I really like your channel! I watch your videos all the time, and, I've purchased some of your plans. I think it would be really awesome if you would make a playlist that would show the order in which the tools should be made, progressing from the most simple and useful, to the most complicated. I would love to make all the tools you've demonstrated on your channel. I'm thinking of a playlist that would show an absolute beginner, with no tools, where to start, and how to progress, needing to purchase the fewest tools.
Mach weiter so mir deinen Videos!!! 👋
Putting your track saw on the wall in the most ingenious idea I've ever seen. Not only does it save floor space, but makes dust collection way easier by limiting where it can fall.
I have to say that this is not only one of the most creative woodworking channels on here, but is actually a pleasure to watch. No techno music, no ridiculously expensive machinery. I love all the jigs you made in here, but my favorite is probably the fine adjustment jig. The rounded end with the metallic tape and the magnet was an absolutely elegant solution! Thanks for reminding us all that this doesn't need to be overly complex, just well thought out.
It’s true… he uses like the most premium wood I’ve seen… like the plywood is pristine condition. Like not even a blemish in any of the layers. Then the extruded aluminum he uses along with his fasteners are all premium products. I’m not saying this is the case for him, he may have special circumstances or connections. But to build almost any of his larger pieces of equipment I’m sure that the price of materials is very similar to the price buying the professionally manufactured units. Obviously not the top of the line units but mid grade ones for sure. Maybe in Japan materials are cheaper… maybe he bought a excessive amount before inflation ruined everything.
@@dallinostler4794 I believe, in Japan and other places over there, woods that we consider exotic are fairly common. Also, a lot of these are built with small pieces. Maybe he gets drops from a high-end furniture builder. Great work to be sure.
Thanks! My tools become more valuable every time you post a video. The satisfaction of making the jig is so much that I sometimes make jigs that I do not use after the jig is finished.
I love how you put all of this information in one video rather than trying to get views from many videos. Simple but versatile and space saving. Great job.
I have almost 50 yrs in woodworking, and while I have made many of these jigs over the years, I still look forward to watching you fabricate them. Your precision and economy of motion are very impressive to me. I am retired now, and hope to finally build some items for MY family. When I do I will be using some of YOUR tips. Well done, keep[[ up the good work!
I am totally impressed with everything you've done in this video. I'm over 60 years of age, and just would have liked to know these things 40 years ago. Especially like the small suction jig you have, and the jig with hinges which lines up the bit with the edge of the router. I'm totally blown away, thank you for sharing your experience, expertise and knowledge with an 'old dog' !
These jigs are brilliant! Your projects are always so well thought out, accurately made and yet never over-engineered. Your video techniques are also excellent. You don't have unnecessary background music and you don't make us watch you drill 16 holes (all exactly the same) but you do show each important step. Thanks so much for all that you do! 1
Really… this video should be standard study material for ANYone using electrical hand routers! Each jig is a gem as well as a must-have. Thank you so much! You’re the grandmaster of jigs!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I am a furniture restoration and fabricator with 50 years experience. Your channel has been an inspiration for so many ideas, jigs and shop tools that make my work easier and abilities better. Again, thanks from The Sawdust Factory, Nashville, Tennessee. That fine adjustment jig is ridiculously useful. Made it a few days ago and been using it non stop. I added a long and soft spring on the screw - the tension prohibits the screw from turning on its own.
As someone who is just starting out …. This HAS to be one of the best videos (Out of 100’s that I’ve watched here on TH-cam) EVER!!! Thank you SO much. Priceless.
New subscriber! Wow!! Very impressed by your Shop!! When you walk in and see the tooling in wood fixtures instead of store bought steel and aluminum, you know your at the right Wood Shop! Very impressive Wood Working skills!
I appreciate you sharing your skill, ideas, and most of all your attention to fine details in the projects that you build. You must have a large storage area for the jigs that you build! And a good source for aluminum track and hold down knobs! Keep up your wonderful videos. You're the master of building jigs and machines.
You are truly the 'Wizard' of Jigs. I am rarely impressed by most of these videos, but am so happy that I found You. You are like the 'Swiss-Watchmaker' of Carpentry. Simplicity combined with Precision. Even Your video shares the same Qualities as Your work. Can't thank You enough for sharing. You have most likely just saved me thousands of dollars. Thanx Again, JSK-koubou !!!
Like everyone said, brilliant! (Your videos are like a video game tech tree of tools, this one makes this one makes this one 😄). Especially loved the fence with the hinged predictor/alignment guide.
1 thing I like about watching your same videos again and again is that I get to see how you do things and then I begin to understand each uses better and better. But this time watching this video you gave me extra ideas and uses I can apply to other things I want to make. It is great to watch your videos a few times it gives people a better idea how to do things and also how to apply your ideas to help with other projects you are truly a talented person thank you so much
I shared your video with my Nephew as he making things and looking at ways to help in other tasks. I also advised he watch all your videos as they are all great, practical and can be applied in other projects and ideal for problem solving
Just an FYI to folks who want to make these, some will only work with the router bit you base it off. For example, the edge guide with the hinge (around 16 mins) only gives you the right line with the original bit. If you use a wider or narrower bit, the line will be off by the increase or decrease in the radius of the bit. For some jigs, you prob won’t ever use a different bit. But for some, you may, so just a word of caution (though almost anyone getting to the level of making and using these jigs prob already realizes that). That’s not a knock on these at all. These are amazing. I love how you use the jigs you’ve made to help make the other jigs. It really helps demonstrate how useful and versatile they are. A lot of other TH-camrs show you how to make a jig they say is useful, but then they don’t really demonstrate the usefulness as well. They cut up some scraps or something, which is fine and all. Oftentimes, I’m looking for how to make a jig for a specific reason. But if I’m just out here looking for what are some useful things I didn’t know I needed, having some actual use cases in the video is really helpful!
Oh My Word! This is one of the BEST wood working videos I've seen. What you have shared gives so much insight. A game changer for sure! With much appreciation I thank you. 😊 I definitely am going to pass this one around!

