That definitely could have been what they were making. I think it's a great little find. Thanks so much for watching this one, Gordon and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
I swear, sometimes the gravitational pull of the earth or the way the stars are aligned just make signals pop. That's why we go back over and over and keep finding stuff. Well done!
Haha I definitely agree with that, Charlie. It was an amazing day and I didn't want to stop swinging that coil out there. Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
It's definitely worth the money and I have been having a blast with it out there. I know some people like to contest that a machine can make a difference at times but this one definitely did at this old test park of mine. It's a sweet machine. Thanks so much for watching this one Chris and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
Finding old and rusty tools are some of my favorite finds. They make for great display pieces. I especially love the old plumbing wrenches and pliers for whatever reason.
I can understand that Adrien! They look amazing displayed and they have great character. Hatchet heads are a particular favorite of mine. Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
I am thoroughly impressed with it too and I hope you're buddy is enjoying his. Hope you're doing well my friend and best of luck the next time you get out. Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
I love them too, Earl. One of the best designs the US has ever minted. Sometimes I get lucky with the zoom and focus out there! LOL Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
That is really great to hear Eric and I love putting the finds in a historical context using the old photos that can be tied to what was just found. "History makes the find a treasure!" Really glad you enjoy the format of my episodes. Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg

Congratulations on all the silver, Greg! 😊 You know I love the railroad spikes 😉 But that lead bottle cap was so weird, I love it! 😄 Looking forward to next week.
Thanks so much Andrea and I really love those funky finds like the lead bottle cap. LOL Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
Nice finds Greg and the silver dimes were sweet. Crazy on the lead bottle cap impression. We enjoyed watching as always. See you next week my friend. Ward & Kim K.

The Manticore sure was sniffing out the silver for you! You had an awesome hunt. Four silvers, a great seal button and an old shotgun headstamp would've made my month! Great video Greg. 💖💯

Greg, it is amazing how many relics you are finding with the Manitcore after the area being searched over and over the years. The silvers were awesome and waiting to be found. I thought the lead bottle cap was funny. Loved the service button and the railroad spikes. The old photos add so much to the story of how things were and used back in the day. We officially are celebrating a nice spring weather weekend and will be out metal detecting. 👍👏😀
The Manticore continues to amaze and impress me. I am so glad to have it out there on my old spots. So glad you guys enjoyed watching all the finds I was able to recover. I was pretty blown away by the silver dimes. I have never found four silver at that spot before! So glad to hear you will be having some good weather and I hope you liked your shirts! Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
Greg, we will be wearing our Finding America shirts on a dig this weekend. Also, I found an old hub cap metal detecting from a video last Friday, wondering if you may know what type of vehicle it is from. Take care.

Some of the buildings have been demolished, but the main one was recently rehabbed into condos and shopping, including a small craft Brewery. Good morning, Greg. Four nickels, four dimes, maybe four gold rings next?!😄 The railroad spikes remind me of some fun train trips I've enjoyed over the years, although the second pic might be changing some folks' minds!😂 Have a great day, see you again soon!
I like the way you think, Judy! LOL I can always use four gold rings! That was quite the train wreck photo and I'd love to know just how it ended up like that. :) Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg

Thanks Sean and I do call out my VDI pretty much each time while I'm out there. Honestly, I truly dig it all out there and I chase every single good conductive signal and even the good iron signals I come across. There really is no secret pattern or technique to my detecting when I am out in the field. I haven't even taken the Manticore out of the All Terrain General program yet. I just go low and slow, separate the signals and dig it all. Keep putting the hours on the machine and don't give up on it. It's a very impressive and highly capable machine. Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
My soul, maybe they should have named the manticore "the silver bloodhound" instead. That's incredible! I keep looking around my house to see what I can sell so I can purchase a manticore. Really great video Greg.
I was completely shocked myself with this one. I have been finding a good amount of silver since getting this one and I feel very fortunate to be able to swing the Manticore out there. Thanks so much for watching this one, Orion and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
It definitely doesn't, Eric. I was noticing that as well as we usually get Philly coins in this area. Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg

