    Currently the Lakers job is a joke. 8 coaches in 15 years. From the top Jeanie Buss to Klutch LeBron trying to control the organization. $70M was never a real offer, wouldn’t have been the highest paid coach in LA. Rob was just upset bc he doesn’t watch college basketball. Knicks job will open up in a couple years next to home in a better situation. In the meantime keep winning championships!

    As a casual fan, I’d remember much more Coach Hurley guiding UConn to a 3rd straight NCAA title ( or even just a 3rd one period) than starting all over again in the NBA - yes, even with the Lakers - in his prime.

    No surprise Hurley turned Lakers down. Ironically for some of the reasons Rob mentioned: college to pros usually doesnt work out. So many reasons, it was more likely not to happen for Hurley.
