Lian Shi is the only female character in this game that I can identify with. She is incredibly loyal, motivating and uplifting - and like me, she has a big chest lol.
If I remember correctly in dw7 and I think 8 as well if you hurt Wang Yuanji Sima Zhao will chase after you as well. Somewhere in the lines of "what have you done to my yuanji YOU WILL REGRET EVER CROSSING ME" or something like that.
Sima Yi is not only a good husband but a good father as well. This can be seen in WO3 where he rejected drunk Wang Yi's advancement eventhough she does'nt mean it that way. Either that or he really does'nt want to piss off Zhang Chunhua Zhang Chunhua is a lucky women

Eventhough the main story focuses more on the Mystics/newcomers, most Dynasty and Samurai characters gets a spotlight in atleast 1 battle. Not to mention the extra voicelines and dialogues gives even the characters ypu don't care some bit of personality

Great video and picks fair play, my favourite is probably Liu Bei & Sun Shangxiang, it's unique in the way it's a cross faction marriage which started with malevolent intent, but blossomed into some genuine love and loyalty. Sun Shangxiang safes Liu Bei when the Shu/Wu alliance collapses and I believe she even chooses him over her family who she also loves very much.🎮⚔️💚🍀
Lu Bu is probably one of the most developed character in the series, he went to beat the shit outta Diao chan for trying to ran away in DW3 to actually let Diao chan go and telling her to life as herself instead of poison
I feel like you already did something like this. Damn, Wu rounding out the bottom 3. You are missing 2 Shu relationships: Liu Shan and Xingcai, and Zhang Fei and Xiahouji.
I left both them out on purpose, Zhang Fei's and Xiahoujis is just weird to me, and liu shan and xingcai never seem to have any romantic scenes at all, they seem more like bodyguard ruler relationship like the other bodyguards in the game

People say what they want about Dw as a game but i swear when its comes to Character designs and more specifically the female characters they knock it outa the park 90 % of the time though it is kinda weird Yue Ying i thought it said in her bio she wasn't attractive but the games dont care😂
Zhou Yu and Xiaoqiao . . . I mean . . . I feel like they (the writers) probably feel like they have to have him more tolerant than affectionate towards her because of optics? Like if he does anything more loving than pat her on the head Chris Hanson will ask him to take a seat . . . while not the case in every game, sometimes she does come off almost like a preteen. Honestly, it might look a little worse if he wasn't kind of distant towards her. Still, for a woman he goes to war with Cao Cao for you'd think there'd be more interest from him, I can grant that. Funnily enough I actually feel like that dynamic would have worked better for Liu Bei and Sun Shang Xiang since, in the novel at least, he wasn't all that interested in her at first because of their age difference, but she took a liking to him. Personally though, your number 2 is my number 1, but you make a good argument lol

SSX and Liu Bei would be more interesting if they followed the common convention of it being a very hostile political marriage. After all many dramas have SSX trying to abduct Liu Chan with Zhao Yun preventing the abduction. IIRC historic documents even have SSX's personal bodyguard army basically threatening Liu Bei. Its also for this reason I can't tolerate the SSX + Liu Bei lovey dovey angle that Koei keeps presenting.
*Noticing Zhou Yu head patting his WIFE Xiao Qiao I suspect the real reason for this behavior is that Zhou Yu knows the FBI are watching. Being Zhou Yu is truly suffering considering Koei refuses to mature his wife.
