i am using cat 4 cable with this balun... is this suitable for camera?

I highly recommend to start using Cat6 Cables.

Do you mean the cameras or the baluns? The cameras cost 25-35% less that the IP cameras.

Probably you are right! I could have done the video with only 1 camera and the dvr...
