on to Groove music. At first I could not hear any thing. Then I went to VLC and started playing KIM. Cameo was playing on Groove music. Everything started to play so decided to record. Cameo recorded from pc but I did not hear VLC with Kim. My question is why didn`t I hear anything til I played VLC on my phone?
Tell me step by step how you connected the iRig Stream to your pc. Then I can answer your question. But did you connect your iRig Stream just like my video? Do you have an audio interface? I'm familiar with the VLC meda player but I need to first know how your equipment is setup.

@@SenecaTyree so I connected my Behringer 404 and plugged Irig rca to headphone adapter on mixer. Phone was already connected. On the pc I turned on music app. I couldn't hear anything so I turned on VLC. When. finally heard anything both players were doubling . I have the results but can't share on here. I decided to try again later with my Zoom L8 to see if that will work. Tell me what you think please sir.
Can I run my instrument, aux device and microphone through my small PA then line out to the irig stream. Then irig to phone. Then have head phones coming from the irig

i currently have the irig pro I/O and wanted to know if the irig stream will be better for me. I have a mg 16 mixing board which runs all my music and mics thru the aux on the mixer which sent everything thru the irig pro into my iphone so i can stream live on instagram live. Should i keep the irig pro or change over to the irig stream ? Thanks in advance
I say do what works best for you. Both devices do the same thing. Of course each device may have a slightly different function or better performance and features. Thank you for watching.

No it doesn’t have to be powered. But I highly recommend that your phone be fully charged. The iRig Stream drains your phone battery power.

Great question.
It actually does record in stereo. But it all depends on how you’re using the device (IRig) and what the settings set to. I never recorded in reels before.
Nice video. If I plug my studio headphones directly into the headphone jack on the irig will I be able to hear everything coming from my audio interface that is connected to my computer? For example, I am using a focusrite audio interface with a professional studio mic that’s connected to my computer.
If you’re do exactly as I stated in this video then most definitely you should have the same results.

Sound Quality depends on the user. Meaning if your overall volume and mixing is bad before connecting the iRigStream then you should fix that issue first. Turn down audio interface volume, monitor it through headphones first then if the audio is good take headphones off and start playing live. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!

What is the purpose of the focusrite soundcard? You can also send audio directly from your cumputer to irig stream with an stereo jack-rca cable ,right ?
You need an audio interface to monitor your sound professionally by using studio grade speakers. But I suppose you can use just the iRig plugged into your pc or laptop. All depends on what you’re doing

When I record something on tiktok eg playing a melody or chords via midi controller and then listen to it back the audio is slowed down and out f sync. Do u have any idea what may be causing that?

This used to work for me until updates made my two way audio feed whilst playing music (studio to artist and having a conversation) into a one way feed, so either the incoming or outgoing audio (random) is now clear, whilst the alternate audio sounds distorted.

I've never had issues when on Instagram. Funny thing is people are having serious problems with TikTok. Not sure why. Most of my viewers with TikTok issues own iPhones. I've never used the iRig Stream with whats app live.

Wassup man, great video, I seem to be having an issue when I’m on Instagram live and someone decides to join, it’s like the irig stream pro just stops working, anybody else have that issue?
I’m not sure what the issue might be. But you definitely have to put your phone on airplane mode and put in do not disturb. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!
