Use decky loader plug in. You can change the contrast to make colors pop more, add badges that gives community guide/rating on a game usability on steam deck, change any games covers, see completion times, add custom boot up screens, etc it takes like 10 minutes max all u need is a keyboard and mouse
You don't even need a external keyboard nor mouse
I'd also add that you can add ambience music and alternate sounds. For example, you can have ambience from older consoles like the GameCube or PS2, which can actually enhance the experience on dashboards as they can help relax. It's one of the few things consoles have over PCs. Until the Steam Deck, that is.

there is now a plugin to add custom boot screens and suspend videos. way easier than manually doing it and you can preview them before downloading and using them. great video!!

God I am watching this video because I am getting a steam deck, and one of the reasons I got a steam deck is to play sly Cooper, and Dimitri's club song is one of my favorite tracks from the series. Great video!

The Steam Deck svg I saw online was already sized correctly so there was no need to adjust the measurements. I'm not sure where you got yours but maybe it's already good to go

If you want skins for all of your buttons, I recommend Slickwraps. I ordered from them, carbon fiber texture. They have really good customer service if something goes wrong. One of the abxy circles was missing and they dropped a replacement in the mail promptly. Product was good quality and the customer service was superb.
In my opinion, anyone can send you a product, whether it's intact notwithstanding. It's how they handle when things go wrong that really makes the difference.
Also side note, Slickwraps came through on the replacement piece before dbrand even processed (then delayed) my order from them. Obsidian skin and stick grips.
I’m thinking about going with slickwraps for my skin. Blue carbon. Is the quality pretty much the same to your knowledge?

I no longer use any cases, I had the killswitch, jsaux case, and two others from Amazon I tried. I liked having them but I realized how much heat they hold in and how more comfortable the deck is without them
One of the reasons why I haven't bought a case yet is because I haven't felt the need to. The Steam Deck by itself is quite comfortable to hold, though it's still nice to have the option for a case.
Have you try the deck mate? With jsaux vinyl Grips?

I don't know if that will work with the suspend videos but I have heard there's a boot video randomizer though.

Not actually a Sonic game, just heavily inspired by Sonic. That's Spark the Electric Jester 3. Has kind of a weird story but definitely worth a play if you enjoy Sonic games. Namely the Adventure games as that's where most of the inspiration comes from.

Yeah, the thickness of a vinyl skin is pretty negligible and the deck will still fit in the official dock with a skin on.

Can I just put a sticker on my steam deck without any problems
Just don't block the ventilation. If you decide to remove the sticker later it might leave some residue from the glue but it can be cleaned up fairly easily.
@@the_new_challenger so I can just put my Sonic sticker on my steam deck without putting on any important parts like for example next to the valve symbol and I'll be fine
@@lordx8844 A simple sticker shouldn't do any damage. Go nuts, put a few on if you want.
