Wow, I really like the production quality of this video, you seem very invested in educating us as well throughout the video, this is content I can watch! Thank you Ronald!
I appreciate the description of how oil absorption and lane shine can affect a ball, and this seems like a really good demonstration. Thanks again for another very informative video and ball review.
Love this energy! This is truly the best form of education as it entertains while informing. The ball looks amazing. I probably should try to join the CTD staff since I've bought hundreds of $ of your products and use them daily.
This is one of the best ball reviews I’ve seen. Really enjoyed comparing it to Envy Tour so you can see the step down and how it fits in the arsenal. It was good seeing how honest you were about the ball in the beginning.
Mr. Hickland Jr you give us bowling junkies our monies worth every video. Straight up talk is all we ask good or bad and you deliver. Thank you for that. Plus being a lefty is refreshing as well. Next!!!
This video is EXTREMELY educational. Envy Tour Solid is my favorite ball and I’m in shock this one is stronger. Wow! I want this and will take your advice by using them together.
They all say its a new release and its the ball of the year after one shot. Smh .. good review sir a ball needs to be rolled on different patterns to be able to judge it
As a "refty" I love this video and the information regarding this ball since I just got it. Helps me with deciding a layout as well. Throwing logs are usual Mr. Hickland 😀
I rolled my Mesmerize and had the same thing, rolled very s.ooth. I put it at 3k, and it is a beast. I compared it to my Vaporize at box with lane shine and Vaporizehad 5 more boards at the back.
Something about the Pure Envy reminds me of my Hammer Redemption Pearl. This is gonna sound absurd, but the Pure Envy feels to me like if the Remdeption Pearl and the BW3.0 had a baby. Really looking forward to when you review the C300 Super Cuda. Thats a piece i think may make its way to my arsenal
Another informative video with good objective info. Only criticism... the cuts/splices of this video are pretty harsh and abrupt. I haven't noticed that in your other vids.
I watched Robert Smith's review of this ball prior to this vid. He had one pin up (75 × 5 x 20) and one pin down (? × 5 × 60)... The pin down had way more attitude, more backend action. Definitely alot to consider when taken with all the cover talk and oil absorption
I do appreciate that you are real about the balls, you give a lot of really useful information.... but we have been seeing some really good balls lately havent we?
Wow I came across this video and 11 days late. But now I have you on subscribe and can catch up. I saw your products and need to buy some but don’t know which ones. Say I like to clean my balls after every league nite (3) leagues a week. So what do I use Mr.Ronald, also your a lefty, so am I , so hopefully you’ll tell me what I need to clean the bowling balls with, since I’m 11 days late. Thank you, oh I did buy 2 sets of your pads 500-5k
This just might replace my RST-X1! Could you have both pure envy and Ion max in the bag for tournaments? Also could you pair it with the Ion pro. Thanks
I'm a speed dominant player looking for a strong ball that goes early and continues through. Would you recommend this or the mesmerize or something else? Thank you!
I've got the Roto Grip Magic Gem it's a big early rolling ball asymmetrical and it comes out of box 2000 and it was just too early and losing energy and continuation on the back end sometimes rolling out so I had my pro shop operator put a little storm polish over the cover and now it's golden it's still rolls early but retains energy on the back end
I agree that you get a better quality review after throwing several shots but due to the youtube algorithm if you don't publish your video RIGHT at the end of the embargo you won't get the views. I have no idea what time the youtubers get their balls but hopefully the manufacturers give them PLENTY of time to throw the ball so they can give a more informed opinion.
I currently have an Envy Tour, with two symmetrical balls and a Purple Urethane. I am speed dominant, and was thinking of adding two more asymmetrical balls. What about adding this Pure Envy and a Envy Tour Pearl?
Interesting that you put the PURE and TOUR as a 1-2 when they have different cores. Always thought that was rather odd that the same line “Envy” has different cores pending the model…
Not trying to be difficult, but the jump stopping in the video is annoying. Definitely takes away from the meaning of the video. May be a new editing style, but doesn't work here, just FYI.
Cool video talk tech bowling ball hammer pure envy bowling ball with dot technology drill anywhere technology and hk22 technology in the bowling ball more strikes and spares hitting power at times Ron hickland
The glitchy nature of this video is way different than your normal videos from the past. My opinion is the old style is better. The new one made me stop watching before the end as it was annoying. Your content is the best but this one frustrated me.

