In this video you will find our experience setting a security cameras system up, with Full HD Dahua and Hikvision cameras connected with a DVR (Digital Video Recorder) known as pentahybrid.
You will observe how to connect your mobile device to your cameras with just an active internet connection using the P2P system offered by Dahua.
Among the various possibilities of this DVR, lies the ability of recording on an NVR, connecting IP Cameras and cameras that send video in different formats, which makes this device very Plug&Play like.

Dahua security camera system is truly easy to install, while HDCVI cheap, but it's also dying, the DVR image is quiet odd, Dahua official not sell online as I know?
When I connect my camera to my mobile app in this case gdmss plus it works only on local wirless if I connect to another wirless the cameras fails
Youi may have linked it to the local IP address. Just go to the p2p network in the DVR and activate it, then may sure it says "registered". Then delete in the app the system you already had and add it again by selecting "add", then enter the serial number of your DVR, and enter the username and password. It will locate it whereever it is in the world and let you access remotely as long as you are connected to the internet.

I have one recommendation though. Why didn't you introduce the camera specs more, pros & cons? Do these cameras have motion sensor, night vision, how about the functionality, etc.?

In the app of dahua gDMSS PLUS recording is shown for 1 hour only. How can we change to view all recording.
Hello Fahad, in the DAHUA App, you will choose Video, video PlayBack, and before you select the camera, choose the time frame from the upper right icon, which should not exceed 72 hours. Then you will just slide to watch the exact time. If it is not there, it may be due to a low sensitivity motion senson trigger. Go to settings and increase sensitivity if that is the case.
you are using an Ethernet-UTP cable to connect between the camera and the dvr ? i thought UTP cable for ip camera to connect to nvr only ? DVR with analog camera are not working with coaxial cables with BNC conectors?
Hi, exactly as you described it. We used to connect cameras with the DVR using a coaxial cable, and depending on the environment and interference we still do. However using video balun adapters (amzn.to/3hd9uJS) you can switch prom BNC connector to UTP cable which will let you work pretty long distances too. That way you can save on cabling as with a common UTP cable you can connect up to four cameras (video only). Other alternatives include siamese cabling (amzn.to/3WoYjwT) and All in One cables (amzn.to/3VOddfU). Thanks for watching our videos!
Hi, if you have a DVR with 4 channels and you only have 2 cameras, can you make the monitor show only two of the four channels at the same time?
Hi! default views of most DVRs include 1, 4 cameras, 9 cameras, 16, 24 or 25 and 32, but not 2 as they would look distorted. So basically yes, you would see two used and two in black.
@@momentosdetecnologia Thank you! I did notice that most reviews on the product where people bought the 4 channel 2 cam set showed their monitor having 2 unappealing vacant black boxes on top.
Mine got no sound or voice on it any ideas
Remember that for voice to be heard, the microphone input has to be associated with a specific camera, once you do that, all recording from that camera will include sound from the microphone, wherever you install it.
Does the green video mean it's recording?
Hi, when recording cameras will show a small green recording Icon in the bottom of each camera preview. If there is a small motion icon, the recording file will be flagged as a motion event.

How did you connect pc?
To connect your PC you can use the program called SmartPSS available from Dahua's web site. For your phone our recommendation is their App called DMSS which is fantastic.
And how to connect? I have an old machine with cameras installed how can I make it work? Should I create account somewhere?
I mean what type of cable do I need for PC connection? USB?
And for having remote connection from my mobile do I need to pay on any static IP service? Or is there a free option out there?
