i ended up drilling a hole, tapping a thread and screwing a cut down stand off into it because the stupid over priced bracket I ordered didn't arrive 😂 It's been about a year though with no issues

I second this too I upgraded the ram of my g15 today and the service manual said to unplug the battery but it was damn near impossible it looked like I was gonna tear it so I just upgraded the ram without unplugging the battery and in this video it looked so effortlessly so maybe there's something wrong with our battery connectors
Yeah mine to its just tooo tight. I tried pushing the plastic head from a non metalic tweezer but no success it was feeling so tight so I just used a brush and cleaned the fans from the visible sides

from what I have researched and been told all gaming laptops are soldered in. No plug and play like an actual computer tower and the risks of ruining the board are high if you were to do so. There are some laptops out there that allow changing of processor and graphics card but I am sure the boards get outdated fast since everything seems to be moving forward little by little with improved parts

I want them to bring back screw-in screen bezels sO BADLY, The reason my Acer AN515-55 Nitro broke was because of the CLIP-ON BEZEL, I dropped it like 2 or 3 times, once on the carpet, and the rest in the laptop bag iirc. It had 2 cracks in it, I glued it because 2 of the clips BROKE when I dropped it the first time, and just today the anchors holding the hinges to the back of the screen BROKE, causing the screen to FALL APART, and that was during me trying to REPLACE THE BEZEL. Depending what one you have pretty sure its 1x 8gb. Ive always been told its not ideal to use two different sizes, so you would probably want to go another 8 for 16 or two 16gbs

There isn't one ssd that will work best, but you'll need a m.2 pcie x4 (2280) ssd. You could use a Samsung 980
SSD for example.

Anyone else have a problem where the 2 front screws (the 2 still vertical ones) are just not letting go? I cant pry the front part at all. Its stuck. The screws arent wobbly like the other 2 but are snapping to indicate they are "unscrewed"
For me it's the two screws on the sides in the middle

Use a different camera angle and closer up so people can actually see how your disconnecting things. Having your hands over what your disconnecting isn't helpful
