Watched the whole match & must admit Lara at 50 & Gilly at 48 looked the most fittest out of all. It appeared that they could fit into a national side right away.
I think Lara and Gilchrist at the age of 48-50 can still give young players run for their money. Its unbelievable how effortless cricket they play even at such an age.
There was a time where I used to wake up early in the morning to watch the match between IND vs AUS....... Anyone here called as 90’s kid???? Who got big memories
Hey Narren i used to wake up to watch every single match of Australia at between 4.30 am to 5.00 am n i still remember those cold winter mornings here in north India and the Legend Australian cricket team with the players - from Justin Langer to Glenn McGrath. I miss my childhood so badly. At the time of typing all these, i m literally crying man. TV me Australia team ko itna zyada follow krta tha ki subah apne aap neend khul jati thi 4.30 baje tak aur kitne bar to me school bhi ni jata tha. And in the evening time when we all kids used to go in the park for playing cricket i just used to try to copy all the 11 players batting -bowling -fielding style like Gilchrist- Ponting -Symonds- Hayden k khelne ka tarika and Brett Lee- McGrath-Gillespie- Kasprowicz ki bowling ka action, Ponting Symonds ki fielding style all copy. Saddest thing is that i m almost 28 now and whenever i go to my hometown ,where i spent my childhood with all my friends, mujhe sirf vo lamhe hi dikhayi dete h ankhon k samne ab na koi friends h na vo purane din na vo samay sab kuch badal gya . No one like Lara!
I thought
It was only done so after very tragic reasons... Why couldn't they do this as a one off normally
Only if Shoaib akhtar was there too, would have have made it just 1 notch better.
That was fantastic. Can’t believe Lee can still chuck it down at 120km+, just phenomenal.
I reckon he was holding back!
He can still bowl 130+
I reckon he could still hit 140 for a couple overs
Shoab akhter said that he can bowl 135to 140
He was jogging in. Could easily put another 20k's on the ball if he wanted.
