- Hello everyone, I'm Cassandre, I've previously presented Japanese egg salad sandwiches ( • [食不相瞞#22]日式蛋沙拉三明治食譜與做法... ) and this time I'd like to give you a recipe for the classic tuna salad sandwich from Deli Style in New York City.
Tuna and egg salad sandwiches are popular dishes that many people grew up with. What they have in common is that they are easy to make, simple to prepare and delicious. They are also popular because they are affordable and full of nutritional value.
New York is said to be the city that sells the most tuna salad sandwiches in the United States. The sandwich's unique combination of salty, creamy flavours and crunchy celery and onion makes it an ideal snack for young and old, not just as a meal.
As well as eating the tuna salad on toast or bread, this recipe shows how to make a 'melt sandwich' by frying or baking the assembled sandwiches in the oven so that the cheese melts just right.
Especially on hot summer days when you're not hungry and too lazy to cook, or during the summer holidays when the kids are at home playing and suddenly get hungry, you can easily make a delicious tuna salad sandwich in just a few minutes. As well as tasting great, it's nutritious and affordable.

How to make New York Deli Tuna Salad Sandwich?
Here's how to make the New York Deli Tuna Salad Sandwich and the recipe:
✎ Ingredients
Tuna 92g (about 2 cans of 70g tuna, drained)
chopped onion 14g
Celery 14g
Pepper 1g
Anchovy 1
Mayonnaise 90g
Sugar 5g
Pepper - to taste
Mustard 6g
✎ Instructions
1. Chop the onion, parsley and anchovies into small cubes.
2. Drain the liquid from the tuna cans, remove the tuna from the cans and place in a large bowl. Use a fork to crush the tuna into small pieces.
3. add the diced onion, celery, and anchovies, and stir gently to combine.
4. Add mayonnaise, red pepper flakes, mustard and sugar.
5. Season with pepper as desired.
6. Serve as is, or refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
7. Serve tuna salad on hamburgers or bread slices, or add to salads as a main dish or healthy lunch option.

謝謝老師。想請教一個應該是不太理想的問題,美乃滋在這點心裡扮演很重要的融合性角色,有沒有其他更健康的東西能替換掉它而不會嚴重改變口感?
曾經想像過優格類,但又覺得優格的味道不夠柔和,口感不夠輕盈。
我不是討厭美乃滋拌入鮪魚沙拉喔,反而就是覺得太好吃,如果還加上酸黃瓜丁,那我更是無法節制。
如果是有在飲控,那麼可以使用低卡的美乃茲哦~美乃茲的味道很難取代,我第一個想到的也是優格,但味道完全是兩回事,剛想了好久,還沒想到可取代,味道接近的.... 😊
