These LeBron media panelists are a joke. They address the money, and a chance of three peat is the reason for his rejection, but you know Hurley thought about all the coaches that got fired under LeBron, and he never takes accountability either the coach or his teammates gets the blame 70 million is a good offer mean only three coaches in the NBA makes more just because he's successful college coach doesn't mean it will translate to the NBA so to pay first year unproven coach a 100 million would have been absurd to me.

The Lakers are like the Cowboys. The coach can’t coach but gets a lot of the blame as if the organization didn’t tie one hand behind their back. Also when the coach does try to lead the team, the stars on the team can run to the front office and cry to Jeannie and get their way like the Cowboys can do with Jerry.

If he gets fired, he will continue getting paid, and he will get hired as an assistant coach for another team, just like Darvin Ham

For a person to actually leave a good job and come to the Lakers, they need to be offered $100 million.
It would be different if this was a person waiting around trying to get their first chance at coaching, but Hurley is established at a storied College institution. By the time you factor in all of the excess drama that comes with coaching the Lakers and the extraordinarily high taxes in California, any offer less than $100 million is not serious.