Gotta love a day full of coins and relics!! I was able to get out and dig a bit before we got another spring blizzard. I was rewarded for a day of trash targets with my 1st Barber dime a beautiful 1909( no mint).
Thanks Ezra and that is awesome! Huge congrats on your first Barber dime and that's a great date as well. Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg

It definitely is. I know you were thinking about getting one so I thought I would let you know that there is an awesome sale on it that came out this morning. $500.00 off right now. Check the Community page here on the channel for more info.
Great hunt and you solved a mystery of mine. The valve stem. I have found two of those so far and had no idea what they were. Both had no flange at the bottom. I am going to clean them up more now. Thank you!
Thanks Jana and I was dumbfounded when I started finding dime after dime at that location. Totally blew me away! Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
Congratulations on your silver dimes, Greg! Have you found that experience helps too when returning to hard hit areas? I seem to find great finds at sites I previously hit too. Of course, machines are likely different, but I think we get better at detecting techniques too. Either way, let's return to sites to hunt em again!
I completely understand your point and agree with you on that, Rich. I am forever returning to old spots because I am convinced that I am constantly getting better at metal detecting than I was the last time I was there. No matter how long one has detected, you are always learning new things and constantly honing your skills, technique and discipline out there. That is definitely a factor involved in consistently making new recoveries at old spots each time we visit them. I will say, I fully believe the new tech associated with this machine also played a very big part in what was found on this day at my test park. I enjoy the challenge of beating these old spots immensely and I can honestly say that this machine (as well as the 900 which I also love using) has increased the fun factor as well as the results out there. Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
I like those bale seals. I found something last year that MIGHT be one but it's tough to tell if it's one or just a blob of lead. Lol. There's no letters, but a possible design. It's sooo tough to tell. And you had such luck with silvers. Very nice! And that one train picture.....did they collide? Lol
I really like the old bale seals as well, Michael. One way to know if it is a bale seal or not is to look closely at the sides of the piece for a bit of metal wire poking out. They would run thin metal wire through the sides of the seal and then crimp the seals down om the wires. When they opened the crate or package they would snip the wires at the seal and a bit would often be left poking out from the seal. Even if no wires are showing you can also look for a rust stain on the edges as well where the wire remnant rusted away. I don't know what happened with that train but it looked like it hit an invisible wall! LOL Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
You find railway Spike's like I find harmonica reed plates, there everywhere you dig, which begs the question, How far away are the railway lines? Just curiosity Greg! Cheers Mate!
I do find a lot of them out there and I also find a lot of reed plates too! lol In this episode, I was just 20 yards away from the tracks. There are many times when I find them with no tracks anywhere near them. I think people used to snag and repurpose them a lot back in the day. Thanks so much for watching this one Wayne and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
Thanks Doug. When I mentioned facing right, I was looking at it from the eagle's perspective. lol I've been a car parts guy too long and it was 3AM when I was answering comments. I meant to say facing left towards the olive branches. ATB Greg
You never know. I always enjoy finding these quirky things while out detecting and I appreciate your help with it. Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
It definitely could have been their intention. I loved finding it out there. Thanks so much for watching this one, Vernon and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
Great Recoveries, Yep drinking beer making sinkers. There's just a little left, pass me that cap Greg 👍
Haha Hold my beer and watch this! Thanks so much for watching this one and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg
The lead bottle cap looks like a home made fishing weight.
That definitely could have been what they were making. I think it's a great little find. Thanks so much for watching this one, Gordon and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg

I guess I'm gonna have to save my pennies for a manticore. Goes to show the difference a machine can make! Thanks for sharing Greg!

Thanks so much for watching this one Wayne and glad you enjoyed it! ATB Greg

Some nice finds Greg. 1902 design Eagle button facing left? I’m confused.
Thanks Doug. When I mentioned facing right, I was looking at it from the eagle's perspective. lol I've been a car parts guy too long and it was 3AM when I was answering comments. I meant to say facing left towards the olive branches. ATB Greg
@@FindingAmerica Thanks Greg. I was confused. Do you have any radiator bearings for a 89’ YUGO? 🤪
