I've seen him live 22 times (so far). He is 6'7, moonwalks, robot dances, does nunchucks, and hands out toys to folks in the audience. He's recorded almost 400 albums - so far. He did some great music with Primus and Les Claypool's Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains.

John 5 is better at all of the styles Buckethead is proficient at and doesn't feel the need to make an album every time he's practicing, Miyavi invented an entirely new style of playing the guitar on top of what he's playing being extremely complex and last but very much not least, as fast as Buckethead is, there will never be anybody as fast as Jason Becker. Buckethead is one of the most overrated in history.

That button is signal kill switch he is actually playing the notes by tapping with his left hand and using that kill switch to control how long those notes ring.

The majority of this song is done with hammer-ons and his killswitch button (of which there are 2, they are red). To obtain the main groove, slam your fingers on the fretted string and kill the sound with the button. The button is a momentary killswitch which kills the sound for as long as you depress it. So he gets the robot sound by pressing it over and over, faster and faster.

My best friend and I saw Buckethead on April 19th, 2019 at Sony Hall in Manhattan. My friend is Black, and I kinda, maybe, forced him to go. Anyway, we get there and during the show I kept asking my buddy "Do you want to go?", but he stuck it out. This Black girl kept walking in between us to get to her seat, and at one point, I told my buddy that I think she's trying to pick me up. Long story, short, I didn't get any!! The show was awesome. He stand's 6' 6" tall, without the bucket, and he always wears a one piece jump suit, like a mechanic, or "Jason". Sucks not being able to visit my friend! Great reaction! Just subscribed too and I'm happy about that!!!

Not sure where you got this from. There's almost no footage of him playing without a mask. Except for when he was a teenager playing for class x. It's terrible quality and you pretty much can't see much of his face
He initially got the mask and early stages of his character making homemade horror movies with his friends. After eating chicken one night he put on his michael myers mask popped the bucket on his head looked in the mirror and said yup thats Buckethead. One day he played with the mask and it just stuck because of how much it helped him with his social anxiety and stage fright. Not much longer after he just did the whole character bucket n all.

Jordan is Buckethead's "show-off song" for what he can do with a kill switch button and a pitch shift pedal. But usually, he does not show off, all the technical mastery and shredding serves a purpose in shaping the music to represent emotion. As a next step I recommend "Eerie Canal". Please do listen to the studio version of this, and also of Soothsayer, because there's no less rawness, but much more clarity than in the live performances.
In the end, I could give you a 20-hour "best of Buckethead" playlist, but that's just what I like the most from his discography. Everyone finds something different in those >300 solo albums.

he must have installed a normally-open pushbutton next to his pickup switch, or in place of it, to get the killswitch effect.
his right hand doesn't seem to be moving the way it would if he were flicking a toggle.

Yeah, he has two different kill switches installed on his guitars.

Watch; BUCKETHEAD [proshot] 2006-06-04 ITALIAN AMERICAN SOCIAL CLUB LasVegas NV Disc 1 part 3 (14:04)
(A must see buckethead performance) This set that he played starts with "Jordan but mixes and other songs and plays night of the slunk, then some stuff that's a bit too fast and sounds like Ingvay Malmstein, but then it shifts to the "most" funky and "coolest" guitar solo "Ever" ! Parts of it sound like Peter Framptom's voice synthesized guitar other parts a sound like a DJs turntable! It's more unbelievable genius from Buckethead that if you haven't seen it, then you are just missing out on the Ultimate Funkiest Funkiness of Buckethead Ever !

In 2006 Buckethead was doing lots of performances in nightclubs on the LasVegas Strip. His set performances are always original and his guitar transitions from one song to the next are too. That's part of what makes him a music wonder ! That the kill-switch on his guitar. That's really "his" thing. I think that he uses the kill switch in all of his songs. (Maybe not)
Buckethead is 6'7" and wears his Mask and Bucket whenever he is performing for an audience, which for Buckethead means "always in public". Wherever he goes to perform, he also walks their public sidewalks "in full costume" doing the Robot in spontaneous fashion. (Even in Paris) he might board a bus and go shopping at the village market. His public dancing and robot performance are very funny and entertaining. Buckethead..."Master of the Robot dance " !

Anyway those fingers move like spiders he can stretch is 7 fret scale and blister should like the 70s Alex lifeson
