I’m sorry but you’ve severely understated the challenge to assemble this cargo box. It took me hours by myself (with occasional help from another). Absolutely ridiculous. AND getting it on my SUV was another adventure. I will happily spend an extra $500 to upgrade to a box that comes assembled, and I can get on and off my car with little effort.
Thanks for this, would you recommend this over the JEGGS 18 cubic feet roof box. I am debating between this style OR a metal roof basket with a water resistant back for the carrier.
Great series of videos. Just had my Sportrack box delivered today. I decided to go with the ski type box, mainly for the contoured look, and it was completely assembled already. Going to throw it on the Suburban this weekend and see how it works Thanks
