I have tried countless products high and low end, this product is a god send. My cracked hands from antibacteral hand wash have gone, My fine lines have gone and my skin has plumped out and It feels light. I just love it.

This has been a lifesaver this pandemic. My hands had some kind of chemical reaction due to frequent use of rubbing alcohol. It was extremely irritated that it turned red on the first days and it stung so bad. After a week, it turned dark like a burn and was severely dry. It looked like a zombie's hand. I was trying to accept the fact that I could've caused permanent damage to my hands. Thankfully, I thought of using this for my hands because I really bought this for my face. After a month of use, my hand was fully healed. I was supposed to have it checked because it was alarming. It's a good thing I tried using this first. It might have cost me a lot to have it checked.

It’s better not to overly irritate the hands in the first place so for instance if you just came from the washroom and freshly washed your hands and some weird policy of the store you go into tells you to apply sanitizer and they don’t care . Just use your own fake bottle with water . Because sanitizing right after washing is NOT healthy and also won’t help you fight off germs because it kills the good germs . Also never sanitize after hand washing . Hand washing is ideal and don’t over do the sanitizer to make others happy do what’s best for you!

You experienced eczema on your hands. I struggle with this too because I work in a coffee shop that also serves breakfast foods and sweets, cakes and stuff, I work at the food counter and I’m frequently washing my hands and I get these rashes you’re describing. It’s uncomfortable and annoying! The only thing that helps is the CeraVe hand cream❤. I also orde some nitrile gloves for work because the latex ones give me allergy as well 😕

I like to put a little in my hand and then dilute it with some water (and serum or sunscreen if I'm in a hurry and just wanna slap it all on at once) to use it as a general moisturizer. It helps with the thickness and makes it last longer.

2 years ago I saw one expensive cream, i figured out why it’s expensive, the reason is it has Coq10 which is powerful antioxidant, so when I found there are CeraVe cream and qunol liquid Coq10 in Costco, I mixed them together, the cream turned into a little bit yellow, then I used this cream every day over 2 years, surprisingly the aging spot on my face gets less and lighter , I am so happy with those mixups

Try using it on damp/wet skin. It feels better. The cream alone on my face feels super dry and tight with a waxy film on top. But it does help keep my eczema under control so i might try the lotion next. The lotion seems more watery and easy to apply. Btw the cream also sometimes break me out in small little white heads.
Tip: Using a moisturiser that has oil in it makes my dry and sensitive skin feel much better. Hope this helped someone.

I have dry and sensitive skin and I've always had the issue that lotions and creams seemed to not get absorbed by my skin. I hated having an oily substance on my face, and if I put any on my hands they became too slippery I couldn't do stuff. It got to where my hands were dry and flaky and stinging, and me with 10 hand creams in the house. Cerave doesn't have oils and my skin absorbed it immediately. I just bought the lotion and tried it on one hand in the store. 5 minutes later, and I couldn't believe the difference between the hand with the lotion and the other hand. And it doesn't leave my skin slippery, either.

BEWARE, CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is a fantastic product. BUT, the jar has no inner seal.
I've been using it for years.
Every time I am going to purchase anything that can be opened, I twist open the container and check that the inner seal has not been tampered with.
Every time I purchase CeraVe Moisturizing Cream, I open the jar and there is NO INNER SEAL.
I stand there with the CeraVe in my hand and look around.
I wonder if the CeraVe I'm holding has been tampered with.
    It's definitely RISKY.
However, I always end up putting it in my shopping cart.
Really wish I didn't have to go through this every time I purchase my CeraVe Moisturizing Cream.

I have exzema too and sounds like your skin at the moment is just really dry and needs a little tlc lol but that always happens with a flare up. Stay hydrated and keep wearing the cream and your exzema/skin will gradually improve. Since your skin is currently really dry, just keep reapplying it. Eventually your skin won't be so dry to the point you have to reapply and you can wear it just once when your skin is better. I know it's hard but with patience you'll get there :D The cerave cream was the only thing that worked for me and helped my exzema.

Aveeno will almost clear up my eczema on my body, but it comes back when it's either my wash day or because y know eczema doesn't clear up like that. Aveeno soothes my redness and moisturises which hides my eczema and smoothes my arms completely. Cerave doesnt do anything, product sits on top,my eczema patches are still rough and red but with cerave layer. Feels uncomfortable.

@@cookiesarelikecream Do you have eczema or just dry skin? Oils are good to apply on damp skin. Don't wash your body everyday as you'll just dry out your damaged moisture barrier. Get drinking a lot and swap your body wash for something like goat and oat milk soap as it's gentle.I don't use Aveeno on my face, I use cerave which has improved the dry patches for my face better than my body, I use an spf after. Look for a moisturising spf as sunscreen can just been protection rather than moisturising. Lukewarm water for your skin. If you're having a bath get a tablespoon or two of coconut oil in the bath, slippery as fuck but it's decent for the skin. Get a humidifier on the room too, could be your heating or house air drying you out. Purchase products like cleansing balms when you wash your face so you're adding moisture. Just do anything that is less stripping and inviting a lot of moisture back in.

Hello! Thank you for the video. I’m in early 20s and as of now I don’t have any skin concerns like fine lines or wrinkles. However, I do have a very dry skin and I read that ppl with dry skin are more prone to wrinkles. Currently my skincare products are gentle cleanser, hydrating essence, Cerave cream as moisturizer, and SPF 50. I also do gentle exfo 2x weekly. And I don’t wear makeup on daily basis. May I ask whether using cerave as moisturizer (and my current skincare routine) is enough to prevent wrinkles and aging? Thank you!

In fact dry skin are not more prone to wrinkles. They appear cause colagen decreases when we age. There is nothing to do with sebum. The only concern is that wrinkles are more visible on dry skin and this can make a difference after a certain age.

I have oily skin and it’s great. It’s not just for dry skin. Just because you have oily skin doesn’t mean you can’t use (or need) a creamy moisturizer. my skin is oily but dehydrated. Oil and moisture are different.

@@kashfimohammad8158 I stopped using it on my face because it wasn't addressing my dryness as much as I would have liked. I know a lot of people love it and have no problems with it on their face. Try it... it's inexpensive. Plus if you don't like it you can use it on your body. I love it as a body lotion.

Which one to choose CeraVe Cream or CeraVe lotion? I'm confused?

Maryum, if you have oily skin lotion is better than cream. Cream is good for dry skin :)

I have the CeraVe hydrating gel cleanser and I'm gonna purchase the hydrating mycelar water and this cream. I have try face with an oily nose and my facial skin is really sensitive and I have a problem with acne.

if you have acne prone skin, i would maybe recommend using the foaming cleanser instead! my skin is reeeally sensitive and i have eczema and acne and that one helps me a lot more than the hydrating cleanser :)

@@saraznibi3533 yes, the SA cleanser can be a bit harsh! if your skin is really dry, maybe try using the hydrating cleanser for a while, and when your skin is back to normal use the foaming one. If you don't have acne and your skin stays dry, maybe stick to the hydrating cleanser for a bit longer. Never forget to use a moisturizer and sunscreen!

anyone here with perioral dermatitis? I use the lotion and it does not cause a flare-up and saved my skin so far...the only thing I can use...BUT my skin feels rather dry after use and I think I could use some more "power" at night...I'm afraid of the heaviness sealing my skin off again though and getting a new rash :(
