As always, another great review from Nick. Real-talk, not a lot of people have that much hand with that tool kit. In no world would someone as skilled as you use this on a house shot 😂 Ball is a pure beast. As some would sat "that's a lot of ball" Might be the Effect is just cleaner through the front, retains more energy. So you can at least open the shot. And get it down there. This ball starts reading off your hand, doesn't quite roll out and covers more boards then one would expect from a high end solid on a high ratio buffed pattern.
That purple/pink color combination on a piece usually indicates that the pins WILL in fact get the fire slapped out of them 🔨💨 Hammer is going crazy this year!
@@brunsnick I tend to like a bigger matte ball to be control, where I'd probably pin down it and have it for a wet shot. Perhaps if I got something like this, I'd have it set up to really flip...I don't know...I was considering a Mesmerize if I tried that
Not really, no. Other than somewhat similar colors, the Pure Envy has more backend motion. You can always refer to the SPECTO data in each video for comparisons. The Pure Envy had more impact angles meaning it kept hooking after the breakpoint. The Ultimate Defender was more control and more forward rolling for me.
As a down-and-in bowler, this one has me a little nervous. I love big doughy solid chalky bowling balls. I really enjoy rolling my Archetype. I took the advice of my PSO on this one, so I'm hoping that it will be fun. It's glossier than I was thinking for my big asym. It's getting paired with a Jackal Ghost, Archetype Hybrid, Dark Web Hybrid, Trouble Maker Pearl, and Hammer Effect. My stats: Left-handed, PAP 4 5/8 left 1 over, rev rate 175-200 rpm, tilt and axis rotation of 15 degrees, suitcase release (newly started due to past injuries from bad drillings by another PSO), 12-16 mph clocked at the pins, and typically play from 1st to 3rd dot up 1st to 3rd arrow.
I currently have an Envy Tour, with two symmetrical balls and a Purple Urethane. I am speed dominant, and was thinking of adding two more asymmetrical balls. What about adding this Pure Envy and a Envy Tour Pearl?
Nick, anyone can split the 8-9. Show me a roll from 21 to the 1 board and then split it, and we'll be impressed. Oh wait, that's what you did. LOL. Awesome review as always!
Hey Brunsnick, correct me if I am wrong, but should non-staffers be throwing this ball already in league please, even though they dont have a contract with B7 brands??? I noticed someone throwing it in their live stream, 2 balls that are not released yet. I am just confused, i know the staffers will have it already and doing what they do. Keep up with the videos, enjoy all of them.
With your sarge Easter grip, is your ring finger have a lose feel with the span or do you like it stretched. Also with your ring finger hole do you have it tight or a lot of room?
@@brunsnick thanks Nick. Just picked up Vaporize to go with Mesmerize. OMG I love these balls. The Vaporize may be my favorite. May get another drilled pin down, loving it

The question of the day: Is Hammer going to troll its sister brand (Ebonite) and steal "Complete", "Total", "-S" (NVS) and "-D" (NVD) from their line? 😉
I am curious why in all your videos, as you move left, you always keep your breakpoint the same, 4/5 board, rather than move your breakpoint in as you move left. With a big strong ball like this, once you get left, why are you not keeping the ball in the oil the whole way using say 10 as your breakpoint?
@@brunsnick I see. But you understand what I am saying, always asking every ball to go so far out into the dry and come back. I see many of the balls you use labor out there to get back losing lots of energy. This may be why you are the 8 pin King. 🤣

Man, that ball is definitely not afraid of the gutter! Nice bowling as usual Nick. Thanks for the content!
8:00 Another one Nick? This is turning into a comedy skit. 😂
Looking forward to your review of the C300 Super Cuda.
Great video!
Same here
Has strong continuation on it for sure 💯
6:36 am I the only one who puckered up when Brunsnick said "You always want a thumb-tight-hole..."?
Oh man I can't wait to get this ball!
A thumb tight hole?! Nice double take on the cam. Apparently, every tight hole needs a thumb.👍🏼
True! Adopt a thumb today!

Heck yeah!! Already talking to my guy Ron Dixon about getting one of these!!
The shots you smoked reminded me of your Archetype video, where the really good hits were awesome-looking

I would love to come out and get a game or two in with you, love your ball reviews. I'm also in Michigan as well.
So much for straighter is greater with this ball. LOL Love it!
Looks and reacts like the ultimate defender. Did it remind you of that piece as well?

I am not buying another ball for a few years I am still rocking with widow 2.0 and hammer effect
So what would be the difference between this and the mesmerize
I think Mesmerize has just a bit more hook and continuation down lane and thru the pins for me.
I’m 65 and 15# is too heavy. Will a 13# ball still strike? Thanks 🙏 ❤
Please do a comparison between the extreme and pure envy video

Maybe something more dynamic than Envy Tour Pearl for your shiny asym.
The colors are nice too!
That shot at 4:30 is insane 💪🏻
She’s a beauty!🥰
Does it react much differently than the Black Widow 3.0?
I think this hooks more overall but would have to check the SPECTO. The numbers always tell the story.
Comparison video?
I have extreme envy, envy tour, and have the pearl and black widow ghost would this fit my arsenal or the effect asking for opinions
Not really no. You need some symmetrical balls mixed in.
@@brunsnick what would you recommend
@@andyhaala8451 some mid range symmetricals in the .030 to .045 range mix up the cover strengths.

Would you consider this to be a good 1-2-3 punch with the Envy and the Effect?
No not really, that’s 3 very strong asyms. You’d want to go Pure Envy/Envy, Effect, then a symmetrical step down like Scorpion Sting
Awesome, thanks!
Hey Brunsnick how would you compare the pure envy to the mesmerize? I see the numbers are pretty close
@@dynasty441 I think Mesmerize has just a bit more hook at continuation down lane and thru the pins for me.
@@brunsnick ok thank you I appreciate that, keep up the good work
If I got the one encore and the extreme envy and the emerge will this fit anywhere? 16mph 450-470 revs. Thanks love the channel
I think you’re pretty set at high end asyms. Unless you were replacing either of those.
The pure Envy or widow 3.0 as you move left on a house shot? Say 17-20 at arrows.
Either going to be good. If I had to pick, I personally like the Widow more for opening my angles.
Are you lining up with inside or outside of your foot just curious
Neither. Middle.
How does this ball compare to the Roto Grip Magic Gem
Idk sorry

They’re usbc approved, whoever has them can throw them. We send many non staffer balls early. Most of them are independent influencers.
How would this compare to an extreme envy? Would it be worth replacing the extreme if i already have the effect, the envy tour and the extreme?
A little more pop on the back compared to Extreme. It would be a replacement for sure, not a complement.
Reminds me of the Hellcat XLR8

@JamesCaleb-fn7jg no I don’t think so. You’d want either or in the bag.