I have mixed feelings watching your videos. I’m in awe by your creativity and skill yet I’m left feeling dim witted. You are an excellent craftsman sir. Very well done.
Well, I stumbled on this and wound up losing 45 minutes, but gaining a whole BUNCH of ideas. And the video production is *perfect*. Nicely done! I prefer to do my joinery on the table saw vs the router, but I'll be making that four-fence thing right off. I'm ashamed to admit how often I've taped scrap to get similar jobs done, and then had to do it all over again for a slightly different situation.

Excellent jigs JSK. As I watched you vacuum up metal shavings and then wood shavings, it gave me an idea for a video build. Design and construct a vacuum where you can use the same vacuum and hose to pick up both wood and metal shavings, except the shaving go to two different containers/bags by way of a "gate design." One labeled "metal" and one "wood" shavings, and possibly more; a third for plastics and another for dirt/debris. Just a thought. Again great video; God bless.

I LOVE YOUR DIY wooden bench vise, and by now, it looks like your DIY ‘wooden drill-press’ has undergone some innovative retrofitting, so that it can now handle some heavy horizontal shear stress, so it’s gone from ‘DIY wooden drill press’ to ‘wooden mill’, all from wood?! I’m sure you’ve done the XY-table, but have you done the Digital ReadOut integration for it yet? YOU ARE A CARPENTRY WIZARD!! You are so lucky to have that Marine grade Baltic birch plywood to hand, and I really think that you literally put 10 times the value back into every block of it that you cut! KEEP IT UP!

Lei è un genio della falegnameria ,veramente impressionanti le sue capacità e la genialità con cui costruisce i gadget per la falegnameria, i miei complimenti grazie
KEEP IT UP!
All that knowledge without saying a word! Inconceivable! Awesome video! You are like the Charlie Chaplain of wood working!
Exactly 😂😂
Thank you so very much for sharing. Your family and friends are very privileged to have you near.
Thank you.
I hope you share the video with your friends!
25:20 An ingenious method to make the axis of the screw perpendicular to the plywood when screwed into the socket! 👍👍👍