Appreciate the feedback

Thanks for watching
Oil absorption also affects the longevity of the ball / dies right?
Great to see you pull out the Envy Tour and do that direct comparison actually on the lanes rather than just describe the comparison verbally
Great video! Nice to have a super clean example of needing a little "break in" time for some gear.
Love this energy! This is truly the best form of education as it entertains while informing. The ball looks amazing. I probably should try to join the CTD staff since I've bought hundreds of $ of your products and use them daily.
We appreciate the feedback. Whenever you are ready come on over and join.

This is the type of information I look for in watching everyone's ball reviews. I think you have a solid educational format with this one. Thank you.
Fantastic and sincere! See you so exited really make me feel that we need to have this in the bag!
your intelligence on the game & equipment is incredible. love your vids & listening to you.
Mr. Hickland Jr you give us bowling junkies our monies worth every video. Straight up talk is all we ask good or bad and you deliver. Thank you for that. Plus being a lefty is refreshing as well. Next!!!
Thanks for the support
Awesome review of this ball. Eye-opening how letting the ball lane shine brought it to life. Great stuff!
This video is EXTREMELY educational. Envy Tour Solid is my favorite ball and I’m in shock this one is stronger. Wow! I want this and will take your advice by using them together.

Another phenomenal video Ron! Really enjoying the in depth analysis of each piece. This one really had you going! 😂
Appreciate the support, yeah this one was different for sure
Really liked the engery in this vid and realness with he explanation
I rolled my Mesmerize and had the same thing, rolled very s.ooth. I put it at 3k, and it is a beast. I compared it to my Vaporize at box with lane shine and Vaporizehad 5 more boards at the back.
Good to know. I have it and realize that it's doing the same as the pure envy, too. I will be adding 3000 to it tonight. Thanks!!!!
Ron how would this stack up to the BW3.0 it also has hk22 both big cores would love tj see a comparison
Liking this format...great review.
I ordered mine, I love the Effect, and this suppose to compliment that one. We shall see Hammer Heads...
Once it lane shines, it is basically a little stronger Vaporize? Another great video!
similar thing happened to me with the X-Cell. needed some games to get its groove
Great review, only dislike is the edits throughout the video. Seems very glitchy

It looks and seems to react like the ultimate defender. Would love to see a comparison
The Original Envy Solid also got better as it shinned up.
I came here to say the same thing.
Awesome review.
Glad you enjoyed it
Here I was going backwards, new ball hit it with a 2 k (CTD) but on this ball go up to 4k got it.
I have the envy and will pick up the new one. ❤
So out of curiosity where does this ball relate or compare to the new Mesmerize from Brunswick? Both about the same?
I agree that you get a better quality review after throwing several shots but due to the youtube algorithm if you don't publish your video RIGHT at the end of the embargo you won't get the views. Can straight bowler uses this ball? What's the effect?
TX16 type cover
So what would be the comparison with say the Black Widow 3.0?
I currently have an Envy Tour, with two symmetrical balls and a Purple Urethane. I am speed dominant, and was thinking of adding two more asymmetrical balls. What about adding this Pure Envy and a Envy Tour Pearl?
Those aren't bad options
If you are complaining about the cuts, they probably are editing out the pauses and the umm and aww's. Alot of people do that.
Interesting that you put the PURE and TOUR as a 1-2 when they have different cores. Always thought that was rather odd that the same line “Envy” has different cores pending the model…
Um, what happened to throwing the mesmorize?
That is why you are the "go to " guy .
We appreciate the support
same core as original envy, not the extreme
This bowling ball, named “Pure Envy” ……is better known as “the Angel Reese” bowling ball.
This video is wild.
Phaze 2 type cover
I like the video.
Look like the sauce
Last couple videos have been very buggy with all the editing making the videos choppy.
Static shot when ball is thrown please. Hard to see ball motion with the edits...
👍🏽👍🏽

To bad it such a gay color! I like Hammer balls because they are mostly good looking and not so flamboyantly gaudy!
There’s no such thing as a “gay” color lol
