- David Warner said he may never play for his country again as he tearfully apologised Saturday over the ball-tampering scandal which has had deep repercussions for Australian cricket. Warner has been banned from international and domestic cricket for 12 months by Cricket Australia (CA), having been deemed to have instigated the plan to ball-tamper during the Newlands Test against South Africa last weekend. I can see the changes which had happened to warner since he came back from ban. He now plays for Australia and knows its his privilege that he plays for australia. Which is enough. I don't think that warner has done something wrong off the field for which he was banned. He was banned for the sandpaper incident which happened ON the field and now he has improved his ON field behaviour. Nobody cared how he behaves off the field.
The best part is, Warner turned out to be more cooler after this incident, his maturity level has increased and so the respect on him, now he is a true gentleman and I can just wish good luck for his career and life.
