    Based on my understanding of what I read about the Power Edge on the Storm Bowling website, it is a compound similar to what Brunswick uses to shine their bowling balls.

    I pre-ordered the Power Edge polish. From what i've seen and read on Storm's site, along on other bowling ball seller sites, Power Edge doesn't have a slip agent in it. So no silicone, wax, etc. I reached out to Storm and asked when will the polish be released. They told me either when the Phaze AI is released or after the release, a little later.
    I have a sample of the Power Edge but haven't used it yet. I've used Reacta Gloss and TruCut 5500 polish, i like both as they make the ball tacky as hell lol. My gf has the Phaze AI and the ball is a beast with a down and in shot or with a little angle.
    Hopefully you enjoy the ball and experiment with the Power Edge polish. Thanks

    I was wondering. Since I have your polish and am not too keen on getting another polish specifically for a ball, would I be able to use your polish when a resurface is in order? I would really like to see a comparison between your polish vs. power edge. Also if I was to resurface this to oob finish using your polish, what would be the final grit before applying the polish?

    As soon as you mention surface I was like I want to see 2K and see if it just turns into a phase two.
    I'm excited to see them side by side, but my prediction is it's going to be pretty close to the phase two at the same surface

    • @fliboimoney
      @fliboimoney หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Agreed will be similar (at 2k)...BUT NOT. Phaze AI will have an enhanced ability, that the Phaze II will never be able to do since it's the AI is Pearl!!

    The phase V was a good ball too and you’d use it differently than the PAI. You use it later in the set and not in the fresh. You need to compare it against the journey imho.

    • @BentheBowler
      @BentheBowler หลายเดือนก่อน

      Both balls you use in the transition phase, journey is an all around stronger piece. Best ball for a comparison would be the new idol pearl and even then that ball is stronger both core and cover.

    I'm curious about phase 2 vs sublime focus. In the market for a good strong symmetrical and symmetrical pearl. Doesnt have to be phase AI but could be. My local pro shop guy at a bowlers mart threw the AI and left a bunch of splits. He was almost thinking of destroying that ball. Haha. But your ball review makes it look really good.

    I really love the idea of comparing the P5 and the PAI, but is comparing R2S to T16 (even in a pearlized version) a fair comparison??? Those are wildly different coverstocks. As we all know, cores certainly make a difference, but nothing near as much as the coverstocks do.
    What this video DID make me wonder about is how the P5 would look with the new Power Edge polish on it. I bet it would much more closely resemble the new PAI, but even then, I'd still expect the PAI to be the stronger ball with better reaction.

    Reacta Gloss was junk and I avoided it like the plague. I drilled a 2022 Phaze 3 and threw it on the spinner for a surface reset BACK to 1500 polish and it may have ran into a 180 grit pad to get it all off before it even went down the lane. No issues after that.

    • @rb8999
      @rb8999 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Exactly, TX16 is a nano based formula where R2S Pearl doesn't have any.
      I drilled a Journey which is same TX16 Pearl cover, mine was always trying to grab upfront and puked down lane. I think mine may have been a bad pour/batch because it looked best on a short pattern with surface.
      This looks like they may have tweaked the formula some more, looks more responsive in every video than all of the Journey videos.
